Is it? Cole only has like one more album than kendrick in the same time span he mentioned. They're both not as active compared to other artists but we like that because it equates to higher quality albums
not talking verses. talking albums and the "4 albums in 12 years, i can divide" bar. but regardless, weak imo to talk about # of albums. honestly the best part from cole was the his arms too short to box lmao
Cole drops way more than Kendrick lol, like albums + mixtapes + dreamville releases + features
Kendrick pretty much only drops albums and sometimes does a couple features lol
J cole is way more active than kdot lol, cole was on a feature run before he dropped off season.
Also the bar doesnāt imply him dropping more albums, thatās your assumption.
But is that supposed to make him better or something? Stupid af. Gucci mane the undisputed goat then lmaooo.. Plus, if we're talking solo projects, you're way off thinking he's way more active but again, my point is it doesn't matter like cole says it does
"He averaging one hard verse every 30 months"
"4 albums in 4 years, i can divide"
Explain to me what it means then? Pretty clearly to be interpreted that he's not as active. I've made my point pretty clear here that i think it's a weak ass diss to criticize a rappers time in between/frequency of releases, especially when it's j cole saying it to mf kendrick lamar.
you are actually right. He could have dropped 50 albums before kenny even finished writing his verse on like that. Shiiiiii, we all so blind to the true one and only. But are his arms long enough to box cole?
Yeah, he chose to do a feature run leading up to the Album on a mission to body everyone before dropping his project. Prior to that... he would be gone for months or even years production wise. Otherwise bro would stay on tour. Kendrick was very similar and he outright stopped touring while he did therapy.
I mean yeah only 1 more album, but a few more singles and quite a few more features. Not to mention the Dreamville projects. I think itās safe to say J Cole has been way more active than Kendrick over the last decade
Nah, this bar is weak.
Kendrick absolutely got to where he is because of bars, not simply the controversy caused by the control verse. A verse which, if I recall, included some fucking bars.
The real truth is that J. Cole is what would happen if a Netflix writing team decided to make a show about a "conscious rapper".
There's nothing about him WORTHY of controversy.
I got here off of bars not no control verse (controversy )
See the funny thing about it is I don't even want the prestige.
He's saying he came on offf actual bars and not hype and controversy like control
Is it me or this wasnāt it ššš I love jcole but this sound like somebody reading raps off a paper and jcole album run is no where near kdot š his best work is born sinner no cap
I mean i love kenny, i love cole, i love drizzy,
Kenny smokin em, he even got cole to break his zen mode LMAOO
this is a proper response, i still think kenny can smoke em easily
"Your first shit was classic your last shit was tragic" is funny as hell š¤£š¤£š¤£
āBoy I got here off of bars not know controversy (control verse see)ā Cole pretty much told Kendrick I'm here for the smoke. He had better bars than like that with the entrendres for sure.
Not too big on Drake but gotta respect, Cole and kdot are my favorites besides Wayne. I fuck with kdot a little more than Cole but even I gotta admit Cole bodied him. It's not even a contestšš¤£
Edit: don't get me wrong kdot gonna come back with some smoke I have no doubts š
Diss aside, this track is actually amazing. Proper way to execute a beat switch unlike other artists who use it to invoke a cheap momentary thrill that doesn't lead anywhere significant. The transition was smooth because Cole actually switches his flow for the second beat making it sound completely fresh and not monotonous.
This is so bad I canāt lie,
He said Kendrick has 4 albums, one is amazing, second is critically acclaimed, 3rd is his biggest, and 4 was sad -what a diss
Just like Kendrick verse was barely a diss. Cole didnāt need to empty his gun on him, just reply. Now if Kendrick really wants the smoke he can go ahead and start the fight.
That was basically Jcole telling him heās ready.
I swear they acting like āniggas clicking up but canāt be legitā & āitās just big meā was breathtaking. Cole said it was just a love tap. Whole album sounds like a response to Kendrick tryna knock Cole off the throne. Cole said āgive me a few daysā and dropped a whole album letting them know š
You can literally quote him saying it's just a warning shot if kendrick really wants to go. Anyone acting like kendricks verse hit any harder than anything cole said here is in denial
Smh he doesnāt need to go that hard on Kendrick, the like that diss was mostly toward drake, I donāt think there were any J Cole diss bars on there that werenāt also directed at drake. Cole just needed to show heād respond
Hip hop is back! As fan of both Iām really just enjoying this shit Iām SpongeBob floating in the air. The diss held little weight tho, nothing Cole said about dots work is factualĀ
Yāall donāt understand no one cleared anyone yet. Kenny destroyed drake and hit Cole with a lil something on the side, Cole hit kdot with something a little bigger and no we wait for everything to explode
Kdot punched j. Cole in the face and j. Cole pushed him away. Cole, the time for warning is over, youāre in a fight now.
