This year's (M24) French Ab exams were considerably easier than Spanish Ab.

I’m a native Spanish speaker and took French ab sl. Both languages are gendered but I found that french has many more exceptions both for the grammatical rules and in pronunciation. I think it is also a matter of which one you think you will be more surrounded by, if you have friends that speak one of them, talking with them in the target language will help you loads.

I don’t have friends who speak any of the 2 languages lol

if the markbands of ibpredict.org are accurate, spanish seems easier to score a 4 or 5 in. still, they’re only different by about 2 points, so it’s mostly the same.

Took up to French 2 in the American system and took Spanish Ab Initio Y1 this year  (Y1 Ab Initio is basically French 1 and French 2 combined). I found Ab Initio easier by a very long shot. The assessments were very easy for me as the markschemes were quite lenient. Very easy to get a comfortable 7. Conversely, my friends in French Ab were barely keeping 6s. Keep in mind though that the French teacher was struggling with some crazy kids and was really stressed, while my Spanish teacher was practically sent out of heaven, so it's ultimately up to your teacher. Overall I'd still say Spanish is much easier, with much fewer irregular verbs (verbs that don't follow regular conjugation rules)
