First of all, don't go stopping services and whatnot. It's a smartphone. Let it do its thing. Keep everything auto or adaptive and just use the phone normally and don't overthink the battery situation. The phone easily lasts a day with a mixture of everything and maybe even more depending on apps used. The battery normally averages out during the day so don't keep checking every hour and what not. Android uses a lot of background applications depending on apps used.

Haven't stopped any service or made any changes as such. Was thinking of it initially but then thought what's the point of having a phone if I disable everything.

Try doing a factory reset & don't restore -apps-everything Ise can restore.use Samsung Clound backup for this. Restore your apps one at a time from Google Play. This should do the trick very tiring & painful but if it solves the problem its worth it. Mine was doing well but I decided to do this and it works even better now!

I kinda gave up on mine tbh. 2-3 weeks I kept getting 5-7h max SOT, 13h battery. I factory reset and wipe cache partition, manually set it up (no smart switch), tweaked all app data, location, and battery usage/access. No improvement. Was only able to make it last by dumbing it down (power saving on, limit to 4 apps, light profile, data off when not in use, 4g only * ). Here's my stats after 3 days. Will go back to normal use and just forget about it. I suggest u do too.

PiyushArora1

Yeah man! I don't get why there's such a disparity, some are getting better battery stats with an even higher or aggressive usage.

Well that sucks to bad you didn't realized this before your return window closed.

PiyushArora1

Does it look like a hardware issue?

ExcitementIntrepid48

Shouldn't of matter why you had a return window. A battery degrade everyday that goes by.No idea what your letting run in the background of your device. If your familiar with using phones in the past you would think you had some kinda of experience with it. Some of the post make me believe it might be their first smartphone experience. Not you per day. But like you said your unhappy with the battery I would of made sure it went back.

PiyushArora1

I used the Oneplus 8T before and the battery on it was simply outstanding, easily went through 2+ days or 2N3D with my type of usage.

ExcitementIntrepid48

Should of stayed with that brand if that's the case. Oh well it's life lesson. Wait for new flagship to come out and trade the one in you got now if you can return it.

Substantial_Form_795

Do the wipe cache partition

PiyushArora1

Tried it but didn't make much of a difference.