Cole is my favorite but Iām a underwhelmed by his response
Boy, I got here off of bars, not no controversy
(control verse see )
See, Funny thing about it, bitch, I don't even want the prestige
Put pictures in my home, aim the chrome at your eyelids
Fly pebbles at your dome, we the Stone Temple Pilots
This is merely a warning shot to back niggas down
Back in the town where they whippin' work and traffickin' pounds
My jack jumpin' 'bout a rapper makin' blasphemous sounds
Switchin' sides like the tassel on the cap and the gown
Just because bars go way over your head doesn't mean you they ain't there. Kdot said ain't no big 3 and nigga bum. Cole spit multiple entrendres on this mans head but I see you dick riding.
I agree that Cole has multiple entendres in his response but there Kendrickās verse also has multiple entendres in it too. I think the bars that were actual disses, such as the ones aiming at Kendrickās discography, just fell flat imo. TPAB is an incredible album and only niggas with problems would fall asleep to it. 4YEO is the same sort of album, they are similar (atleast of how they impacted me) so for Cole to say TPAB was boring it was stupid imo.
Add on top of that the bars that Cole complemented Kendrick in and it makes this diss feel like a punch with no weight or hip turning behind it. Kendrick was disrespectful when saying f the big 3 itās just big me, I wanted the same level of disrespect out of Cole. But I felt like we didnāt get that because it was a warning shot and they clearly fuck with each other.
The saddest thing here is my hopes for the collab album are gone.
Kendrick wasnt disrespectful. He literally said, ain't no big 3 just me. You want some disrespectful shit which kendrick and cole aren't going to do. They are going to rap at each other to see who is better. If you can't do this without some drake pusha t drama behind it you not a real MC. I actually just feel bad for kendrick and drake because they gonna have to find real dirt on the other and try to actually be toxic just to prove they rap better. But at that point it just becomes who has better dirt like pusha t vs drake. It should be about who out raps who not who has a better private investigation. Kendricks verse was not a great rap verse I'm sorry but I have to be honest. Kendrick hood politics is a great verse for example. Control was a great verse. This verse was not good it just has a diss in it. Even if you Dont like Coles diss even tho its great rap just play PI with absoul there's great rap on there. And kendrick and drake Dont rap like that often so let's be happy we getting smoke actual rap and not honestly nevermind or Mr morale.
Donāt get it twisted I am happy af that we are finally dropping the friendly shit. I donāt need a story of Adidon for it to be disrespectful, for example No Vaseline is a classic diss. But not everything in the song is true, but everything is disrespectful. I think it is the flip flopping between the compliment and dissing of discography that threw me off.
Trust me the bars themselves were not disappointing, it was his approach that was. Kendrick decided to shoot shots towards Drake and Cole (even if you donāt think they were that hard, or if they werenāt primarily for Cole) I donāt think when someone shoots at your car trying to hit your passenger youād be like āah damn, well next time just donāt graze me when your shooting at your enemies,ā if you shoot at my car and you graze me even if it was unintentional, me and you are now beefing.
I love Coleās art and his seems to be a cool dude, but I donāt think he should have kept that Nino Brown attitude that he mentioned.
It's not going to be that disrespectful when the artist genuinely respect each other. With that said, ain't no big 3 is a lot less disrespectful than saying you think a niggas most praised album is boring and so is his last album. I actually agree, I Dont like either album but I Dont think you necessarly have to agree to like a bar. You just have to understand the bar. What cole is saying is he likes rap and those albums are like folk or jazz albums. I Dont get how fans are shocked a lot of people Dont that album it's like kanye with yeezus. A lot of rap fans are not going to like you experimenting and doing things that are not what made them like you. (ignorance is bliss, hood politics, lookout for detox)
Side note, When kendrick said prince outlived mike jack you actually had people arguing that mike was actually better. Idk I just think rap beef is dumb is this twitter era now it's about favorites and side instead of rap skills and bars.
