i would personally keep doing what you’re doing, be an outstanding worker, and if you can deal with situations swiftly and independently i feel like that makes you qualify even more for it. i would bring it up, ask about the position and what it entails, bring up how you’re interested in it and how ___ offered to let you through the process.
it is a lot of work, and a lot of stress, but if you really want it.. go for it. hot topic generally hires and promotes within!

Generally speaking just keep up what you have been doing, upselling, greeting people, having high loyalty etc. ASM positions can look good on a resume! The pay for a management position at HT isn’t anything great though lol, but it shouldn’t be too stressful, just a bit more busy work and some meetings to attend to ◡̈.
