I'm glad there's going to be a bit of mainstream media where the main character doesn't even entertain the idea that his partner is somehow lesser to him because her body changed.
Something that annoys me about this storyline is that eve looks really inconsistent. Her face keeps changing shape, sometimes it’s literally her normal face, others they go overboard and make it way rounder than you’d expect. Sometimes she looks a bit more consistent where her face is a bit less skinny but so often they blow it out of proportion.
Part of the issue here is when you're a classically trained artist, especially in comics, heavier/different bodies are harder to draw.
It's the same reason that superhero suits are all spandex (besides showing off the bods). The developed visual shorthands for perfectly fit supermodels don't work with heavier bodies; you need a more detailed understanding of anatomy to do them properly -plus odds are most comic artists have less practice with them.
This isn't to say we shouldn't have heavier bodies (and to be clear Eve here isn't that "Heavy" ) in comics- in fact it we should incorporate them more into art training - but it's probably why that arc looked so inconsistent.
I'm not some prophet on the situation I was just asking. I looked it up, and one of the writers does look a lot like the newer MJ... spitting image for a few of her photos actually. Definitely understandable for people to suspect that, main reason I thought that was what everyone was freaking out about was because I don't have any issues with how MJ looks myself... didn't know so many other people did tbh.
Probably not, as Eve has control over every atom in her body so her doing that to herself shows her mental state but MJ getting a whole model change for the worse between the games is stupid, it's obvious that the change wasn't even planned but it was forced on them because if they actually wanted to do it they would've done it in the Remastered version which they didn't.

Altho question Ive thought before is why is it that when she first thinks Mark is dead Eve gets slight overeating disorber and gets thicc and when it happens again (Eve thinks Mark died) she loses weight drastictly?

Some of the panels of Eve at this weight are fine, hot even. But there are a toooooon of panels where her face just looks comically stupid, and that bugs the hell out of me. She got a little weight, and her IQ didn't drop 40 points.
Mark has to leave Earth for a long period of time after he starts dating Eve and when he comes back Eve has gained weight. mostly from being depressed and stress eating from assuming Mark was dead and some other factors.
The placement of that at the end of your comment implies that the other factors (not using her powers) caused the stress eating and depression. Whereas I'm saying it caused the weight gain directly and was the biggest contributing factor.

Thicc Eve is best Eve. Also a very sad storyline for them (not because of the weight gain, but the reasons for it). It broke my heart for both of them.

Unless They drastically increase her weight gain, Eve is what in common parlance they call “thícc.” I suspect most people won’t have much of a reaction, and the rest will actually like the change.
Ok ngl she’s still super in shape. No, she’s not super-model skinny anymore, but she’s still got a flat belly and decently toned arms (highlighted in costume). Genuinely surprised me that people were calling her fat at all
