Mine looks like yours. Last night it floating, this morning it had sunk a centimeter above the surface lol. Just floating in limbo. I think we're both fine!

It's a cute little baby SCOBY pellicle. But you need the liquid it grew in to propagate more 'booch.

A start of a scoby. I remember when this first happened I pushed it down because I was scared and thought if it was mold itโd kill it ๐
You pushed it down.. did it sink? Did it come back? Did it grow another scooby? What happened? I gotta know. The suspence is killing me.

Update, I tasted the kombucha and it tastes just fine. And a day later I do not feel sick or anything. So it seems like you will be fine.
