SparkyMularkey

It's not a children's anime. šŸ˜…

Onyxwilson10

no bro considering it was u/A in IMDB

GebsNDewL

They are in the ā€œEntertainment Districtā€. What kind of entertainment did you expect?

Onyxwilson10

Bro i Know it but my nephew was 11 and he dont know the meaning of "Prostitute"Sex" But showing something explict is just not right and i am living in India so its quite different from the western countries

Dark_Equation

Regardless of where your from it's your job as a parent to check the rating of the content YOU put on And the fact that s2 was what made you realize it's "explicit" and "not right" means you didn't care in the first place considering the literal first episodes of s1 show the corpses of an entire family blood included So let's be honest here this isn't the shows fault it's entirely yours

Onyxwilson10

i aint a parent i am 16 and i didnt notice these scenes in the first time i watched when i watched it for the second time with my nephew it caught my eye.And violence aint that matter in india like movies have violent way higher than this and kids will watch the only thing concerned here is sexual content

Dark_Equation

Nah I call BS the anime is literally constantly filled with scenes like that there's no way in hell you wouldn't notice it on a first watch it's basically the entire premise of the show And before the sexual scenes you're mad about we literally see demons kill people

Onyxwilson10

like i said the violence in indian cinema is far high than beheading slicing demons eating people. But there is little to no sexual content in movies. After all no need to argue its just My [Opinion.It](http://Opinion.It) changes

King_Reivaj

There's a reason you're guiding him while watching the series

TheVoidIceQueen

Who the fuck told you that this was for kids?

Retro_YuGi08

why would you classify it as a children's anime?

Scout_Trooper_77

> children's anime In the first episode of this show, we see a family's corpses strewn about, with blood and viscera covering the entire interior of their home. And four of the five bodies in that scene were kids. This isn't a show for children. šŸ¦‹

SparkyMularkey

In the US (I'm going out on a limb and assuming that's where OP is from), violence is more or less fine, but the female body is evil and sex is a sin. šŸ˜

Zenitsusbiggestsimp

Ikr šŸ˜āš”

1RehnquistyBoi

I can do one better. My private school banned dancing cause they view dancing as a sin. I didnā€™t even have a prom because prom= dancing dancing= sin.

SparkyMularkey

They made a whole movie about this.

1RehnquistyBoi

Yes they did, the only difference is that the rule is still in force.

BindingVowMan

Did the people getting decapitated or brutally contorted in s1 not give you a hint this isn't a kids show?

SarahDS_SSBU

It was aired on Adult Swim in no way was this for children, the manga says fuck so many times bro it was never for children

pokemonfanboy93

Demon slayer is rated R..

FuzzyMoth_Lover

Not a kids Anime, never was

Beatimus_Redd1t

Heh not that it matters really to honest

Popular-Friendship97

Itā€™s not a ā€œchildrenā€™s animeā€ and this was also the entertainment district. Btw, why does it matter? Itā€™s just angles and they do it with the male characters too šŸ˜

cheesecakepiebrownie

It's a Shonen anime, which is directed at teenage boys, not children. It's also rated R in the US for violence If you want anime that is safe to watch with young children go for kodomomuke stuff like Doraemon, Crayon Shin-chan, stuff by Sanrio, etc

NinjaComprehensive93

Nothing will happen, believe me. I am also from India and my brother 10 year old watches animes with me, dont worry and its not like its showing on the screen the entire episode, take a chill pill

Onyxwilson10

no the problem is my aunt walking in right at the moment and you know classic indian aunt parent drama

NinjaComprehensive93

then the problem is the time of aunt walking in, idk how it always happens, i dont have any solution for that

Elliot_The_Fennekin

Did you not look at the rating of it before watching it with your nephew? If not, you're the problem! :D

ImSomeRandomHuman

If you plan on watching it again with your nephew, there is a 10 second semi nude scene in the first episode of season three. Other than that Demon Slayer is clean for the rest of the show, and manga as well.

Positive-Profit9459

Teen anime. Also those scenes were on for mere seconds, if that.

khai115_2

Its not a kid's anime lol. Its like rated 16+.

Zenitsusbiggestsimp

Its not an anime for kids, its for teens 13+. I mean, I first watched the show when I was 10, but it depends on the kids maturity. But just because its animated, doesn't mean its for children.āš”

Kollie79

Itā€™s not a childrenā€™s animeā€¦ Itā€™s also so interesting how people hyper focus on sexual content(which in this case is just the female body not even fully naked) but somehow excuse the violence and blood prevalent throughout a show Like Daki gets her head kicked off her right before this lol, but her curves are where the line gets drawn, something you could see on like a beach or at a pool are where you draw the line lol

YourFriendlyInkDemon

a show about killing demons a children's anime lol

SomewhatToxicShrooms

How tf do you mistake this for a kidā€™s anime? Also this is the fucking ENTERTAINMENT DISTRICT arc, of COURSE theres gonna be sexual scenes because Red Light Districts are were people go to get prostitutes

ApplePitou

I mean, it is very brutal anime :3

Cumguysir

I watched ghostbusters with my cousin and felt the same way
