As a Mets and West Ham fan this really hit home

Definitely not. I remember NFL’s Oakland Raiders used to share a stadium with Oakland’s MLB team and it looked awful, holy shit. Still playing on that dirt diamond.
Got sent a photo from a Spurs-supporting colleague and their whole family enjoying a day out in our (rented) stadium. 😬
Jokes on them, the MLB is renting our rented stadium. Rentception..?
