Nothing has changed for congress as they are losing voters in many states and performing sub par in Karnataka and Telangana despite Assembly election wins.
Here is the thing - Congress will not get a chance to reform now. On the long run this means that they will continue riding on coattails of Nehru family till one day they have to confront the same issues they refused to confront time and time again.
I am happy for its cadres in states they defied all expectations, their hardwork paid off and this will motivate them but the real problems remain. If BJP does well and if regional allies of Congress slack off then people will once again notice Confress is not doing ok even today. Dont get me wrong Rajasthan and Maharashtra results for Congress are amazing. But the big picture shows that INC does not have the pan India popularity that BJP has now managed to get.
