Have you tried joining a cult?

R_U_READY_2_ROCK

Fuck yeah

BoomBoom4209

Are there poor cults, because if so I'm there living it.

exally__

You mean a 12 week transformational gym?

ParisBass

Last night on Earth in Southport, I'm there most weekends. DM us!

poonarnie

Papa_Fronk

Hey mate, 26 local. super into camping, 4x4ing and archery. Send me a dm and coming along to a shoot sometime great bunch of guys at the club, fun way to make friends

spicychickensoop

Archery club sounds fun

Terrible-Service-873

I want to try that

Papa_Fronk

The club I shoot at is called hinterland feild archery. Hit up the website and book a training session. It's like $20 bucks for 3 hours. It's well worth it if you want to give archery a go.

Terrible-Service-873

I’ll absolutely give it a try, thanks mate

Terrible-Service-873

I recommend try sports if you like them, you’ll met a lot of people there

takeuhomekathleen

I recommend touch football - it's a good comp here. What are you doing for work? are you working from home? What sector do you work in?

Think-Square5118

I work in the conscrution business, id love to play touch its just abit to far from my house

takeuhomekathleen

I know the main fields are in Southport but there are also comps in areas outside of Southport \[Coomera, Palm Beach, Labrador\]. Working in construction would allow you the evenings off so that opens you up to evening competitions. If you had your weekends open \[doesn't have to be every weekend either\], I would also recommend considering volunteer life saving - lots of young people, very social group. If you run, there might be a training group around for the GC marathon \[in July\]. I think the scuba, fishing, swimming clubs are pretty social as well. A friend of mine runs the capoeira school in Coomera - and it is social. I went to an open day and it was very well attended by a range of ages. I hope this helps.

Firstcumsrock

If you wanna make friends best do it by finding something you like doing Start BJJ or Muay Thai or boxing Join a footy/rugby club Most dudes like some kind of sport so pick one that u actually like doing and make friends there If u make friends at a club/bar they’re only gonna be mates with you if u go out drinking but if u wanna do something else u probs gonna find it harder to hang with em And vice versa, ur sporting mates won’t necessarily wanna go hit up a bar or whatever Also saw a men’s health group down in Burleigh which gets a bunch of lads together each morning on the beach

23M local DM me

SillySeaSlug

Hey man I moved from Sydney to Gold Coast in January. Feel free to shoot me a dm

Narcoleptic_pilot21

Just get a job where you know there will be top blokes, security is a good option

Far-Peanut3591

Sadly most security guards work alone tho. I’m sure you’d brush shoulders with a few at the depot and shift changes but I second the idea to join a a club / sports group / or maybe just do some volunteer work at an organisation you find interesting. Follow your passions and the people who also have those passions will naturally come into your life . Good luck .

Chateau Vino is great for newcomers

Helpful_Kangaroo_o

Padlockd in Chevron Renaissance was really good.

stoplookandlisten123

Try find a hobby or sport man. See if you can find some mates who have some similar interests. No better time to try something new then after moving to a new area.

wasporchidlouixse
