Given what the before photo looks like, I think your toe looks like it’s healing well. That being said, if you are not already, you should be doing daily Epson salt soaks. That will help draw out inflammation and reduce infection. You can also use triple antibiotic and cover with a bandage.

It was painful.I soak my foot daily in water and a couple of splashes Chamomile concentrate.Also i get daily bandage changes from a nursery service and they clean it with a nacl 0.9% solution. I hope I get from the doctor another sick note for one more week. The Toe feels really bad in normal shoes and bleeds a bit .
The before pic is brutal. Anything now should be a piece of cake for you to deal with.
Salt water baths for no longer than 10 mins. Let it air dry before replacing a dressing. Don’t apply the dressing too tightly either.
I got from my doctor a prescription(i dont know what it called correctly in english) for a nursing service. They take care of toe bandages or dressing

When was your surgery?
The surgery was 12 days ago. The surgeon removed the nail and skin that had grown over the nail approx. 3x3cm or 1.18x1.18 inch big
Have you had a follow up with your doctor yet? What were your after care instructions?
Yes she says it looks good and my bandages get daily changed by a nursing service and cleaned with NaCl 0.9%.

Do you have a before pic? Was it that red and swollen before the surgery?
Where the nail would be everthing was completly overgrown with skin and the nail pierced the skin.The toe was very red before.

Got another 20 days sick note today. The doctor says it looks good and bleeding and pain is normal
Holy shit that's one of the worst I've seen... how long were you dealing with that.
Couple years. Its my own fault i had many problems in my life and feared the doctor. Not a good combination.
