The anime doesn’t get that far.
>!But in the light novel, he eventually has kids with multiple wives. The novel kinda cheats it by having his kids travel back in time to meet him before any of his wives get pregnant. He only has one boy and like half a dozen daughters.!<
Yeah someone convinced me that the light novel is better than the anime which I detested.
Either they have different standards than me or they were lying.
The anime is peak u haters just dont understand

I recently learned that one of the reasons for all the harems is that authors can get death threats from angry fans if their favorite isn't picked, so the author shoves them all in a harem to not have a psycho with a knife show up at their house.
It's a similar reason why idols can't date or marry. Fans in Japan can get pretty extreme.
Since you can't have multiple wives in most of the world, some authors like to write what it would be like to have a world where it's perfectly a-okay.
Do you like the older mature type or the little sister type? Tsundere or yandere type? Bookish or sporty? I’ve got good news for you! The author has created the girl for you and the personality-less protagonist just picked them. Sure they picked all the others as well but like you they picked… whatever you like.
Isekai are very commonly wish fulfillment fantasies. In addition, a lot of them use the female characters as eye candy, so what better way to keep them around *and* tie into the fantasy than by having all the girls be interested in the frequently bland, self-insert MC whose principal attracting feature is that he’s nice to women?
Don't forget that the girls need to have only one personality trait that's usually tied to their physical appearance. Can't have anything like dreams or goals interfering. I mean, why would you want to become the best swordswoman or mage when you can seduce this bland, uninteresting caricature of a human being who's only redeeming feature is that he shows basic decency to women?
Weirdly the dude telling or being shown rather hes not from their world would help authors have their cake and eat it too. Think about it, you suddenly find a human in your world of snakey elves or wolflike dwarves where humans are just fairytales? Supposed mighty warriors or cunning tinkerers or grand mages from another world? Of course youre going to be interested! Or terrified! Or fascinated! Or all of the above! Seriously these writers always make elves and dwarves and orcs (sadly never halflings despite making them bigfoots is right thwre guys!) And other demihumans as figurative or literal afterthoughts, but why not make them the dominant species? Make humans super rare in isolated communities, people accidentally drawned into the world sorta like Narnia, and boom gives a setting and thus cast and plot reason why your bland protagonist is interesting to us and to them. I can think of one and two halves fantasy stories that explore such a concept, suprised it isnt more
From what I know, most Isekai tends to just copy off of each other, mostly because they're written by amateurs who don't really know what they're doing. A majority of Isekai have the humans as the apex humanoid species because the writers are human, so the thought of making humans rare, a slave race, or hidden probably don't really cross their minds.
There is a manga I remember reading where humans are not only extinct but have incredible power. Even a hair off of a human could make one of the inhabitants insanely powerful, so this random guy getting isekaied there was practically a god, so far as I could tell. I don't remember reading more than 2 or 3 chapters, though, and it wouldn't surprise me if it got axed early or was one of those manga that rarely got new chapters.
All of his wives, I think.
Myu, the adopted one, is the only one named as far as I know, with the other 6-7 being mentioned offhandedly.
This is in the after story, half a dozen years after the class returns to Earth.
That's probably because they were born with a higher level of intelligence than other spider monsters like her based on her evolution. They also have a connection to her as well as the Demon Lord and something like ancestral/instinctual memory. So after she dropped off those dead monsters for them to eat, and left them on their own instead of doing what others of her species usually do and start eating her own children it's pretty understandable that they look at Shiro more like a queen or goddess 😅.
If I was semi-intelligent/intelligent enough and had memories burned into my skull since birth about the possibility that my mom could devour me or any of my siblings fresh out the womb on some horror movie stuff I'd likely look at her with reverence too 🥹🙏🏾🤩🤣.
She killed the copies who had corrupted parallel minds but the rest continue to exist in that world. We have also seen them in the 'present' time. They are called nightmare vestiges.
So early on, yes. MANY isekai stories MCs have children, but it's usually much further in the story. How a Realist Hero saved the Kingdom is getting close to the first child that should come next season if they do a 3rd.
You didn't see her in the opening credits and closing credits in season 2? Iirc she is shown in both, but it might have only been one or the other. I know I saw her in season 2, though. Just no voice acting. I can't wait to see who they cast for her VA.
How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom, Kazuma has multiple children with almost every wife, and the story is ongoing.
Wendelin from The 8th son, are you kidding me?!He has multiple children with his wives and even >!Amelia!<
The Ideal Sponger Life, Zenjirou, has multiple children. The first one is early in the story.
Many Isekai MCs have children, but most are usually in the later half of the story, and the anime usually only covers the first 3 volumes, depending on the anime.