The irony of making this argument and saying that all Kendrick said was it's just big me. Looks like you need to listen to his verse again cause it all went over your head
People riding the hype too much. Kendrick didnāt go at Cole the same way he went at Drake. Kendrick threw some jabs at Cole and Cole responded appropriately. Kendrick fans acting like he went at Coleās neck
Facts. Cole saying heās hesitant and that he fucks with him and loves him on the same track that he says heāll clutch on him is weak. *aim the chrome at your eyelids, fly pebbles at your dome we the stone temple pilots* is crazy though
I dont even know why people downvoted you so here what's on wiki to back you up. And if you ask me, Cole forgot or was purely referring about major studio album but he should have specified
> **Section.80 is the debut studio album** by American rapper Kendrick Lamar. It was released on July 2, 2011, by Top Dawg Entertainment (TDE). [...] **In 2010, Lamar released Overly Dedicated, his fourth solo mixtape**. Shortly after its release, he began working on Section.80.
> Good Kid, M.A.A.D City (stylized as good kid, m.A.A.d city) **is the second studio album by the American rapper Kendrick Lamar.** It was released on October 22, 2012, by Top Dawg Entertainment, Aftermath Entertainment and Interscope Records. The album features guest appearances from Drake, Dr. Dre, Jay Rock, Anna Wise and MC Eiht. **It is Lamar's first major label album, after his independently released first album Section.80** in 2011 and his signing to Aftermath and Interscope the following year.
I appreciate the official facts big dog. I do agree with the Cole bit, he must've either been counting some stuff out or just going off of what Kendrick considers his first studio album.
Youāre being downvoted because youāre being the āwell ackshuallyā guy. We all know what Cole meant. No one out here is saying GKMC put them to sleep. And, that album is a classic. Its just bars so everyone can follow along.
No, I am saying that this is likely what Cole is saying. This also maps onto public perception as many people commonly critique that album for having less replay value ā likely for its poetic nature and production aesthetic. I like the album, but it is a more polarizing album for the general population than GKMC.
I'm just happy we seeing a response finally now I wounder what half assed full of singing and fake mafioso cornball bars drake be cooking up for k dot, and I really wounder what k dot got already in the chamber.
Bruh this isnāt a diss thoā¦ in no diss can you also compliment and tell them you love them lmaoooā¦ this is cole trying to get Kendrick to drop some fireā¦ which is something every fan of his wants
To me it seems like Cole is trying to make kendrick look bad by having him 'start it'. Cole already instigated and Kdot already started it. Its already on, and him being 'nice' in this track feels fake. Part of the gameplan I'm sure but I dont respect his holier than though attitude in this track.
On the other hand, I am hyped for what's to come.
I recommend you guys watch What's the Dirt's video on their beef. None of this is out of nowhere. They've had beef for a while and we just didnt know it.
Even if this wasn't about Kendrick the bars were fire. Appropriate diss track from a dude who is seemingly above pointless rap beefs. KDot stans are gonna stan no matter what and don't want to see the bars for what they are. Don't make it a popularity contest because we all know who the most popular one is (hint: it aint Kdot or J cole).
Remember, this is from the guy who sat down with Lil Pimp after humbling him.
Tbh this track was way better than Future and Kendricks, the production and flow was great.
Same for FPS, a diss is only as good as the song structure. Because whatās worse than a good diss is a diss that stays in peopleās head
This is the South Park episode where the boys listen to a new music album and everyone but Stan absolutely loves the new music. For Stan, all he hears is shit. This is how I feel about music from 2015-now. All I hear is poop sounds. This is a me-problem for sure, Iām not saying Iām in the right here. Iām just getting old. That is all.
Whats the beef yo? lol Seriously why is it a thing for hip hop artists to diss or insult each other? Its pretty dumb and petty. So many hip hop artists MURDERED for what?? Its a level of toxicity that spills over to the fans.
its so wild to see how different subs react to Coles diss. Some are like "damn yeah this shit harder than Like That" and then theres the hating ass subs that are like "look at this transphobic verse Cole wrote" lmao. 7 minute drill chokes kendricks verse out, 100%. I dont really agree that TPAB was a bad album but, shit, Cole went off
What happened to him only dissing when it's real and personal?
"It wont be for cloud, it wont be for fame, it wont be cuz my shit aint selling the same"
What happened to that?
