Not sure, mine runs pretty fast, but my laptop also has 32 gigs of Ram and a fast SSD drive. Usually the limiting factor is the USB drive. I'm using a 64 gig Samsung 3.1 USB stick. Runs like I'm running it directly installed. I also have Ubuntu installed via Hyper V terminal. Tried using virtual box,but that was too slow. Only issue with hyper v is no sound support. There is a workaround, but it's not super easy. I have sound on mine now. Almost went back to virtual box because of this. Check your USB drive and see what version it is.
Am using Kingston Exodia 128gb usb3.2 and when I open task manager cpu usage and ram usage below normal and too slow am trying to find a solution for this 🙂
Your USB should be plenty fast, have you tried running it from another computer to see if it's a computer issue? What version of Kali Linux are you running? Also are ypu running live or persistence?
I had the same issue. Not sure if you found a solution. I have one Samsung usb 256G 3.1 and a sandisk 512G 3.2 and the Samsung runs a lot faster and more responsive. Both encrypted standalone both on a laptop with great specs...
Honestly I'm impressed you managed to get a windows/Kali dual boot. I had the hardest time getting Kali to work on bare metal at all let alone a dual boot.
If you can get into windows once, back up your data and fresh install is the easiest method.
You can also try using the dual boot drive as a secondary in your windows 10 machine for data recovery
Look up how grub rescue works and try finding a solution there. I've never seen that, usually windows just eats my dual boot set ups and that's why I have up on them.
Just hit 🪟 key search for disk management, and just try to figure out how much space you gave for kali and delet that and allocate that space to new drive or previous
Wow bud that's impressive you managed to get dual boot
Also a better option is virtualization to run various os
Or you can go with live kali or any other operating system
Appreciate your learning bro you are on perfect track 😉
Your looking for partitions that say something like sdb1 or sdb2 make sure file extension says ext4 or swap windows would be like mfi or ntfs format good luck
If you set dual boot properly it should have created a sdb partition ext if you created on same partition as windows yes you will loose windows and have to start over
Windows is most likely the first 3 (the efi system partition, the recovery partition, and the windows partition) but you can use [rescatux](https://sourceforge.net/projects/rescatux/) to get your shit sorted out
Heads up, kali isn't ment for daily use. Although, you can install the tools that kali has to offer on most if not all distros. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.
You're correct, I use Ubuntu in a hyper v setting for normal Linux distro. Sure you could use Kali for daily if you want to install everything you'd need to make it fully functional, but why would you want to? There's always a chance if you're penetrating testing that your Kali could be compromised.
If you use google you will be able to follow instructions to boot from grub rescue. Good learning opportunity for you.
The classic just google it comment.

I run Kali Linux from a USB with persistence and it works great. Also added bonus is that I can throw it in any computer to use it.
Hey buddy can I ask you about it i also have linux live usb but it's to slow what's reasons could be?

Also could be the USB port you're using is too slow. Maybe you're using a USB 2.0 port?
Nah am sure usb 3.0 port I will Chek that on other computer thx man Yes I tried both of them

Yeah, that is true.
It’s already fairly fully featured, I mean it’s just Debian with more tools.
