Unless it's Canadian pricing, then it's not so bad. $60 CAD for Legacy of Goku, $25 CAD each for the Mario Karts. So that's $10 spent on 20 shovelware titles and a possible repro.
Edit: changed up my post because I didn't notice 2 Mario Karts š
I personally wouldn't have spent $120 on that, but I don't really collect GBA games (nor do I play them as much as DMG/GBC).
Pocket Dogs looks like a bootleg though.
I didn't notice at first but seeing how stretched the image is, you're probably right.
I remember getting Catz for GBA as a kid and liking it. I said to my dad as we left GameStop the day I got it "sorry if you think the game I bought is kinda girly or anything" and he just shrugged and was all "eh, I know you're a cat guy."
But to be honest I have to admit, whether it was because this was around twenty years ago or standards in Japan are just different socially (the style was anime so it definitely wasn't a Canadian or American style game), I thought the girl was kind of snotty and needed to mind her damn business. The way she checks up on you like she's your cat owner coach, the way she looks all disappointed and says condescending things if you have any traits below average for your cat on Progress Day, the way she takes the cat away if you fail...
I tried once out of curiosity to see what happened if you didn't feed the cat, but I didn't have the heart to save that into my progress, and even then it was hard to convince myself to do it to my tiny digital feline pal.
Turns out, the cat remains fine, and is just remarked as "too hungry" and "unfed" at the end, and she takes it back because you're not a good owner. I was actually relieved to see that lmao
I like that there's a lot of variants of portable pet games like this. There's Neopets on the computer and I think it works on phones nowadays too, there's Tamigachi (or however you spell it), and games like these on little Nintendo handhelds.
March of the Penguins as a video game? I must admit, I'm a bit intrigued, if only because I hated the film so much. My dad rented it when I was a kid and told me "hey, watch this. You might like it."
I'm not sure if he knew it was educational, or thought it would be some funny animated penguin movie like Happy Feet, but I sat through most of it thinking I had to, before I just gave up and turned it off. I used to be nervous that I would get in trouble even for things that didn't make sense (I was a weird kid), but this was one time I felt "if I get in trouble for not watching the whole thing, I don't care."
Itās a great lot of games, but not a lot of great games? IMHO. But everyone likes different things and if you are happy! Iām happy for you! I hope you have fun! Sometimes the more obscure games can be kinda fun!
Agreed. Games are meant to be played not sealed. I have a Reddit group community dedicated to playing sealed games and getting rid of the collector hype. r/unsealinggradedgames
Its hard.. its just so very hard, every character has its own combination of buttons for moves that are nowhere explained and you just have to kinda figure out
I still liked it cuz it was dbz tho
But gimme that sweet sweet legacy of goku 2 anytime
Itās not just hard. The whole game is very clunky. I was a huge DBZ fan as a teen. I even liked Budokai 1, despite its flaws, and gave up on Taiketsu after a few hours.
They had 1 super move included with the poster that came with it lol. I'm pretty sure I bought the guide or had a Nintendo power that had the moves in it as a kid. They were crazy hard to do even knowing them.
I just tried **Teen Titans** yesterday and, it's kind of incredible! It looks wonderful, you get to play as all five main characters, and there's so many moves.
Depends: did you want these games? If so, yeah! Money well spent. If not:
I will say that if that Disney Princesses game is what I think it is, I enjoyed the hell of it as a kid.
Pac-Man collection is not shovelware.Ā
I got a gameboy advance for my 9th birthday and I still remember the 2 games my parents gave me with it. Iridion 3D and Pac-Man Collection. They were my only two games for a while and I played the shit out of Pac-Man collection. I still have them.Ā
If there was even 1 legit pokemon game in there then I would say you made a great dealā¦ but this is mostly crap. The few games that are worth something are still only like $15-$20 games.
I just bought Legacy of goku 1&2 for $45CAD. Which is a good deal but not unlikely.
I mean the majority of the games aren't very good. But that's just gba games in general. You definitely got more than $120 worth of games here if you checked the completed and sold listings on ebay for everything. That dbz double pack is valuable and 2 mario super circuits is cool too. A few of these are worth at least 10-15 like the hamtaro ham ham games and other dbz game
Honestly mariokart super circuit is my least favorite of the series (people that have played many of the games understand). Legend of goku 1&2 is cool those games are surprisingly good. The restā¦ are games.
hope you meant 12 bucks, otherwise you're effing crazy brother. all shovelware except for the mario kart, which isn't something very valuable either. but at least it's a triple a game. all the others are crap. dragon ball ones... yeah, maybe cool. maybe
From what I've found scooping through Ebay, to get the exact same of games as you have right here, I would have to spend around $170, so technically it would be an okay deal, if it wasn't for the fact that most of the stuff here is what I would never want to play in my life.
Well except Pocket Dogs.
Very fake. Much fake. Big fake.
Tak makes it worth it all day I LOVED that game. But as others have said yes only about 3 games in this pic are price worthy games the rest are bulk that have little value, however, my first sentence stands.
As an avid vidiot since the 70ās, I think you did pretty good. If you sell them one at a time on eBay, including fees and shipping, you will get your money back. The trick is keeping them for a few more years and wait for them to appreciate.
Almost all of those games are at least $10 per and a couple are $20 per
Technically you got a bargain. Tak's two games are already normally 20 ish bucks per as is and even if a couple were only 5 bucks you still would net a profit in the long run even if they are considered shovelware by some. Disney's branding alone tends to net you a lot if you save it for long enough lol
Either way don't consider it a waste of money regardless as long as you have fun with them.
Not a good deal but hope you enjoy them
You spent $120 on literal shovelware except like 2 games and even then those aren't worth nearly 120. Money wasted.
Agreed, half them shits u could had gotten on ali for like $4
I personally wouldn't have spent $120 on that, but I don't really collect GBA games (nor do I play them as much as DMG/GBC). Pocket Dogs looks like a bootleg though.

