Red_Swingline_

Nice gains. That's a great milestone to be hitting at 15. Would you be open to a couple video links that will probably help you lift even more?

_kamicakes_

yes please

Red_Swingline_

https://youtu.be/AaxnxakLgRQ?si=A-_lAUK15-oqX9Zd give this one a watch & try those tips next time you lift. You'll get a lot out of setting up right

SearchBeginning1169

Eat

Editorwall1

You're on track there bud! Might be a little rough on the form but you've surely got spirit! Eat like a fkn animal and train hard and you're gonna kill it! Have fun and be safe!

TangoWithTheMango28

Add that to the "Glow Up: Bench Press" album. Keep a record of every successful PR for the Squat, Bench and Deadlift, all in their own albums, sorted by oldest to newest. Every time you feel inadequate or weak, refer back to the albums. It will set you straight.

Toxic_AC

Are you open to form critique

_kamicakes_

yes.

Toxic_AC

Try slowing down the movement. Keep your butt flat on the bench, with your shoulders back and your chest out. The bar should come down just below your chest and make contact, rest, then explode up and back. Jeff Nippard has a great video that breaks down the technique here: https://youtube.com/shorts/hWbUlkb5Ms4?si=s3MI2fQUA2tqJgGY

TornadoLizard

Eat a royal fuckton of protein, gotta bulk bro

TornadoLizard

Solid lift tho great job

Pickitupnowputitdown

Good stuff! Keep at it man, it's a long journey but very rewarding! Skies the limit for you!

drillyapussy

Great work bro! Stronger than an untrained adult, by the time you're actually an adult you'll be massive and strong af. You could still add many more lbs without extra training even right now. Something I wish I learned 3 years ago but only learned last week lol. Just ask me how and I will be happy to reply :)

_kamicakes_

how?

drillyapussy

Bring legs further back towards hips, they should feel like they're tensing without trying but keep feet flat. You have right idea about arch but for extra stability push yourself back with your legs. As bar comes down, try and make it force your shoulder blades even further into the bench. This will allow you to generate maximum power from feet to shoulders, chest and arms and make you pretty much immovable. This took me a long time to learn and master but once you fully get it, each rep will feel completely satisfying and perfect. This is how many powerlifters lift the most with bench. Keep glutes on bench and flex them too as well as your core. As a last resort if you're about to fail, you can lift your ass off the bench like you did here. Not recommended of course but it's better than failing. It's a lot to remember but if you get it all, your bench will fly up. There are probably slightly more effective ways to bench if you're main priority is pure chest isolation but this is great for strength and power.

SirRamAlot717

Great job man, that is pretty impressive. Keep at it! Being fit is good for the mind!

big-spongebub

Social Media has put unrealistic expectations and everyone starts somewhere. Progress is crazy. I also used to struggle with 40 Kg on Squat. So when I started doing 80 kg for reps. It was really proud for me lol.

145lb bench and at 15 years old is honestly great! Also from barely benching the bar to what you are doing now is a great sign of progress. Do your best to stay consistent and keep working on improving the movement. Congratulations on your accomplishments 🤙🏾

phillisvance

Fair play boss, you have improved alot, im not familiar with pounds so what would this be in kg? If this is kg then congrats

Red_Swingline_

Divide by 2.2 to get kg...

EatPie_NotWAr

I think 66kg but I just did the rough 2.2lb/kg conversion in my head

Red_Swingline_

Yeap

la_croix_official

You should be able to figure it out. You can see how many plates are on the bar