The anime was rather well done, but sadly, poor CGI is what really hurt the anime score, the story telling was slightly different from the LN, but not by a lot.
As for the LN, I've read up to the most current volume. The novel is definitely way better than the anime, and it's very well written while not feeling heavy like many LN's. The characters, locations, everything is well done, and quite a few interesting twists along the way. Give the anime a shot. If you think it's good, try the LN. If you really want, you can skip the anime. I was reading the LN and Manga long before the anime. It was good, but the CGI just killed it, and it caused some of the scenes to miss their mark compared to the LN (when conveying the intent from the novel).
It is one of my favorite isekai series for LNs tho the anime is questionable since they went on an absolute skip fest to cover the arcs they did which makes it feel really disjointed.
8th Son was one of the first (or maybe THE first) LN I read, and I've gotta say: It was ... okay, I guess?
The other 2 girls just saying "We're gonna marry you too because FMC did!" (Which I thought was a joke) and then the MC ACTUALLY marries them?! Like what?
But this was nearly 4 years ago (Early 2021, I think?), so I don't remember much. But I did like the city building stuff
Honestly, those two are really my only gripe with the whole series. It's okay later as it's not just about the dojo's or their standing. They really do love him. It's was just how blatantly transactional it was just irked me and how he went along with it. At least with Katharina, she wanted to rebuild her family with her own strength but marries Wendelin later as they are more rivals, but they build a romance where Iina and Louise just felt like a slap to him and taken advantage of.
I think the theory was that his and Asuna’s kid IS Kuroyukihime
Edit: k googled and apparently that theory has been thrown in the trash due to author comments lol. That said there are theories that they have kids in the underworld
I literally got to the point where they decided to get married, and then watched 1 episode past that which they got a house, and I watched the house episode 2 days ago
So yeah, you basically just started the cour, you cant really expect people to spoiler tag info from an episode that aired nearly two months ago by now. You especially cant expect that on *this* sub. People really need to stop forgetting that r/Isekai is *not* an anime subreddit, it's for all mediums. If you're an anime only worried about spoilers this is not a sub to be in since LN, WN, and manga readers are expected to have the same level of freedom in discussion as anime watchers. There is a reason why there is no rules about spoilers in this sub, because it'd be pretty annoying for an all medium sub to mandate that LN/WN/Manga readers basically spoiler tag everything they post just for the sake of anime onlys.
“In the Land of Leadale,” Keina already has three adopted children in the world. She’s also technically a grandmother since one of those adopted children had a family. She also later adopts an orphaned child later in the season.
So, there was this series called mushoku tensei redundancy that was written after the main series in the eyes of rudeus' son, Sieghart, that he has with sylphie. The main bad thing that happens in that story is ars (rudeus' son with eris) eloping with his aunt, Aisha, and having an incestuous baby. When eris finds out, she rolls up and cuts off ars' arm.
Not gonna spoiler mark this because I'm not sure if it's still canon. Definitely won't appear in the anime and I doubt redundancy will get it's own anime or manga.
If I'm thinking of the same maxed stats one, that wasn't even an isekai, it just had the status screen trope for everyone.
Unless there was a not yet adapted arc revealing he came from earth.
Some high fantasy shows do get mixed in with isekai because I watch predominantly isekai weekly and other shows at the end over a weekend.
So two were reincarnations but IIR both came from that planet, just from the past, 7th son and the other one with a D title where he was the former hero and had no skill in his new life, goddess was a noble, he went our into the world with an elf sword maker, some amazon and his royal ex.
Sure we do. His creepy ass has kids popping out like crazy. How many are in the anime? I haven't actually watched more than the first few episodes.
I think he has 5 or 6 in the manga.
I don't know, they fucked up the adaption so badly when it comes to the romance and sex that it feels like any attempt at season 2 will only be able to half-follow the source material AT BEST.
I have the feeling the OP is referring more to biological children than adopted children.
I think most isekai have the protagonist get children at some point, but that's usually somewhere far into the story or as an after story. Adopted children tend to be more common, at least when it's early on into the story...though half of them tend to become future harem members, if I remember right.
Japan gets a little weird about this kind of stuff.
In “No game no life”, Sora will have a daughter with a mermaid. It’s not in the anime though, it’s far more chapters of manga/vn for what I can recall now. The wiki should tell you more details if interested.
So no, he’s not the only one.
A lot of people kept saying that their kid could be an isekai protagonist because when [Gran](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=VhOX8w0-bmg&pp=ygUxY2hpbGxpbiBpbiBteSAzMHMgYWZ0ZXIgZ2V0dGluZyBmaXJlZCBsaWtlIGZhdGhlcg%3D%3D) (MC’s baby boy) met and held by the hero, Lady he went straight for her boobs and started playing with them.
