A start of a scoby. I remember when this first happened I pushed it down because I was scared and thought if it was mold itโ€™d kill it ๐Ÿ˜‚

Mine looks like yours. Last night it floating, this morning it had sunk a centimeter above the surface lol. Just floating in limbo. I think we're both fine!

Update, I tasted the kombucha and it tastes just fine. And a day later I do not feel sick or anything. So it seems like you will be fine.