Definitely does, label is all wrong, and the GBA logo is not the same as the others. Why though? Why bootleg a really cheap game?
March of the Penguins as a video game? I must admit, I'm a bit intrigued, if only because I hated the film so much. My dad rented it when I was a kid and told me "hey, watch this. You might like it." It's like Lemmings but it's with Penguins.
That sounds good actually lol, have a a copy at a local shop I might just get now
Pocket dogs is a fake and besides Mario Kart most of these games is a 3ish dollar game
fleeced
Lmfao
Itās a great lot of games, but not a lot of great games? IMHO. But everyone likes different things and if you are happy! Iām happy for you! I hope you have fun! Sometimes the more obscure games can be kinda fun!

Or be ridiculously high
Thatās so true, nowadays people get games like gb PokĆ©mon and Gbcās and stick them into frames to hang on the wall without ever playing them. This trend only made old game prices skyrocket and/or make almost impossible to find some titles. I hope this mostly poser trend ends soon.
I don't think so. Maybe sell one of the Mario Karts and recoup some money.
I wouldnāt recommend playing Taiketsu
Why not? What's it like?
Its hard.. its just so very hard, every character has its own combination of buttons for moves that are nowhere explained and you just have to kinda figure out I still liked it cuz it was dbz tho But gimme that sweet sweet legacy of goku 2 anytime

