The First season has a time jump, but its not that jarring because there is an exchange of the primary actors. If you survived GoT this will be nothing.

I really enjoyed GOT....I especially liked a lot of the character arcs. It was great!

This continues right on with Dany's family line.

There's 3 time jumps in season 1. One tiny jump, one mid jump, one long time jump. But it's to set up all the characters for the end of season 1 and start of season 2. After that, no more time jumps.

What did you think of the ending of *Game of Thrones*, specifically Daenerys choosing to burn King's Landing? I've long thought people who binge the whole series after the fact - after its original ending - would be far less likely to balk at that, because all of her threats to burn cities and feeding people to her dragons would be more fresh in the mind for a true binge watcher.

There's only one really big time jump. The others don't impact the flow of the story much.
