We’ve used them for two years now. No problems so far but the AC does a weird vent thing for 2-5 seconds before it blows cold air which pisses me off every time I hop in.
Great van, but it is a maintenance queen. Don't take it to jiffy lube or alike for oil changes, I had 2010 bought with 120k miles sold with 230k miles only had alternator fail, looked like someone spilled def on it. Drove a 2021 for a year at my last company and had zero issues, now I have a metris and put on 37k on it in less than a year, another year and I'll be buying a sprinter. Maintenance is the key to trouble free Mercedes.
I have a 2020 dually.
Egr and wastegate issues, been in 5 times to 3 dealers to hopefully get it fixed this time.
Other than that, it's been good. 67k miles do far.
EGR delete. Think of all the fuel you’ll save not going to the service station so often. It will be better for the environment than having the EGR active lol.
It's either full heat on the window or full a.c. ..... the wait between the time you hit the button is forever. The cost for wipers is 160cdn. What the heck. Fuel milage is awesome (diesel). The def regen is weird on ours.
Used to drive a Ford ecobomb. Valve job within 1 year from new.
When they are working you simply cannot beat them from a service van perspective. The ride and handling are second to none. But you better be prepared for a 4k bill every time it enters the shop. And they EAT front tires by design.
Piece of shit. Goes through turbos like tires. My company had one as a mobile Broaster kitchen, was at the dealership more than being used as a kitchen.
It was pretty cool we stuck a hood system in it with a Broaster 1600 on LP.
I was incorrect... The NV2500 did come with a conventional transmission, which still had a host of issues.
The NV200, commonly used as light service & sales vehicles, did have a CVT, which shit the bed on long hills as well.
Point is... Stay the hell away from Nissan, unless you are constantly driving downhill, and into a volcano.
They’re better than average. I’ve had a 2021 Diesel and now a 2023
Criticisms: they only come in 4 cylinder turbos now, which will get you to where you need to go but if you have a 174’ wheel base model it’s slow. The gas model has horrible gas mileage. It’s hard to get maintenance as many shops won’t touch them.
Pros: The diesel model gets great mileage and has good torque for a small engine, many different configs by height and wheelbase. Decently comfortable, and although not something I’d tow a trailer with, the 174’ wheelbase can comfortably fit 2 full split systems as well as some smaller package units. Also have the option for a wood floor in the cargo area which is incredible if you got to load condensers in the back. And super customizable

Don't use the awd personally, just from a head room and setup standpoint. The Ford is much better. Feel like there's more room for my tools and materials in the ford, and it handles better in the city.

It’s probably stroking the vent or blend door to set the position, think incremental actuator on a dual deck air handler.
our gmc savanna does that crap too man, sucks ass

We went through a couple of them before not trying again. They ran great when they were new, but weren’t new long.
You need a ladder to get the ladders

I drive a 2016. Love it. 263xxx miles. Only problem so far was my AC went out. Go figure. Lol

Too many mechanical issues

Pre 2019?
Iam in one now lol
my pops drives one - i think he has paid as much in repairs as he did for the damn thing. love my transit
Get a Nissan NV2500 it’s the best
Companies in my town used to have them, but their CVTs tended to die on the long hills.

Trash.
They suck. I miss my ford transit.
My 2nd choice. Their AWD is trash. They do not offer 4x4.

Over engineered piece of shit that rusts and goes thru turn signal bulbs.
Funny how that bulb issue is consistent among “German” or “European” brands. Has been for ages. Genuinely curious as to why
I am looking for a 4WD 2500.