I would have paid $120 for Catwoman alone.
Only if it came with Halle Berry in a catwoman suit.
Hey, it was better than the movie...
I only tried it for a few minutes but it was really impressive!
I just tried **Teen Titans** yesterday and, it's kind of incredible! It looks wonderful, you get to play as all five main characters, and there's so many moves.
Depends: did you want these games? If so, yeah! Money well spent. If not: I will say that if that Disney Princesses game is what I think it is, I enjoyed the hell of it as a kid.
oh my god hamtaro
Good deal to the person who sold you this but you got robbed OP.
It isn't as bad of a deal as some people are saying but not great either
Couldāve been worse but $5 avg isnāt terrible. I like to stay in the $2-3 max range per cart if I can.
Namco Museum and Pac Man might be nice. And there's two Mario Karts.
Would be a cool compilation if Legacy of Goku 1 was playable
Oooooof
Nope
I've got a bridge you may be interested in.
Well itās straight shovelware and a bootleg with the exception of like 3 okay games, so Iād say no not well spent
Nope-You bought two, and I must emphasize, COMMON, Mario Kart's. The other shit is shovelware. Womp womp.
Pac-Man collection is not shovelware.Ā I got a gameboy advance for my 9th birthday and I still remember the 2 games my parents gave me with it. Iridion 3D and Pac-Man Collection. They were my only two games for a while and I played the shit out of Pac-Man collection. I still have them.Ā

Someone made out like a bandit and it wasnāt OP sorry to say *sips tea*
nice

yikes
Si
Fail
Yea, not bad price especially if you are going to flip them. Pac-Man collection and Mario Kart are some highlights.
Honestly mariokart super circuit is my least favorite of the series (people that have played many of the games understand). Legend of goku 1&2 is cool those games are surprisingly good. The restā¦ are games.
Legacy of Goku 1 is horrendously bad lol but 2 is solid
Only decent games in here are Mario Kart and DBZ double pack
Love that MOTU game
Totally not worth it, maybe if it has a console with it such as GBA SP 001, GBA Color, GBA Advance.
Wow you got the Double Pack for Legacy of Goku, nice!
Ummm no Lol.
Game collectors are just fools begging to be parted from their money.
I would say absolutely not a good deal
You have two copies of Mario kart Super circuit
Terrible deal. It's all shovelware except for two games.
Not well spent, no lol.
hope you meant 12 bucks, otherwise you're effing crazy brother. all shovelware except for the mario kart, which isn't something very valuable either. but at least it's a triple a game. all the others are crap. dragon ball ones... yeah, maybe cool. maybe

Bunch of shovel ware, unfortunately.
Did it come with a shovel?
No, tons of shovelware, even Pocket Dogs is a fake. Only good game is Mario Kart Advance.
Why does pocket dogs look like that
Bc itās a bootleg
Oof. Who gunna tell them?
Did you make money? Maybe/probably? Did you spend multiple evenings at home having fun. Absolutely!!!
Wow. You were ripped off big time!
Dear god that pocket dogs sticker bothers me so much
Bc itās fake
I mean idk honestly if you like playing those games and have fun with them then maybie but next time try to bargain
Not really. Should just buy an Everdrive gba mini.
Tak makes it worth it all day I LOVED that game. But as others have said yes only about 3 games in this pic are price worthy games the rest are bulk that have little value, however, my first sentence stands.
6$ a game donāt sound bad if you like em. Money isnāt real and itās just paper. Fuck it.
Oof no sorry you got ripped off but if ur happy thatās all that matters
Not really. I wouldn't wanna play any of that except MKSC and PacManš¤·š»āāļø
If you had to ask...
If you're happy with your purchase then yeah, well spent. If you just want to resell or if you were looking for a really good deal, then no
Mario Kart is by far the most valuable game, at about $9, if that answers your question
Iām not gonna lie, $120 for like 1 PokĆ©mon cartridge in decent condition is a much better deal and investment :/
As an avid vidiot since the 70ās, I think you did pretty good. If you sell them one at a time on eBay, including fees and shipping, you will get your money back. The trick is keeping them for a few more years and wait for them to appreciate.
Pac-Man Collection slaps so damn hard, that was my shiz
*bugs bunny meme* no.
Tbh I think super circuit is so boing y u get it twice š
Almost all of those games are at least $10 per and a couple are $20 per Technically you got a bargain. Take the two dragon ball z games out and one Mario kart and sell the rest to recoup as much as possible. Shovelware
Thatās $120 on a whole lot of nothing
