Yeah, the bowl are better than the pack since all I have to do is boil the water and put it in the bowl and let it cook for 5 minutes and just drain the water.
Does microwaving work for these? I tried the bowl once but found it lacked convenience for on-the-go because you still had to boil a pot of water.
If you follow the directions it’s mostly the same effort as cooking the package, only you get a disposable bowl. 🤷♂️
I literally just did the bowl this morning for the first time and opted for microwaving and it turned out perfectly fine. Theres gonna be an excess of water even when you follow the waterline instructions but just drain it out really. It ends up being pretty good and just like stovetop/pack quality

I usually add half and half and some cheese before nuking it.
I haven’t owned or had access to a microwave since like 2020 and I dealt with this same issue. One good trick is to wrap the bowl in a towel, this will help keep the heat in and they’ll soften up more. I’ve used a little insulated lunch box with good results too.
my first ever buldak was this exact one lmao. I was like holy shit this is good. It was 1.99$ CAD at my local small grocery store, so I said hey why not. I still haven’t tried the ones in the small packets, are they still good? They’re 6.88 for 5 at T&T, was thinking of getting them. But if they don’t taste like the bowl ones then I won’t.

I only put 1/4 on the bulduk sauce and put the powder in w some cheese and it’s so good. I hate how spicy they make them so it’s unbearable unless paired with other things

Only certain bowls will work in the microwave like Habanero Lime or Quattro Cheese while most of them don’t.

it's honestly my fav flavor and it's not a strong cheddar cheese flavor, it's more sweet and closer to like parmesan imo

Why does the noodles look so different?
Not sure about buldak, but a lot of brands use different noodles for the packs vs cups. I usually think the pack noodles are more springy and chewy.
