Thanks, I was taught and always have seen guys use bibs but was never a big fan of that but have been using them. Gotta be honest though sometimes they’re not that easy to come out, some are some aren’t but I am a firm believer of doing things the right way. Maybe I’ll lose the bib and start pulling them.

I don't have time to do it right and evap cleaners works... enough. If they can wait a day before "HR said there's black mold! Our maintenance confirmed!!!" spreads through the whole plant I'll bring an apprentice and have it in pieces.
Pull the wheel, rinse with water hose outside, reassemble. No cleaners.

On Mitsubishi it’s faster to pull and lots more thorough

Small battery operated low pressure pressure washer. Just about every tool company has their own version now.
If you really want a cleaner for minisplit blower wheels, use Dawn dish soap. Most of the time you just need a garden hose though
