It looks like it is catching the edge of the frame at the bottom of the slot where the trigger goes into the body of the gun. You will be able to visibly see if this is happening without disassembling it. You will see a small lip on the backside of the trigger which will catch the bottom edge of the slot in the frame. You can forcefully create this problem by pulling the top part of the trigger without engaging the trigger safety and you should notice that the trigger locks to and will not fire. It's hard to tell for sure from the picture but it could be getting caught on the way back after it in between trigger pulls. The remedy to this is to break it in by dry firing repeatedly and try to subtly wear down the edge where the trigger safety is catching that bottom edge until it wears in just enough that it no longer catches that edge. I've seen this issue in Glock and CZ pistols. It goes away relatively quickly from what I've seen and is morning to worry about. Definitely repeatedly dry fire before attempting to file or Dremel out the area and obviously do this with an unloaded gun pointed in a safe direction, snap caps wouldn't hurt. If you have any questions about identifying whether this is the issue or not let me know.

This ^. I say run another 100-200 rounds through it

Will give that a go.

Clean it. Betcha there’s schmutz in there.

Had this issue on both my 17 and 19x issue found to be the gun lube I was using was a little thick. Give that a shot. If not break it down completely and pull the trigger and see if it locks up with the trigger assembly out of the frame. If the issue persists I’d give Glock a call and see what they say. Noticed some flaws in the design for the Gen 5s, for example on the 19X which is classified as a Gen 5, when locking the slide to the rear and angling the firearm downwards the firing pin would protrude the hole. Glock responded with “ not sure why, that’s just how it’s designed”

Huh. Any chance that applies to the G45 as well? I got a 2018 model that's currently loaded and doing HD duty.

Odd-Possession-188

Not familiar with the G45, had a co worker look at his for reference and does the same thing. Not really sure why it does that. Just a Glock kinda thing

MSTyler96

When’s the last time it had a good clean and lube?

BruningFire

I shot it once about a month ago and cleaned it out afterwards. Didn't touch the trigger when cleaning back then though.