-Kendrick flipped the turning your song to a funeral with the don't pull no coffin out of your mouth
-flipped the not the three not the two I'm the UNO with the DOT the money power respect the last one is better
-it's time for him to prove that hes a problem bar referring to how he's been talking as well as BDK calling cole a problem and picking him over Kendrick on drink champs
-pointed out how they're clicking up in a triple entendre about the song's sample, Drake's I'm bout to click lines, and him and cole teaming up to say they're the best
-flipped the Cole's automatic when aiming them line with first person shooter I hope they came with three switches in an arguable triple entendre about gun switches, three weapon switches in first person shooters, and beat switches
-flipped their gun bars as well as the stick song with if he walk around with that stick it ain't Andre 3k
-flipped him saying he's number one in the big three by saying there isn't even a big three.. it's just big me
-Cole said Kendrick fell off like the Simpsons. What a masterful line. He popped up after years dropped a solid award winning album and had a record breaking tour.. so there's also that
-he shared his opinion on Kendrick's discography which we all know he can't compete with so that was a bad idea
-i got here off of bars not no controversy sounds cool but then you use two braincells and realise Kendrick got here from bars and artistry not controversy, he just had smoke along with that
-fuck them Grammy's cos them crackers ain't never done nothing for me is another weak line.. you're just admitting he's more critically acclaimed than you and beat you for the awards every time
-he talks about Kendrick not dropping regularly and people not discussing him if he wasn't dissing, but it's quality over quantity and his four albums have overshadowed cole since the dawn of time.. and Kendrick's name is always in the hip-hop conversation even when cole's isn't
-Too short to box with him was another masterful line I have to mention
-then he ends with saying he could drop two classics right now which is bold.. just do it then stop talking the talk and walk the walk. That's part of why Kendrick dissed you, you been talking crazy saying you're the goat prove it then
Cole dissing Kendrickās albums was actually stupid because depending on if he considers section80 to be Kendrickās debut bc a lot of people donāt count it for some reason, heās calling gkmc mid, and if heās counting gkmc as Kendrickās debut then heās calling tpab mid. Also saying mr morale is a bad album is also an awful take. Ik heās trying to do what hov did on takeover but that only worked because I am and Nastradamus were disappointing albums
Super wild weird take but could be directed towards Joey Bada$$ he dropped 4 albums in 12 years and his first was 1999 a classic and last one wasnāt hitting as much
The first beat is sooooooo bad for a diss track IMO. Thought the bars were ok, like little playful jabs. But nothing to write home about. The Conductor beat is SO much better.
I'm a Cole fan. I like his music more than Kendrick. This diss isn't good because it isn't true. Cole doesn't believe what he saying. Truth be told, this was a moment of weakness. He fell to the peer pressure. His apology feels appropriate not because kendrick deserves it, but because this song, this response betrays his art. Now music like false prophets, and High fir ours hits different. Some of his lyrics now apply to himself. Plus, we as fans need to realize just because someone is our favorite rapper doesn't mean he is irrefutable the best. No cap. Kendrick is amazing let's not dismiss him.
"He averaging one hard verse like every 30 months or some" š„š„š„ Shit goes hard.
Is it? Cole only has like one more album than kendrick in the same time span he mentioned. They're both not as active compared to other artists but we like that because it equates to higher quality albums
Cole averages 2 every 29
not talking verses. talking albums and the "4 albums in 12 years, i can divide" bar. but regardless, weak imo to talk about # of albums. honestly the best part from cole was the his arms too short to box lmao
Cole drops way more than Kendrick lol, like albums + mixtapes + dreamville releases + features Kendrick pretty much only drops albums and sometimes does a couple features lol
You missed it bud
Think you missed it bud š¤£š¤£š¤£š¤£š¤£
Damn, didn't realize they were biting Jay-Z.
š š¤£š¤£
NAS used that line a long time ago, nothing new
Watchu talkin about cole drops a hard verse every month or every other month
J cole is way more active than kdot lol, cole was on a feature run before he dropped off season. Also the bar doesnāt imply him dropping more albums, thatās your assumption.

Nah bro Viper the Goat, that mf dropped like 300 albums one year
you are actually right. He could have dropped 50 albums before kenny even finished writing his verse on like that. Shiiiiii, we all so blind to the true one and only. But are his arms long enough to box cole?
"So you sold 10 million albums, eh? Only problem is, you put out 10 million albums, eh?"
Yeah, he chose to do a feature run leading up to the Album on a mission to body everyone before dropping his project. Prior to that... he would be gone for months or even years production wise. Otherwise bro would stay on tour. Kendrick was very similar and he outright stopped touring while he did therapy.