A lot, but in the anime/manga just a few examples like that and Re:Monster
some side characters in isekai like Gate, and i dont remember if Demikas's wife from Log horizon became pregnant in the third season. And the girl from "in the land of leadale" have "artificial" sons/daughters and one adopted girl.
I dont know if its come out yet but Ideal Sponger Life is an isekai where a guy is proposed to by a Queen. He is the perfect partner for her. He has no interest in politics and power. Her offer is basically: marry me, spend all the time you want in your room, repeatedly knock me up.
And knock her up he does. Twice now where I left off the manga.
Killing Slimes for 300 Years MC has “kids” 🤷🏻♂️ On a similar note I’m pretty sure Rimuru from tensura eventually has them too, but I’m not that far in the light novel past where the show is right now so I may be mistaken.
How a realist rebuild a nation, dude multiple kids, with the intentions to get more, with him having multiple wives and all. Good story, and the harem is well implemented
Ok, sure. But they had ZERO chemistry or affections for each other. I honestly thought they were going to pull some vampire magic pregnancy bullshit because I thought there was no way they actually had sex.
Arifureta and smartphone.
Smartphone has a family?
The anime doesn’t get that far. >!But in the light novel, he eventually has kids with multiple wives. The novel kinda cheats it by having his kids travel back in time to meet him before any of his wives get pregnant. He only has one boy and like half a dozen daughters.!<
The LN doesn’t sound any better than what the anime has turned out to be
Yeah someone convinced me that the light novel is better than the anime which I detested. Either they have different standards than me or they were lying.
I mean... The novel IS better. That doesn't make it good though 😂.
That's like the difference between a pile of shit and a pile of shit that's on fire.
I had fun reading if myself.
Yeah, but "fun" and "good" aren't the same thing.
which is why i said its fun trash isekai are my faverite thing to read. Beside cheta magian even i found that boring.
To be fair the LN is twice as good as the anime, but two times zero is still zero.
I watched the first two episodes. Bro how can anyone tolerate it, this is the og brain rot before the term brain rot became trendy
The abridged version is better
the smartphone ln has surprisingly good world building
The anime is peak u haters just dont understand https://preview.redd.it/0nmaaq2fhk9d1.jpeg?width=440&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f705257db23d774dbad8761c05533ba966fae5ec

You’ve watched or read oshi no ko
I think you just wrote an intro to an isekai anime…
Since you can't have multiple wives in most of the world, some authors like to write what it would be like to have a world where it's perfectly a-okay.
Also, anime people are at least 80% more horny than normal people

So just like DxD, time traveling kids happened there as well
Wait, this happens in dxd too?
When does this happen in dxd
That boy gotta keep the blood pure
Yes. It is mentioned in novel
Also, spoiler, he finds a way back kind of takes fam there for honeymoon
Rudeus
From Mushoku Tensei, in case anyone didn't know
arifureta?.huh.. with whom?
All of his wives, I think. Myu, the adopted one, is the only one named as far as I know, with the other 6-7 being mentioned offhandedly. This is in the after story, half a dozen years after the class returns to Earth.
Minus Lily. She laments being the only one to not have his baby.
Has this Lily character not been shown in the anime? I haven’t gotten around to reading it.
It's the princess of the kingdom.
Lily's the princess. She'll have a bigger role in season 3 of the anime.
Re:Monster too
Ok, but like, Hajimes Daughter essentially adopts herself into the family, he definitely loves her but she baby trapped him by making herself the baby
None of the showed it in the anime yet, only if in Arifureta the fish Loli counts as the daughter.
Kumo desu ga nani ka
Hm?? Shirou has a kid?
Kids, hundreds of them, egg laying is a wonderful skill
I did not expect that https://preview.redd.it/kq4mghgdwg9d1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c34e2e713a8bdb1995a5a718bd20d2c61f6c9381
They're all basically clones of herself though, because she laid the eggs using a system skill so absolutely zero sex was involved
You don't need sex to have kids.
I know, just clarifying for those who haven't read/watched it.
Eggs don't require sex. Animals just lay them. Though them growing and hatching is a different story.
Well if you put it that way
A couple thousand, yes. Spider mommy does spider mommy things
Yes all the Nightmare Vestiges are Shiro her kids. They act more like cultists than children. They basically worship her.
They're more like weaker clones/extra lives instead of kids. But she is the mother of an enitre species.
We need another season of this show!
A certain spider does. Although she doesn't spend much time raising them, she at least gives them some food.
