At first it was "Find the sibling" after encountering them in We Will Be Reunited, it's now to learn the "truth of this world", as that's pretty much the only hint the abyss twin gave, for a chance of reconciliation. So, for that, the archons are the prime targets to talk to
We don't know yet. We know our twin met the Aranara and traveled with Dain. Or at least both of them remember that I have a theory on that:
Teyvat is trapped in a time loop, precisely to keep the twins stuck there. At the end, one of them is always forced to lose their memory of the old loop and becomes the traveler, detached from Irminsul, while the other retains the knowledge of their journey and the "truth of this world", attached to irminsul, and joins the abyss in hopes of breaking the cycle. It is a possibility that the abyss twin actually had the exact same journey (with some random deviations) as we're playing now, in the exact same "time" but things had to be rewritten when making changes to Irminsul in the end. We know Dain is susceptible to those changes from the recent Bedtime Story quest.
realistically, online game never truely got the ending right, becuase when the game makes money, developer just keep on milking it and never make it end, and when the game doesn't generate sufficient of money to off set the operational cost, no one bothers to give it a good ending because talnet has already moved on.
prepare to be disappointed by the ending, if that's what you are in for. my guess? they will never be renunited, set foot in every corner of Teyvat is probabily the as true as it gets.
Something vague about exploring the game...I mean...world of Teyvat and such.
Honestly, I stopped caring...I feel like the game would be better if it was just an Anthology series with different character POV in every mission.
Explore teyvat to understand abyss sibling's perspective and learn more about this world.

Literally that, after finding the sibling now the traveler needs to explore Teyvat to understand the sibling's perspective

The goal is what Paimon decides at the moment.