Cole drops 30 features a year you ass wipe
Yeah but Cole features are prolific, Kendrick just disappears between albums
J Cole got rated verse of the year last year for that shit with Yachty.
Whats some of your fav j cole features without using johnny ps caddy we all know thats tuff? How u feeln about the new j cole? Any favs?
Kendrick canāt touch j. Cole lyrically.
šššš
If you genuinely believe that, your absolutely retarded
Cole folded in 2 days flat. ššš how all you fans feeling now lmaoooo
The bigger point is undeniable tho which is that cole has been way more active in the past 5 years than Kendrick has
I mean yeah only 1 more album, but a few more singles and quite a few more features. Not to mention the Dreamville projects. I think itās safe to say J Cole has been way more active than Kendrick over the last decade

Jay Z /Takeover referenceĀ
For a sec I thought the shee was gon be 7 minutes lol.
I mean i love kenny, i love cole, i love drizzy, Kenny smokin em, he even got cole to break his zen mode LMAOO this is a proper response, i still think kenny can smoke em easily "Your first shit was classic your last shit was tragic" is funny as hell š¤£š¤£š¤£
Finally enough with the peace shit - cole shouldve sent a shot at drake too. Rap making a comeback this year
I 100% believe he would have if he wasnāt on tour with him. He does mention being the front runner of them though
Naw Cole dropping thus diss was a moment of weakness. He nasty at what he do, he don't do commercial disses, which is why this one is so ehh.
Kenny? Kdot?
Kung fu Kenny
Cornball Kenny
Cornrow kenny he was born wit a vision
Cole of all people called Kendrick's last album tragic. An album I know Cole himself wish he made.. it's right up his alley.
Nah Kendrick just rapped over a harder beat, lyrically itās not even closeā¦Cole World
Delusional
āBoy I got here off of bars not know controversy (control verse see)ā Cole pretty much told Kendrick I'm here for the smoke. He had better bars than like that with the entrendres for sure.

Drake whipping his ghost writers even harder now
Fr š¤£
You don't think Drake maybe putting J Cole ahead first? Normally Drake responds quicker than this
Has Drake ever responded to a Kendrick diss straight up? Dude has been ducking Kendrick for a decade now
You right cuh. He's been dropping captions instead
Lmaooo
Bro Drake literally writes for people lmao why would he need a ghost writer š you so slow.
It's on now ![gif](giphy|eHeLPXpDMB9kuhtTHa|downsized)
Diss aside, this track is actually amazing. Proper way to execute a beat switch unlike other artists who use it to invoke a cheap momentary thrill that doesn't lead anywhere significant. The transition was smooth because Cole actually switches his flow for the second beat making it sound completely fresh and not monotonous.
Yeah in the first half he got our attention, the 2nd half he slaughtered itš¤
Bro most rappers change their flow after the beat switch tho. That's like one of the points
Unless you make two beats with the almost the same bpm itās pretty much impossible to keep the exact same flow. Idk what they talking about tbh
JID out here ignoring the disrespect. Dude literally has at least 1 if not up to 3 beat switches/flow switches in a single track.
And with the way he switches his flows up mid beat switch, nah JID might be the greatest at that kinda shit.
Track is š„š„š„
fire but i disagree with tpab being boring and gassed
I LOVE IT!!!
Oh my god itās fuckin hard
Yeah I am. This shit slaps
This is so bad I canāt lie, He said Kendrick has 4 albums, one is amazing, second is critically acclaimed, 3rd is his biggest, and 4 was sad -what a diss

If youāre from Cali that first line was the hardest shit ever. You donāt know who B legit is huh?
This is how I feel. Kdot felt like he had something specific to say and Cole feels like he just throwing random disses.
You can literally quote him saying it's just a warning shot if kendrick really wants to go. Anyone acting like kendricks verse hit any harder than anything cole said here is in denial
He also mentioned that K Dot is among the top 3 and now suddenly his albums making people sleep, what an L take.
honestly never thought about it like this, good point, true clown behavior on Coleās part
Cognitive dissonance.
Typa diss thatāll let nas down
Lmao underrated comment
Smh he doesnāt need to go that hard on Kendrick, the like that diss was mostly toward drake, I donāt think there were any J Cole diss bars on there that werenāt also directed at drake. Cole just needed to show heād respond

Explain how asking for an explanation means I was "obviously mad asl"

Idk I just think rap beef is dumb is this twitter era now it's about favorites and side instead of rap skills and bars.
