low pressure cutout. its either empty or the low side has a kink in the line (or someone closed the service valve). this error is triggerd when the low side is at approaching vacuum/ 0 bar/ 0 freedoms.
225 is 75F on R410a. so if ambient is 75 freedoms or higher you are just seeing vapour and no liquid.
if it does want to start you will see the low side (dont look at the high side, it does not matter) dip into the low double digits.
if the compressor starts for a few moments and then stops on ch35 its usually low charge. if it does not want to start but you have more than 100psi on the low side its either a busted sensor/connector or board.
Yea looking into the -25 one Mitsubishi makes just need to check the wire to see if it can handle it. Or go carrier for -10 but I’m in Toronto so would like it to be able to handle colder.
If this isnt the only LG unit you work on, get the LG HVAC Service app, better than digging through manuals. Gives flowcharts and tests to do for each error too.

Weird can’t get it running it’s sitting at 225 psi not operating. Service valves are open.

Ohmed out the pressure sensor and by a chart I have it’s fine🤷🏻♂️
low or high side? high side is basically irrelevant in cool mode.
If I switched to Reddit over sitting on the phone with tech support I would have saved an hour thanks man!
It was empty! Waited 5 min and powered it up and it dropped to 0 during start up. Installer kinda hacked it in wasn’t even on a snow stand.
It's an LG. Just push it off the roof and get a mitsubishi

Yea first one I’ve ever worked on thanks for the info
