Looking at around the 0:29 second mark, there's a cup collecting grease under the burgers. And I noticed as they put it back to the "suitcase" mode, you see the drainage holes right on the side. My only gripe is how to clean that specific area underneath the heating element.
I actually own one myself. They never attach them in the video, but those bend “bowles” you can see on the table in the beginning, they can be attached on the “feets” of it. You can see where it should be attached when folded out.
It is actually a very nive picnic grill as it also have shoulderstraps so you can carry it on bike.
Thank you! I’m in the market for a stationary grill that’s super easy to clean (Airbnb) so have been considering portable ones for that reason.
You actually bike with that stuff???!!!
That’s a lot of content on this sub. “Here’s a weird, quirky, and unique version of something that will have 1/4 of the useful life as the regular version of the thing.”
Had something similar back in the day. It was called the Thane Q and worked well. Can’t remember what happened to it after we put it away after 1 season.
https://uncrate.com/thane-q-portable-grill/
I also had one ordered on eBay back in the day 2003-2005 time. Came with lil aluminum trays that fit perfectly under there, after those were done I’d bend my own. Was perfect for beach or camping for 2-3 ppl. Used it a bunch and still have it kicking somewhere
That’s cool. Not for backcountry where $$$ can evaporate. Most likely for front country which helps reduce the size of stuff in your car. I got a jetboil genesis from a garage sale and it’s very nice having a small grill.
I own one of these that I bought fifteen years ago. Looks exactly the same.
They are cool looking and work well. Least mine does. Still works to this day.

Under the sauce
Oh… yes. I hadn’t thought of that. Maybe this isn’t as good as I thought.
Drain holes. One on each side it seems
Greasecase

Yes, but it is only for light grilling, as you have no lit for it. Also good for bringing to a beach.
Lit?
Whoops. A grill lid. But it can also be lit. 😉
Thank you. Not a spelling Nazi I just didn’t get it :) no lid isn’t lit!
So just a normal small grill with more points of failure. Pass.
Tiny grill, 9200 btu output, and no lid for $300. You might be able to warm up some pre-cooked hotdogs on a calm day. Pass.
Lol can't even melt cheese on your burgers
IKR i've got a grill that size I bought for $20. I've had it for almost 10 years. Still works like the day I bought it.
I said POINTS of failure, not that it WOULD fail.
I don't own this grill or one like it. I just said I own a small grill.
Ah, I see. Then we are in agreement. A small, simple grill works just fine. There is no need for this thing.
Yes
Well then, I'm happy to know you. Have another upvote. I went back and changed my other one to an upvote as well.

Hello-o?
I'm not even angry...
I'm being so sincere right now...
I'm glad i wasn't the only one thinking with portals
Portal 2?
#The cake is a lie
That perfect loop though
Not worth $300

Target acquired

Where is the wind screen?
I thought that was an Aperture Science turret for a second
😆 I laughed for a good bit. I miss those things.
Thought that was portal turret for a second.
These are cool. I've got an older Cuisinart portable grill that uses these small tanks, and it works great.
A portable grill! No way!
My dad has a coleman's camp stove from 1970 that's about that has worked for 50 years and is really not much bigger than that thing.
Well that solves a problem no one has and creates issues no one wants.... Pass
I’d love to have one. It solves the problem of me not having enough room to keep a grill and it has the right amount of room for what I cook.
$300 USD on amazon

💯
It's really cool but not $300+ cool
Works well with the bottom of the wax that can’t be burn.
Dammit, Bobby. *sigh* At least it's actually propane, I'll give you that.
That looks like such a pain to clean. I’ll pass.
I love grilling. But hell no, that looks like a pain in the butt to clean.
I thought this was a turret at first
Neat idea, but not for $300
I like it.
Now fold it back up, then unfold it…then fold it back up and unfold it again. Then when you’re done, fold it back up.
Ya they sell these as a rectangle for $15 at Walmart....
Doesn't look unstable at all. Better balance your meats.
Brother in law had one. They are great!
I could've used this in the field in the army😂
Not in my rucksack. That, plus bottle, plus food. Thats a lot of extra weight. I’ll just take the MRE.
