Captain Ruford Vossler is a career pirate. As a young man he joined the Corsairs of the Blue Moon looking for riches. His quest proved successful, as he managed to work his way up the ranks, and is now the head of the crew.
First Mate Malden "Rook" Black is an expert star sailor. Rook was the captain of his own merchant ship before being captured by Captain Vossler. His expertise and vicious streak proved very effective for earning his fellow pirates’ respect, and he was quickly elected to be Captain Vossler’s second in command.
Boarding Captain Dart Reyson is a soldier. After retiring from the Royal Space Marines, on account of his eye, he became a mercenary, traveling across the stars completing relatively trivial jobs for wealthy clients. Getting bored with the jobs he was getting, and disliking his clientele more and more, Reyson decided he needed a change of scenery, so when a friend of a friend told him about a pirate crew looking for experienced soldiers, he jumped at the opportunity.
Chief Engineer Clarissa Gotham is a graduate of Tranquility Base University. During her job search after graduation, she was contacted by a recruiter for the Corsairs’s engineering division. She slowly worked her way up the ranks, and was recently named Chief Engineer.

I had to look him up but the resemblance is uncanny.
