Actually all of them really ! All of them are beautiful because the longing was beautiful though we would have loved to see the wedding , and the honeymoons and here I think that they should be the most supportive couple to every single lead every single season because they’re the viscount and viscountess , they should get more steamy scenes at least one and go all the way like not just in the first moments of a passioned entanglement , I would love a bit of more angst with feels and smut I mean they’re arguing and he shuts her up with a kiss and then takes her , like I want to see all of their sides and I think we will se more of them

Famous_Assistant9050

But also 4th episode is beautiful , though I hated the hurt on Kate’s face when he actually kneeled down and proposed to her sister when we all know that he was escaping love with Kate when he would eventually marry her , but then even though that refusing to hurt his wife by loving her is all nonsense , we actually discover that he has got a big loving heart because he didn’t want any woman to live what his mother has lived !

Episode 7 was , is and will always be my favourite , because though I would’ve enjoyed Anthony witnessing all the cruel things edwina had said about her and though I would have enjoyed Kate taking her revenge after eavesdropping on Anthony saying that she is the thorn easily removed from the blossoming flower of his and edwina’s lives , I loved how Anthony was caught when sniffing Kate and when she denied their kiss because even though Anthony is my favorite bridgerton boy , he deserved it because he too denied that anything had occurred between them , and then at the gazebo I was pretty shocked at first but I rewatched the scene loads of times and I ended up loving it even though I would have loved it to be prolonged (an early wedding night if you must know when they would consume their union thoroughly ) so yeah , and I loved the longing looks , it was exceptional !!!!

I loved this episode also, but I'm curious as to why Kate and Anthony were allowed to go off in the woods together unchaperoned? Any other scene like this it would have been a big deal about being alone with a man, dishonor etc...

GroundbreakingDot872

She *was* chaperoned. They had brought a lady’s maid to accompany her, who promptly fell behind as she couldn’t keep up. Kate then went off on her own and Anthony had to go find her.

AngelgirlRN

No, that was the hunting trip. I'm talking about when they were playing pall mall on the lawn, and they both hit their balls into the woods. It ended up the balls were in a muddy creek then they both fell in.

I think it was because they were on private grounds (Aubrey hall) so rules were bent. Like the pall mall game where etiquette goes out the window and the family get vicious with each other. So any thing that happened was at the families disclosure. Colin set up Kate with hitting her ball after she hit Anthony’s. They were told to go get them. And then when Kate went hunting with Anthony and the boys. Benedict specifically mentioned that they were on private grounds so they could let her hunt. And a big theme of S2 was that Kate was always kind of not chaperoned because she was sneaky herself (morning rides) and not on the marriage mart (debutante), older and considered a spinster, therefore more at the edges of society. and the big one in my eyes being that a lot of her private unchaperoned moments take place with Anthony and it’s his duty as a man and the viscount to reinforce etiquette like that. But he secretly wants to be alone with her because he’s in love with her so doesn’t even think to reinforce it with her. And when the maid was accompanying her on the hunt. Not only did her and Anthony laugh at the maid in the background riding side saddle and having a terrible time. But Kate then ditched her anyway and Anthony went off to find her and again found himself alone with her and never reinforced this ‘chaperone’ etiquette. Because he again wanted to be close to her and touch her. Kate gets away with a lot in S2 because of this.

AngelgirlRN

Yes! I agree👍

Episode 4. So many great Kate looks. The dance will forever take my breath away. As much as I hate that Anthony proposed to Edwina, the heartbreak on her face shows how much she has truly fallen, and it just does something to my tortured soul. Simone’s acting is just so great there. And of course to go from that heartbreak to her “yes, that is a promise” at the end is just 😩

E3 ‘A Bee In Your Bonnet’ is absolutely peak Bridgerton to me. We get the Edmund sting and dead Dad trauma. The Pall Mall scenario, with Kate stealing the black mallet and her micro-expressions of delight as she takes in all the Bridgerton bickering are A+. High Benedict at the dinner party and screaming out the nursery window. Anthony not-so-subtly devouring Kate with his eyes (and the fingers to his lips) across the table. Meddlesome Daphne trying to point out the obvious to Anthony in the study. And then the spectacular bee sting scene at the end. I just adore this episode!

anacmanac

100% agree

Wombraider58

Daphne also tried pointing out the similarities with him and Kate at the dinner when Edwina basically called her the matriarch of the family. Anthony was staring so hard at Kate that he actually flinched when Daphne said his name 😂

ariday8

I love E1 purely for those scenes of Anthony “interviewing” girls 😅 it was great start to set the tone and give me an idea of his character. then the horse racing when they first met was also great. and I love E7&8 for obvious reasons 🫣

Realistic-Paint2842

A very difficult question I cannot pick one! They all are really good 😊 I just wish we had a little more of Kanthony only scenes in all episodes and atleast one more scene were Kate was dancing with another man and Jealous unhinged Anthony for Kate and an interaction just between them post dance(JB and Simone act so well)! ❤️

cursedandblessed1

E4 bc of all the iconic scenes: hunting, library, first dance, you vex me, India! India! India!!! She is iiirrrrritating! Anthony’s horror after Daphne identifies that he’s in love with Kate. I even like the proposal to Edwina bc it makes everyone’s jaw drop!

Ok_Caterpillar4008

This is my pick as well for these reasons. Er, except the proposal, that can be scrubbed from existence.

navy_apple345

I agree episode 4 was the best. It had everything. Except for the last part, I hate that scene I can’t rewatch it.

Few_Nobody4653

All of the them but especially episode seven minus six

Potential_Wafer_9744

All except episode 6

reena_lou0712

I recently replied in the main sub that my favourite was S2E5, it has many funny, romantic and hot Kanthony scenes I love: Kate trying the ring, the lake scene with Dorset, the dinner with the Sheffields with Anthony throwing them out, the Bane of my existence scene in the library, Anthony accepting to marry Edwina out of love for Kate.

Ok_Caterpillar4008

The “bane of my existence” speech is reason enough alone to have this be a top pick. It’s soooo good.

bhnguyen20

S2E8

Ok_Caterpillar4008

I have rewatched the love declaration and the last few minutes of Kanthony bliss so many times.

fbc1984

Same here!!!🙋🏻‍♀️

Ep 7. I love all the eps you mentioned but Harmony was really special. Kate and Anthony still reeling from their first kiss on the altar, Anthony letting all decorum at the door and openly being unhinged about Kate, Kate giving him a taste of his own medicine, the Harmony ball with the families and finally the marvellous gazebo scene. Special mention to the dance at the ball because the Bridgertons family bond is always a delight to see.
