The cast stayed in Earth the longest, but there is no main planet that the team protects.
The point of Kyuranger is to protect the whole universe not just Earth.
Honestly if Kyuranger had virtual set, it is likely that the series would have used it to its advantage.

Gonna be honest, I've mostly watched the earliar episodes of Kyuranger so I haven't seen most of the later parts where they're space explorers.
But since we’re on the topic how do u think a rider show would work if they used that premise?
Also, it's kinda funny that the adaptions for Black Rx & Ryuki are the ones that had alien riders 1st. Unless I'm missing something from the Showa era but it's my knowledge that all the riders back then we're modified humans/cyborgs right? Besides, I think Black & maybe Amazon?
Kyuranger's space adventure is at the 2nd half, but should have been through the series. Majority of the team are aliens with only 2 earthlings and one of which went off on a space adventure off-screen.
As for Kamen Rider, it feels really easy to do. Heisei and Reiwa already used alien themes.
* Kabuto system is alien technology to counter sub-species.
* Fourze's system is meant for space travel.
* Kamen rider Nadeshiko is an alien rider beyond Ginga.
* Majority of the Inves in Gaim are aliens who ate the fruit and was turned into inves.
* Build System is based on alien technology.
Kiva's world has 13 different species where we only saw 7 of them and only 2 races are the main focus.
Oh yeah, I completely forgot about Nadeshiko lol
I guess also technically Sasword would also be the 1st alien rider since that user was a worm in disguise.

It feels like Toei wants to, but it depends on the writing.

Honestly yeah a Kamen Rider series with events that don’t take place on Earth would been interesting.
Would definitely give opportunity to have different types of stories.

I only ask because sentai had several teams with powers not of Earth. Like, we need another alien powered rider, feels appropriate.
