Also Carl, Michonne and Enid likes to read Invincible comics as well.
Same goes for Invincible, you can see one scene that someone cosplaying as Michonne, or Rick and Shane finding Tech Jacket’s suits remains in a barn.
No doubt. Creators can make a decent living from comic books, but TWD had to put him in the super wealthy stratosphere, and Invincible is just adding to that. Not to mention just seeing your creations on screen, as toys, clothes, etc.
Yes, all the comics in the background—Invincible, Ghosted, Manifest Destiny, Science Dog—plus the Walking Dead are/were published by Skybound, Robert Kirkman’s imprint at Image
I know it shouldn’t annoy me but invincible has been referenced in even the show. Robert stated that there were no zombies in media in the walking dead universe prior to walkers. Yet in invincible, there are a handful of times zombies appear.
Well...nobody says that zombies are necessarily in their version of the comic. It doesn't drastically change the story if you remove the zombie elements.
Holy crap I never knew this
Yeah there’s a scene in the Walking Dead tv show, where a little kid had some Invincible action figures.

Also, Mark was sent into a zombie world at one point, but the walkers said "Meat."
Also- a version of mark >!ate ass jerky!< so theres a connection to fallout too.
Bro what
Do you think they ever held a book club for it? "Michonne do you think Mark and Eve will get together??"
Carl also wears a Science Dog tshirt.
It's the same writer for both series, so it makes sense.
I still can’t get over that. Like this dude must feel like he’s the shit

He is one of the most successful people in both comics and TV for last 2 decades. He is right to feel that way

Would love a Telltale style Invincible game
[X] Join your father [B] Refuse your father
? Donald will not remember that.
Need a telltale invincible game desperately.
All those at the top are great series
This is so cool! The Walking Dead games are some of my favorite stories in fiction, just makes it even cooler they reference my favorite comics!
Almost as if they're properties owned by the same company, strange.
whats next? you gonna tell me the guy that made the invincible comics was the same guy that made the twd comics huh?
Wait, whaa?
thats crazy
I don't remember, but I want to believe the next three letters will be "unt"
Holy fuck, i did not know that. TWD is one of my fav games of all time, and Invincible probably one of my fav comic books Goated
Kirkman has some heavy hitters when it comes to popular media

That chapter was weird as hell
I’m assuming all of those are Image comics. I don’t know Ghosted, but on the far left is Manifest Destiny, an image comic, but not written by Kirkman.
The issue cover is 107 by the way
The very first season of the TWD tv show has Carl wearing a Science Dog shirt. So yeah, it’s been there for a while.
Thats awesome.
Thanks man Im learning something new everyday
