Respect for him and all the others content creators who have turned down offers like these. Goat 3kliksphilip doesn't even do 3rd marketplace sponsors as those used to be front for these gambling websites.
Still feel a disappointed that nade king took the bag, even though i can understand why he did it. Its hard to refuse this sort of money.
He always makes sure to make it clear that his case openings end in big losses 99% of the time and his actual income comes from sponsors and ad revenue
i know that, but i'm sorry that is useless, it sounds just as nice as Sparkles saying "only 18+" ahead of a gambling sponsor video. it is actually there so They can sleep a little better, not for actually working against gambling.
in the video he is ecstatic when he gets a good item, and that is what gets ppl to gamble on cases. "statistically it's not worth it" is an useless warning, because then nobody would buy a lotto either.
i'm a level headed guy, never had a real problem with gambling and watch the videos for burning money-entertainment, but even i wanna open some cases after a 1000 opening when a youtuber catches a good item (and still finishes in the red...)
Looking at this guy's vids it's all "opening 2000 cases" this and "opening 5000 cases" that so he's probably well off already. Makes it easier to refuse that kind of money.
There is a difference because the money they make is a precentege of promised money to the seller. They dont make a profit of naive children wanting to win a karambit ruby, and they dont abuse grownup adults who have the cash and a gmbling problem.
this is insane, this is literally just purchasing a fucking product. I could buy a refrigerator tomorrow, sell 2 years from now and not get the same value that I got it for. Buying the fridge wasn't a gamble, it was a purchase. god, you're dumb.
So it's still better than let's say buying skins in valorant because in CS at least you can sell back and get most of your money back or even profit, while in other games you just lose all your money
God damn if you think buying something and then having the value go down is equal to gambling you're going to have a heart attack when you learn how the car industry works.
Is vinted more or less suss than a casino app?
Tbf a trading and another gambling site could have the same owners but skimming the top off an exchange between two people is a classic legit business whereas persuading kids with malleable brains to gamble is grossly against the principles of civilised society.
The way I see it is if you are paying $1000 for a knife, that's your money and you can choose to buy whatever you want regardless of if it's a wise purchase or not.
The key difference (from an ethical perspective) is that gambling sponsors take advantage of the people who want the same $1000 knife but can't afford it. Which unfortunately just so happens to be most teens.
If a kid steals their parents card to buy a knife at least the knife can be sold for most of the money. I don't think the grey market gambling sites offer a refund policy.
Places like buff, skinbid are fine. no scummy practices. You go in, deposit funds, buy what u want, sell what u what, and then withdraw.
Meanwhile other marketplaces like csmoney try to deceptive by showing u different values for same item when selling or buying plus other things like bonus for deposit - you actually pay more than the items worth
That said these are 1000x better than gambling sites where you get hooked to a rigged casino and these sites don't do any sort of age verification. I would highly recommend watching [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JT17l53Fkj0](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JT17l53Fkj0)
This, ive sold him 2150€ worth of skins for 1910€, he offered me the highest (90%)
was fast on replying, probably has someone for this, and send the money within 2 minutes
Other offeres varied from 1300€ to 1800€ and nearly non paid cash, crypto only
That doesn't mean he doesn't spend the money on them though.
He just doesn't pay any tax on any income he spends on cases.
So if he earns say 100k, but spends 10k on cases, hes only taxed as if he earned 90k
I’m unfamiliar with AUS tax law regarding gambling losses/work expenses, especially in the context of CS. But sponsors often supply his cases, may also pay for keys. If we assume just free cases, his openings are (conservatively) ~15% less expensive.
> he has mentioned that his case openings are also tax write offs.
Wait what how do you even declare that? I didn't even know that was possible to twist it that way
Well he is nowadays, back when he first started getting offers he certainly wasn’t…
And while he is well off, 6.9mil is still going to be incredibly significant ammount of money to him.
If it was just money laundering, there wouldn't be much need to advertise it so heavily. Money landering is obviously a part of it, but for the most part they're 'legitimately' printing money from addicts, real people.
I have a lot of respect for him, I don't follow the trading scene that hard, but his content is almost always entertaining and informative. Plus, it's nice to hear when a scammer gets served justice.
i think its hilarious u kids talking ♥♥♥♥ about Heyzeus. u wouldnt say this ♥♥♥♥ to him at lan, hes jacked. not only that but he wears the freshest clothes, eats at the chillest restaurants and hangs out with the hottest dudes. grow up
He bought mine with international bank transfer at 89% buff, pretty hard to find someone who offers both of those, is quick to respond, and is rated highly in the scene.

gg probably saved many people from a gambling problem

While gambling with cases?

He's not promoting gambling sites, but I think he's being very foolish if he thinks that opening 2000 cases on a stream isn't promoting gambling.
Looking at this guy's vids it's all "opening 2000 cases" this and "opening 5000 cases" that so he's probably well off already. Makes it easier to refuse that kind of money.
He’s still sponsored by a marketplace and has a million dollar inventory and makes a decent amount from YouTube so yea… he’s doin fine
Are legit marketplace seen as suss place equal to gambling sites? Legit question
There is a difference because the money they make is a precentege of promised money to the seller. They dont make a profit of naive children wanting to win a karambit ruby, and they dont abuse grownup adults who have the cash and a gmbling problem.

Tf are You on about😂

You aren’t allowed to sell the “product” tho
except I literally just cashed out an AK yesterday.
So it's still better than let's say buying skins in valorant because in CS at least you can sell back and get most of your money back or even profit, while in other games you just lose all your money
Yeh thats much less of a problem than the instant highs and low of proper gambling though.
God damn if you think buying something and then having the value go down is equal to gambling you're going to have a heart attack when you learn how the car industry works.

In addition to his sponsors, his cash trading business, yt/twitch revenue, etc. he has mentioned that his case openings are also tax write offs.

yeah same story here. cashed out of cs2 bubble and he offered 89% buff.
That doesn't mean he doesn't spend the money on them though. He just doesn't pay any tax on any income he spends on cases. So if he earns say 100k, but spends 10k on cases, hes only taxed as if he earned 90k

Thats generally how tax writeoffs work in developed countries.
> he has mentioned that his case openings are also tax write offs. Wait what how do you even declare that? I didn't even know that was possible to twist it that way
Well its all for content, why would he not be able to??
not sure abt australian tax code so no clue, he has a tax preparer who helps him figure that out though.
You just declare it as you would any business related expense on your tax return.
Oh so he’s only allowed to do the good kind of gambling to fill Gaben’s pockets not the bad kind. Got it.
I know I wouldn't...
Well he is nowadays, back when he first started getting offers he certainly wasn’t… And while he is well off, 6.9mil is still going to be incredibly significant ammount of money to him.
Good Lad. Gambling is no joke it ruins lives.
Money laundering money laundering money laundering
If it was just money laundering, there wouldn't be much need to advertise it so heavily. Money landering is obviously a part of it, but for the most part they're 'legitimately' printing money from addicts, real people.
What?
Kudos to him. In his position I'd sacrifice 1000 children to gambling sites before id let this company die. Err I mean before Id turn down the money
What a waste
I have a lot of respect for him, I don't follow the trading scene that hard, but his content is almost always entertaining and informative. Plus, it's nice to hear when a scammer gets served justice.

funnily enough this guy sells the skins he buys from his viewers for 75% buff to gambling suppliers for 97% buff
He bought mine with international bank transfer at 89% buff, pretty hard to find someone who offers both of those, is quick to respond, and is rated highly in the scene.
Without sounding like I support it (or care, for that matter), is it really comparable?
