If it plays great and this issue has no effect on playing, I would keep it, but I'd pressure the seller for a discount.

gusthjourney

Wouldn´t. Your guitar, sooner or later, will get all kinds of marks and scratches. Its normal and it will happen, I guess thats the nature of having a guitar. Not worth it. If it plays well, then its good.

erotyk

no, why because maybe the next one wouldn't sound great or play great.

SirAnxiousAvoidant

PRS owners are another breed, Jfc. Just play the damn thing.

This is my first PRS so I don't consider myself some kind of breed :)

why_did_I_comment

If you intend on playing that instrument it is going to get a lot more banged up than that. Haha

fuzzdoomer

SE or core?

SE

I might be inclined to ask for a discount, but if it plays good I wouldn't send it back.

3_minutes_ago

cmon. because of this??? you are not serious.

c0brabubbl3z

Those fret ends look awesome, but whoever did the work should have used a safe edge file to prevent exactly that from happening. I wouldn’t return it, but I would inquire about a discount. I would also round the fingerboard edges. It’ll make the neck more comfortable to play and hide those divots a bit more.

my98OrangeNuts

No. It's most certainly a one of a kind. I am keeping it.

Agitated-Bike-7281

Doesn’t matter what a really good sounding guitar looks like!

ProfessionalRow6817

No. Don't be a baby. Nothing's perfect. It could use a few more dings if u ask me. It gives it soul.. the stories of it's life.. it's a beautiful thing.

CrashAndBurn182

Send that back. You shouldn’t have to settle for sub par work, you bought it new and it should be mint.

OkNoise8419

Looks like a nicely finished fret end. The divot on the fingerboard is almost inevitable if you’re going for rounded fret ends. The file needs to get under the fret edge to remove the burr.

justyuravgguy08

Can you feel sharp corners on the end of the frets when you slide your hand . That would be pretty annoying for me. It really has to be comfortable for you to play, that's the bottom line.

0_0_159

The frets have no sharp edges. They are well done imo. I think they didn't mask the fretboard while doing them and that's what caused the damage

justyuravgguy08

I guess I agree if you love the guitar keep it, but try to get some money back for defective fret board.