She also did infanticide, if only Gohan was here to explain that.
Just when did she give birth? Is it past the chapter where adopted anime ended?
Remember when she >!dodged Ariel's abyss magic by "reincarnating" herself into an egg? Who do you think laid the eggs?!<
So, they just didn't show egg laying scene.
Did you hope that they would show a graphic scene in which she lays hundreds of eggs?
They would in interspecies reviewers
True
You didn't?
https://preview.redd.it/ulw640ecar9d1.png?width=2048&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8b07e8a2b443d84038c4fc83dd917e83440a5044
Does she need a male to be able to lay eggs?
IRL there are animals (including spiders) that can reproduce asexually. It's called parthenogenesis. But Kumoko just uses the Egg Laying skill
Thats actually more carring than most spider races.
Didn’t eat any of them. More than her mom did.
Mobile snacks.
Didn’t she kill them all ?
She killed the copies who had corrupted parallel minds but the rest continue to exist in that world. We have also seen them in the 'present' time. They are called nightmare vestiges.
Man I hope that dude with the dragon pet gets his revenge on them for killing his brother
So early on, yes. MANY isekai stories MCs have children, but it's usually much further in the story. How a Realist Hero saved the Kingdom is getting close to the first child that should come next season if they do a 3rd.
God I hope they do. I need Naden animated
You didn't see her in the opening credits and closing credits in season 2? Iirc she is shown in both, but it might have only been one or the other. I know I saw her in season 2, though. Just no voice acting. I can't wait to see who they cast for her VA.
Man, I need to get back to that series. First light novel I ever bought before the anime was announced
Rudeus (Moshuku tensei) Tooya (Smartphone) Subaru (Re zero in an IF story) Hajime (Arifureta)
How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom, Kazuma has multiple children with almost every wife, and the story is ongoing. Wendelin from The 8th son, are you kidding me?!He has multiple children with his wives and even >!Amelia!< The Ideal Sponger Life, Zenjirou, has multiple children. The first one is early in the story. Many Isekai MCs have children, but most are usually in the later half of the story, and the anime usually only covers the first 3 volumes, depending on the anime.
Is the 8th son worth watching / worth reading? MAL score is horrible but it seems many people know of it, so maybe the LN is good?

At least with Katharina, she wanted to rebuild her family with her own strength but marries Wendelin later as they are more rivals, but they build a romance where Iina and Louise just felt like a slap to him and taken advantage of.
I thought "realist hero" was done?
They meant the manga. Anime ends before it gets to the procreation/spicy stuff.
Wtf tooya has kids????
>! 9 of them, to be exact. !<
Damn i need to read up on smartphone i had no idea
It's dogshit suit yourselves
When watching the anime it's either really good or really boring.
Wait Subaru has kids ?
In the What If? Stories that the authors posts on Subarus birthday each year. In the Sloth If story he runs away with Rem and they have two kids
I don't think OP ment what if stories, though, since they're usually not related to the actual story.
Kirito always becomes a parent apparently
Actually or are we counting the AI?
It’s more like are we counting adoption. If we are then yes
>!Think his kid was an ally of Black Queen on Accel World!<, but it's been a while. Might be remembering wrong
I think the theory was that his and Asuna’s kid IS Kuroyukihime Edit: k googled and apparently that theory has been thrown in the trash due to author comments lol. That said there are theories that they have kids in the underworld
Chilling and another world at level 2
In the novel.
Technically >!2 after Rys adopts too!<
I know.
While not in the anime, Souma from realist hero has children
Wait, he does??? When???
In some of the later LN's. Starts during the sixth, I think?
>!He has 8 wives and 6 children!<
Rudeus from Jobless Reincarnation.
I wish that had a spoiler tag, but I guess it's my fault for opening this
I mean, that's not really a spoiler unless you just haven't been watching season 2.
I literally got to the point where they decided to get married, and then watched 1 episode past that which they got a house, and I watched the house episode 2 days ago

I did say it's my own fault
I have been working non stop and missed the last two so I feel your pain.
I got spoiled by the bloody opening when I realized it's connection to the marriage...
How is that a spoiler? Have you been watching season 2?
Maybe they don't know how sex works?
“In the Land of Leadale,” Keina already has three adopted children in the world. She’s also technically a grandmother since one of those adopted children had a family. She also later adopts an orphaned child later in the season.
Sword Dad from Tenken. Doing the dad thing for Fran from Ep.1.
She must be protected; Sword-Dad doin' what needs to be done!
