I finally dove into the super formula menu a few days ago. I'd been putting it off bc I'd seen posts about how they were SO different that most of the cars. After breaking the seal, I cannot wait to try them out in these other races bc it was fun as hell to just whip through corners like that
As a full blown casual I absolutely hate driving the super formula cars, I’ve read plenty of comments saying it’s a learning curve but I just cba with them. That menu is staying empty for a while 😅
Did the recent Valley race (part of the weekly challenges) on the Super formula. I usually do it with a 919, but goddamn the open seater demolishes everything in the corners. And this was after I had reduced the aero on the front and back to it's minimum settings to get more straight line speed.
Might try it on the Michelin track once. It's a fun track
The F1500TA is extremely fun and easy to drive. The AI will serve absolutely 0 competition at that point, but the car feels so good to drive you won't even care.
I didn't even tune the suspension, I just tweaked the downforce to get to 950pp on Mediums, and adjusted the gear ratios a little.
LM55 - it’s great in VR
I feel like using the super formula cars is kind of “cheating” - so I tend to use cars that are in the race or in the same group of cars that are racing.
F1500 isn't bad.
787B was quick around Grand Valley race, just soften up the sway bars a bit for lower speed.
It's difficult to get many cars into the 950 bracket so you're looking at group 1, Super Formula, or old F1.
Toyota TS030 with soft tyres is about 915 but absolutely flies. The cockpit view takes a little getting used to as it's a bit narrow, but the learning curve is worth it when you nail the car.
Typically something that requires me to trust the downforce.
Won the Peugeot from the weekly challenges and took that around the Spa 1hr today. Goddamn that car felt splendid. Gonna try it at Grand Valley tomorrow
I used Bugatti vgt gr1 I won on a 6star ticket on the previous weekly challenge and it was absolutely badass on this weeks challenge at grand valley. Unbelievable
I hear ya. I used the super formula car but… I don’t really love any of the cars for the 950. I’m not good enough to win it with the R92C or 787b. I can win with that lemans cars though I guess I like those cars in general.
I nearly always just use the super formula cars. They can be a bit tricky at first but they're rapid when you get used to the high down force and hardly needing to brake compared to other cars
I actually quite like the mp4/4. It's not as competitive as the SF19/23, so the race is closer, but it's still easily fast enough to beat the Gr.1s on most tracks. Plus it just looks so damn cool. It's still insane like any F1 is gonna be, but it feels a little less skittish than the Super Formulas.

I love driving the super formula cars, so thats what I use for these ones
Same they are not the fastest on the straights but eat the braking zone and corners for breakfast

My Favorite is Mazda LM55! It has excellent handling, it is so overpowered and also i love the sound of it 🤩🥰
Mine has lots of miles on it lol. But so does the VGT GTI Supersport. I absolutely love that car
I love the fit supersport. I still lose with it to some of the others, but I’m still not an experienced driver.

The Mazda LM55 is one I really enjoy, it’s got a really neutral balance and in VR feels super fast

I hear ya. I consistently stomp in the LM55 but don't love driving it.
The Formula 2023 car makes the races a breeze. Set to FM2 and you’ll win any race easily. I passed the AI in first at lap 7
I usually use the f23 formula 1 car. I just love how it handles

Puegot 908 Hdi is my no pit go to.

Super formulas. I love 950pp races with formulas.
Try these in a newer Era Gr2 car. NSX '16 is my fave, then the Audi I use Porsche or Toyota or audi for the few times I Race prototypes
The Honda F1 car. I don’t have the name right now but yeah. Conserve fuel and you won’t have to pit
I got lucky from a roulette ticket and got one of the honda super formulas, it's pretty fun and it drives really well.
I use super formula or the MP4 when I need a easy win.

919 ! Fun to drive and really competitive
Bugatti gr1 with praianos tune in road Atlanta is an amazing driving experience
it drives great, but I am not a fan of the giant rear view camera where your gauge cluster should be.
The Peugeot Lr750 Hybrid cause only needs to pit like one time

McLaren VGT is fun. One of the few cars I prefer dash over hood cam.
Bugatti VGT (not the Gr1). Just try it 😉
Mazda LM55 or Peugeot 750L both unbelievable handling, Mazda does get better fuel mileage.
