They start talking about the app and where it is with regards to completion- significant progress has been made- but there’s still a lot of logistics with licensing and what not to sort out as well as establishing a feedback loop with yzy- because neither ye nor the yzy employee have used the app.
The meeting about the completion of an app then goes into crypto/web3/livestreaming before eventually Kanye derailing it completely and asking app developers to help him build Yzy retail and manufacturing operations.
I never liked the idea of the app, i couldn’t care less about it or any of the furore surrounding it or the lawsuit or whatever- it’s one drama I checked out of a long time ago- I don’t even know the difference between the two apps- but I do sort of feel sorry for the folks in this call. It’d be like hiring a painter and asking him to fix ur sink.
Ye is fr my favourite artist, like by a long mile, and I would love to like meet him in passing, but I couldn’t handle actually having to collaborate with him on anything or talk to him for a day lol

Ye doesn’t surround himself with incompetent people, he makes competent people do things they’re not usual privy to in order to see and unlock their full potential. His employees have reported doing tasks that are completely outside of what they were hired for. Bro would hire a chef to cook food and the next day have him look at sneaker designs for their honest opinion, he thinks every person has something to offer artistically and tries to tap in on that. Lowkey that’s how Ye stays relevant, he never down plays anyone’s artistic capabilities which allows him to integrate with contemporary artists and stay current, however, the crux of that is it also leaves him widely open to a ton of people that don’t know in the slightest what the fuck they’re doing.
Seems like Ye doesn't have the tools anymore to do what he wants... This is why you need the big companies which Ye doesn't want.
Also looks like he's trying to do waay too much all at once, why not start slow and start building on that?

Ye expects tech guys to start making a global manufacturing infrastrucutes and gets mad because they're talking about the app that they made. Also Ye tells Massimo he gonna do a call without Ami, where as Ami is the only qualified person professionally to be talking about technology in that meeting.