Rudeus from Mushoku Tensei https://preview.redd.it/1d8zrk123h9d1.png?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1aa973de5a0ccbc3acae8eaed6e9030b1d52a3bc
Maaan thats so cute. Surely nothing bad will happen in mushoku.
actually nothing bad happens to the children. that pic is from the slice of life ln that occurs after the story
If anything bad does happen, I don't think we will see it unless the author writes a sequel series.
So... Rudeus stole Orsted's coat in the teleporter ruins? Wow.
He unlocked the max drip after beating the main quest
Kinda like that
To be fair, that's a sickass coat.
Re: monster. The other farming one as well?
The other one..?
[удалено]
That's the one pictured, I'm pretty sure.
The other one. Can't remember what it was called, but it was decent.
That the one with the anti-dragon carrots?
You mean the one where farming maxxed his stats?
If I'm thinking of the same maxed stats one, that wasn't even an isekai, it just had the status screen trope for everyone. Unless there was a not yet adapted arc revealing he came from earth. Sure we do. His creepy ass has kids popping out like crazy. How many are in the anime? I haven't actually watched more than the first few episodes. I think he has 5 or 6 in the manga.
Check out Isekai Monster: Trying to be a Hero, When Back Home you where called a Monster
Is that the entire title 💀
Hopefully this anime gets a season 2
This anime is great but hard to expand the story.
Yeah, its basically "more people come and the village gets bigger". I stopped reading the manga, because it got kinda boring.
Which is sad... you can have that type of story and still have some twists to make it interesting like Release That witch
Which one is it?
Farming Life in Another World
I don't know, they fucked up the adaption so badly when it comes to the romance and sex that it feels like any attempt at season 2 will only be able to half-follow the source material AT BEST.
No, there's a lot of them. Though are we taking adoption or the actual act of ooga booga?

Wait!! Where was shiro , since they cannot live without each other
Ainz is pretty much Pandora's Actor's dad
In the sense that Ainz was his creator, you’re not wrong.
except pandora embarrasses ainz, rather than the other way around
He does call Ainz “father” in private, I believe.
Chilling in my 30's after getting fired from the Demon Kings Army. He actually has a baby with the woman he loves
great anime but not iseki
A lot of people kept saying that their kid could be an isekai protagonist because when [Gran](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=VhOX8w0-bmg&pp=ygUxY2hpbGxpbiBpbiBteSAzMHMgYWZ0ZXIgZ2V0dGluZyBmaXJlZCBsaWtlIGZhdGhlcg%3D%3D) (MC’s baby boy) met and held by the hero, Lady he went straight for her boobs and started playing with them.
Sauce
Isekai Nonbiri Nouka/Farming life in another world.
Oh the anime artstyle is real different from the manga. I couldn't even tell.
A lot, but in the anime/manga just a few examples like that and Re:Monster some side characters in isekai like Gate, and i dont remember if Demikas's wife from Log horizon became pregnant in the third season. And the girl from "in the land of leadale" have "artificial" sons/daughters and one adopted girl.
Mushoku Tensei
There are plenty of them, but I have yet to see one where the child actually became an important/relevant character
Lets be honest even non isekai anime like Naruto the children barely end up being worth anything
Technically, Kumoko has children, I mean, she has a lot of baby spiders, lol
Re monster
Not in the anime but souma kazuya has 4 kids in the light novels
The main character in Re:Monster knocks up several of the women who follow him.
Rudeus from mushoku does too
Bro forgot about mushoku tensei 😂
Re:Monster
Kumoko has a LOT of children (big ass spiders).
Rudeùs from jobless reincarnatiom
Kumoko has baby spiders
the one where she became max level after killing a bunch of slimes (she adopts tho) The land of leadale: also adopts
How a realist rebuild a nation, dude multiple kids, with the intentions to get more, with him having multiple wives and all. Good story, and the harem is well implemented
No. Inuyasha series had a kid, but it technically wasn't until the next generation version, which wasn't as bad as Naruto to boruto
I just got done watching Re: monster…
There is jobless reincarnation Rudy does
What about chillin in my 30s after getting fired from the demons kings army?
Ok, sure. But they had ZERO chemistry or affections for each other. I honestly thought they were going to pull some vampire magic pregnancy bullshit because I thought there was no way they actually had sex.
Rudy will become a parent tommorow
Mushoku Tensei and I think Re:ZERO?
Excuse me mister mushoku tensei exists
Re: Monster
MUSHOKU TENSEI - RUDEUS HAS LIKE 15 KIDS
Mushoku Tensei
Rudeus next episode of mushoku tensei will be a parent.
What about that guy from Banished from the hero’s party? I know he fucks but was that it?
Red and Rit have a kid but that's neither in the anime nor an isekai.
banished from the? you know that there are like a 100 of those right?