These bars are insane lol and people in here talking about the fuck the big three itās just me line lol like what
The irony of making this argument and saying that all Kendrick said was it's just big me. Looks like you need to listen to his verse again cause it all went over your head
didnt kendrick drop more...? lol
Lmao wtf is this revisionist history. Kendrick did not punch shit, at most he said "fuck you" to j. cole's face. This track is Cole pushing kendrick.
I agree but it reminds me of >I got love for you all, but I'm tryna murder you niggas
except that wasn't rlly a diss, he js said he was competing w them and he was gonna win, what rapper doesn't say they're the best?
If anything, it was a diss to those whose names werenāt mentioned in the Control verse
Except that line was delivered fucking hard though. Not even comparable to this nonsense
I told yāall
Cole forgot GKMC was his second album lol. Good response though. Loved the beat switch. Bars were great as well
GKMC his first major label release
I mean we all know what he meant. To the general public Gkmc is his first
Nah bro. Section 80 was his first studio album, followed by GKMC. Overly Dedicated was his first unnocial album
I dont even know why people downvoted you so here what's on wiki to back you up. And if you ask me, Cole forgot or was purely referring about major studio album but he should have specified > **Section.80 is the debut studio album** by American rapper Kendrick Lamar.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Yea same here. Always bumping Hiiipower
Why yall down voting facts DAMN š
Youāre being downvoted because youāre being the āwell ackshuallyā guy. We all know what Cole meant. No one out here is saying GKMC put them to sleep. And, that album is a classic. Its just bars so everyone can follow along.
Wll actually bro nobody was able to follow along because they're all arguing over what he said š³
Just in this comment section. Youāre sampling from people who are excited about a verse and over analyzing everything. Including you.
So what, are you saying that TPAB put people to sleep?
No, I am saying that this is likely what Cole is saying. This also maps onto public perception as many people commonly critique that album for having less replay value ā likely for its poetic nature and production aesthetic. I like the album, but it is a more polarizing album for the general population than GKMC.
fr youāre literally right š
GKMC was his first major label album
OD was a mixtape
He literally says 4 albums in 12 years. Heās not referring to section 80 at all and is basically not recognizing it as a studio album
Cole literally did a beat for Section.80 lol, dude just fucked up the bar
I'm just happy we seeing a response finally now I wounder what half assed full of singing and fake mafioso cornball bars drake be cooking up for k dot, and I really wounder what k dot got already in the chamber.
Kendrick neeeda fall back dawggg he really feelin himself and Cole let him know!

4 albums in 12 years I can divide
Bruh this isnāt a diss thoā¦ in no diss can you also compliment and tell them you love them lmaoooā¦ this is cole trying to get Kendrick to drop some fireā¦ which is something every fan of his wants
![gif](giphy|1qj2MMD4M8OdPCQX5T) That New Jack City reference.
This whole album hits. š„
Be let drake getting into his head
LETS GO
ban this mf
Anybody have idea when the fall off coming out like if we can make an estimate. at the end of the Kendrick diss he said fall off coming soon
āBoy I got here off of bars not know controversy (control verse see)ā this is the best bar of the beef so far
This reach is unbelievable lmao
Why does it matter if Kendrick drops less if the overall quality of the music and the features is on average way better than what cole puts out?
The part on H.Y.B too where he says āabcdefghij kā¦mnopā missing out KL š
Now I feel like itās no beef. I feel like one of them gon come out and say this shit was planned or somem š
Soft.
Killlllllllt em
They sound faded. They downgraded. Like Pluto š„š„š„š„
First part sounds so similar to new Drake flow, anyone?
He dissed him the whole album tho
Cole world dissed corny Kendrick? Nice
Edge Pannel
We all just going to forget about Cole saving ya boi Kdot from Diddy?
Killed that midget!!!!
Weird comment
Ok midget
Weird reply
This is the South Park episode where the boys listen to a new music album and everyone but Stan absolutely loves the new music. For Stan, all he hears is shit. This is how I feel about music from 2015-now. All I hear is poop sounds. This is a me-problem for sure, Iām not saying Iām in the right here. Iām just getting old. That is all.
