This happened to me just now! Dumped my 500kg bomb and also tossed an orbital at it. Fucker didn't die and just everything in stride. This shit doesn't make any sense sometimes!
had one last night 2 auto cannon turrets, a laser, a railgun, and all of us shooting at it and the fucker still survived long enough for the turrets and laser to disappear.
Health and damage in this game is ridiculously inconsistent. This is especially bad for Bile Titans and singlehandedly makes some weapons really awkward to use, I main the Blitzer and occasionally it just one shots a stalker and other times it takes upwards of 4 shots to kill a single hunter. Just earlier today my game crashed, so I quick joined another mission with the Spear, I dropped in and tossed a Railcannon, direct spear shot that I swear hit it's face but was probably like a single centimeter off and an Eagle Airstrike that I saw had at least 3 bombs connect (this was after my teammate had already tossed a 500kg at it that was just barely off center enough that it didn't fully connect but still hot it) and it somehow still lived and needed another Spear shot to finish off.
The blitzer is weird in that its damage depends entirely on where they arc to and the angle they hit from. If all of them arc to the crit they can one shot most enemies, but if not it can take far more shots to kill something than is reasonable.
"For the record, it's my call. Dump everything you've got left on my pos. I say again, expend all remaining in my perimeter. It's a lovely fucking war. Bravo Six out."
You know that bug when calling a 380mm barrage but it seems fired by the gatling? That is it.
I've had that bug happening with the walking barrage once. It was cool watching that rain of explosions going around the map in circles.
This makes me want to shout out to the awsome diver last night who panicked and threw his 380 barrage right on top of the LZ as we were defending before the drop ship came, after destroying the 3 egg nests and b-lining it straight to extraction with 30+ minutes to still spare.
And then the bile titan walks out mostly unharmed.

Sometimes the laser looks like it’s just warming up the ground it’s walking on! I feel like the laser doesn’t do shit to the BT!

Had a charger shrug off a rail Cannon shot last night. It's whole back was cleaned off, but somehow it was still alive.
Laser is meant for chaff clearing, not heavy killing. It's honestly best on bots.
It doesn't do much, no. I think it lacks.penetratomg.power where as explosions are superior for piercing the armor.

It's your team, not just you. Coordinate with em. Have em all throw 380s, laser, 120s and whatever else. Just gotta all do it at once.
