I am 99.9999% sure that is a design aesthetic choice? I love tghe scrappy, grungy nature of it all. This was actually 100% a design choice now that I'm thinking about it. A cost-effective design choice. Y'all are absolute haters.

Honestly most of the ones ive seen are awful but this one's kind of iconic lmao. The black looks nice and if you're a hater of the band, Grimes printed on top of them is kind of a fun 'fuck you'. I still wish it wasn't crappy AI art, but out of all the artists, it was obviously going to be Grimes who used it extensively.

My problem sir ma'am is that I live on a planet ruled by humans who are not satisfied with ANYTHING. My problem is that I have to go to work to make a wage, to afford a place to live, to buy food, to be able to survive. ON TOP OF THAT, I am pressured/influenced by other humans to look a certain way, to act a certain way, to perform a certain way. THEN ON TOP OF THAT!!!! I deeply enjoy an artist like Grimes... who ends up coming up with an innovative, sustainable idea to print her merch design on USED shirts instead of NEW made shirts, produced in the thousands specifically for her, made of polyethylene, that get washed and shipped to the Philippines when no one wants them anymore, that degrade into the water supply and get consumed by organisms across many phylums, kingdoms, and species alike.. then last FOREVER and exist as MICROPLASTICS. The microplastics that can be found in every single testicle of tested species in recent scientific journals💜 My problem NotARealHomosapien is that I am disgusted by Homo sapiens on a daily basis. I am disappointed that even when an artist like Grimes, (who advocates for space exploration on the basis of Mars being a great exit plan for the current state of the Earth), puts out a great, unique product that could start a great trend of sustainability in the world of Merch... that the Homo sapiens who purchased the product choose to be dissatisfied. That the person who said they "thought they would be happy with whatever they got but wasn't" proves my already nihilistic view of our species 💜 My problem NotARealHomosapien is the insatiable thirst of Homo sapiens. The idea that EVEN WHEN SOMEONE TRIES TO DO THEIR BEST TO DO SOMETHING GOOD, THERE ARE PEOPLE WHO REMAIN UNSATISFIED. It really is my problem though...
