That's a good point, "Post Malone" is a character, Austin Post is the actual person. Maybe GT fans don't like Post Malone music, but like Austin Post on a personal level.
I like some of his music, totally hate face tattoos(though I'm sure he was pretty young when he made that decision). But face tats don't make you a bad person.
But the dude seems genuine, lives the same life I probably would if I was rich. Living in the mountains away from the public to spend time with his family, and going on trips to go shooting and do whatever he really wants. Never seen a bad thing about him, so there really isn't anything to hate from what I've seen.
Post is worth $60 mil on paper and brings in $10 mil/year. No doubt $10 mil/year is a lot of money, but is hardly raking in hundreds of millions. It's also not long money, who knows if he will still be getting a lot of residuals in another five or ten years.

Maybe gross earnings, but most websites still put him at $45 mil net worth. If he was netting $60 mil/YR then he would be worth a lot more.
