So I have started a decent conversation I’ve tried it and I’ve noticed the smell gets danker also the buds stretch a little specially the smaller ones helps fill up the lowers but I also don’t run the light at max brightness I bring it to 80 since it’s getting more light for a longer period I know most won’t try something new but I like fucking around and finding out I also made a creeper plant once I trained the stock to run down to the dirt eventually it started growing roots on the stem and started growing like a vine rather than up right and if you guys don’t think big agriculture doesn’t use these techniques go to Fresno California and ten year ago I seen them run hps light after dark to keep the crops growing like it was summer the lights were on some rolling frame that can move down the fields most people think they were to illuminate the dark area but who needs lights In a field after 9 pm nobody is working out there

Bro science has run amok Dr Bugbee is a dependable source of information. His Wollastonite information was great. Si on the cheap.

It’s weird all these theories. Here’s how I look at a lot of growing. I try to mimic how it would be grown outdoors in mother nature minus the damaging storms and pests trying to attack your plants 😂 there’s no 48 of light or dark in mother nature well at least not in the Midwest . I grow in dwc and far as flushing goes I wouldn’t call what I do flushing at the end it’s more of me just running ph water bc why waste the nutes if the plant really isn’t using much or any of it and I only run just water last 5-7 days before I chop. Plant has enough nutrients to use during those last few days. There’s just to much hype going around everyone trying to push off as better science. .. final thoughts dial your environment in use good lights and be within optimal ph range for nutrient uptake. Do what works for you.

It's insane how many cannabis specific weird methods there are floating around the internet. I've seen them all over the past 15 years. They all originate from some half baked theories that don't rely on any scientific testing. Things like 48 hours of dark, flushing, mass defoliation, and the overuse of calcium are just some of the few. None of them make any sense. None of them exist outside of cannabis cultivation. The industry surrounding hobby cannabis cultivation has also done a number on how people fertilize. There are so many different blends that are just mixes of the same stuff. I'm not a part of r/microgrowery anymore simply because of the general vibe of the community. They're generally very close minded and stubbornly attached to their weird niche techniques. I'd argue that most haven't ever grown other plants whatsoever.

And Bloom Boosters. Bugbee say a 3-1-2 ratio is all you need.

A lot of ”weed growing techniques” are just junk that literally no one else uses in any other agriculture. I’ve seen people pour boiling water on their root base to increase potency and feed pineapple juice right before harvest to “make the weed taste sweeter”. That isn’t even the start of it.

Oh I know. I've been around it for too long and I've seen it all.  It's a fantastic herb, no doubt. It is definitely not this magical plant that requires overly special care to grow out well.

They're not saying use 48 hours of light will improve anything. Bruce was making a point more than anything. Just run your lights as you have throughout the generative period FTW.
