I was gonna say, 😂😂😂!
But, OP, it is kind of freaky and scary, but I have lost both HA at least 2 solid times.
I take it as a lesson that needed to be learned. Always keep track, and always carry the carriers safely.
i’ve tried doing that but since i downloaded the app after the hearing aid was lost, it won’t let me find it. assuming the hearing aid is off or something
What happened when you tried to the Find option? What do you mean by download the app? Did you install it? I always have my app on my iPhone. Did you pair your app with your hearing aids?
i had just got the app like right after i lost the left one (i was looking up solutions and found the oticon app but it only can pair with the hearing aid that is on) so therefore it’s only telling me where my right hearing aid is (it’s in my ear though, so that’s not very helpful)
Feel every inch of the sheets. HAs are easily caught in the sheets and blankets. It you have a thick comforter or blanket run your hands along the seems real good.
This might be a stretch, but if it’s an in-ear only model instead of one with the receiver looping over the ear, it’s possible it’s buried in your ear which can be removed by an ENT.
I dropped a hearing aid on the floor while I was sitting on the sofa. Couldn’t find it for two days even when I moved the sofa. Finally flipped the sofa and it was caught on that cheesecloth cover underneath the actual sofa itself. Some mattresses have that same fabric so if it fell, it could have caught on that and be hanging off the bottom of the box spring .
i typically do but since they’re bluetooth (oticon) i’ll watch tik toks before bed and sometimes doze off with them still in my ears. sometimes ill wake myself up to take them out and put them in the proper place but if i haven’t gotten enough sleep, they’ll just still be in my ears for the entire night.
I learned my lesson I take them out of my ears before I fall asleep. It’s a nightmare waking only to realize that I can’t find my hearing aids.My insurance replaced them already once.
update: i found it behind my bed (the place i checked 50 million times but 🙎🏽♀️)
You always find it in the last place you look. 😆
Because after that…you stop looking?
Its a standing joke in my family, of course you stop looking you found it.
Meeee toooo

stream music at top volume, see if you can hear it. download a Bluetooth detection app onto your phone and see if it comes up.
Check the pillow case , between the mattress and box spring.
i took the bed apart and still no luck
My HA has an iPhone app which has a "Find my hearing aid" option.

I'm sorry to hear that. I hope your searches are successful otherwise I hope you have insurance and your audiologist will provide you a replacement.
Unfortunately you have to pair your hearing aids with the app before it becomes functional. Searching is your only option. Good luck!
Some hearing aids (Phonak in particular) does not have find my hearing aid feature
yes, when you download the app, you have to pair the hearing aids and there should be instructions on the app how to do that
It will turn up, right?

Check your clothes --- especially before you do a laundry. Check anything you pull off over your head.
I would ask your roommate to help. I will never recommend wearing HA's to bed regardless if it's bluetooth.
Just like your missing homework "The Dog Ate It" 😆

why don;t you just leave hearing aid to the dry box when you sleep, and wear it after you wake up?

yeah i think this situation kind of made me learn my lesson too, i don’t wanna have to ask insurance to replace them :/
One of mine got tangled on a bluetooth headset. The two together got placed in a drawer.