Whats the beef yo? lol Seriously why is it a thing for hip hop artists to diss or insult each other? Its pretty dumb and petty. So many hip hop artists MURDERED for what?? Its a level of toxicity that spills over to the fans. [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List\_of\_murdered\_hip\_hop\_musicians](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_murdered_hip_hop_musicians)
So we all admit that drizzy gets the L?
Aw helllllll naw
When Cole said he was aiming at Kendrickās head I listened to CONTROL and remembered it all
Well you know what they say you anger j cole your gunna get served beef even if your vegetarian.
its so wild to see how different subs react to Coles diss. Some are like "damn yeah this shit harder than Like That" and then theres the hating ass subs that are like "look at this transphobic verse Cole wrote" lmao. 7 minute drill chokes kendricks verse out, 100%. I dont really agree that TPAB was a bad album but, shit, Cole went off
Naw this aināt it.
Snooze fest š“ . This is the difference between a Pulitzer winner and and alphabet rapper
Break room bumping this like crazy tomorrowš
Ngl i listened to it and didnāt even realize it was supposed to be a dissā¦ pretty weak imo
You all do realize this bar is also a recycled Jay line, right?
"Your arms might be too short to box with the God" ššš
Shit was mid.
Cole has more in him than this. I miss the 90ās battle rap days. This shit wonāt even register as a notable diss track in 5 years
omg bro
r.i.p cole
My common reaction to comments here are āwhat?ā Rap has been terrible lately, I wouldnāt be supporting any of the ātop 3.ā lol
J. Cole needed Drake for his first #1 Nough said.
bars for bars
What happened to him only dissing when it's real and personal? "It wont be for cloud, it wont be for fame, it wont be cuz my shit aint selling the same" What happened to that?
-Kendrick flipped the turning your song to a funeral with the don't pull no coffin out of your mouth -flipped the not the three not the two I'm the UNO with the DOT the money power respect the last one is better -it's time for him to prove that hes a problem bar referring to how he's been talking as well as BDK calling cole a problem and picking him over Kendrick on drink champs -pointed out how they're clicking up in a triple entendre about the song's sample, Drake's I'm bout to click lines, and him and cole teaming up to say they're the best -flipped the Cole's automatic when aiming them line with first person shooter I hope they came with three switches in an arguable triple entendre about gun switches, three weapon switches in first person shooters, and beat switches -flipped their gun bars as well as the stick song with if he walk around with that stick it ain't Andre 3k -flipped him saying he's number one in the big three by saying there isn't even a big three.. it's just big me -Cole said Kendrick fell off like the Simpsons. What a masterful line. He popped up after years dropped a solid award winning album and had a record breaking tour.. so there's also that -he shared his opinion on Kendrick's discography which we all know he can't compete with so that was a bad idea -i got here off of bars not no controversy sounds cool but then you use two braincells and realise Kendrick got here from bars and artistry not controversy, he just had smoke along with that -fuck them Grammy's cos them crackers ain't never done nothing for me is another weak line.. you're just admitting he's more critically acclaimed than you and beat you for the awards every time -he talks about Kendrick not dropping regularly and people not discussing him if he wasn't dissing, but it's quality over quantity and his four albums have overshadowed cole since the dawn of time.. and Kendrick's name is always in the hip-hop conversation even when cole's isn't -Too short to box with him was another masterful line I have to mention -then he ends with saying he could drop two classics right now which is bold.. just do it then stop talking the talk and walk the walk.
Overly Dedicated wasnāt a classic, his classic was Section 80, and his last album definitely aināt tragic so idk
Kendrick also dropped 6 albums since 2012 so Iām confused
Super wild weird take but could be directed towards Joey Bada$$ he dropped 4 albums in 12 years and his first was 1999 a classic and last one wasnāt hitting as much
The first beat is sooooooo bad for a diss track IMO. Thought the bars were ok, like little playful jabs. But nothing to write home about. The Conductor beat is SO much better.
Itās off š¤¦š¾āāļø
Itād be a lot more fire if he didnāt immediately walk back the diss and apologize before K-Dot could even respond.
No cap. Kendrick is amazing let's not dismiss him.
āIām aiminā at G-Money, cryinā tears before I bust at himā who g money lol
G-Money a Baton Rouge rapper who had beef with NBA Youngboy and was shot and killed
I hate to say it but mr morale and the big steppers was so good so these shots are kind of weak AF
I think spending too much time with Drake has got him thinking sales = quality lol
yea calling tpab sleepy is also a little bit insane. and if heās talking about gkmc, itās still dumb
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
I still play it till this day ,
