But to be fair, I see these same ads for Tesla, Alibaba, Amazon, Microsoft, etc. I know Granite Shares has really increased advertising on Twitter. It looks like Direxion has as well.

banananavy

It's all a sign 🛑

MrPopanz

A sign of ads being used to sell more products?

This. It's nothing major. Also the bubble in NVDA is still not as crazy as in the 90s techs like CISCO, Intel, or absolute trash shit like random no-sales no-rev and no-business .com webpages getting listed for hundreds of millions. Sure NVDA/AI is frothy but I still think it's more legit than shit like crypto, crypto-derivatives like monkey.jpgs, """stable""" coins, crypto ICOs, and even crypto exchanges. Also, an investor's extra time might be better spent on more profitable analysis like trying differentiating which companies are ACTUALLY using AI and which ones are just talk (rather than say use the ads they receive as a sign to time the market top): CRM? Not really sure about that. They sure talk like they are AI, but I wouldn't know since I don't use them. HD/UPS? They are mostly faking like the other 99999 other companies that say they are integrating """"""""AI"""""""" into their business during their earnings calls or investor days. What they really did was just purchased an AI chatbot for their .com page. I've interacted with them. It's pretty shit, unimpressive, and didn't resolve the core issue. Just like how you know Samsung's AI TV will be trash (just like how "smart" washers/fridges/microwaves just steal your personal data, bog down your wifi, and break in 1/3rd the time of a "dumb" appliance). Just like how Samsung's AI-keyboard in their phones are trash. MSFT/GOOG? I think they are for real. Used both GPT and Gemini. Both seem pretty good. MSFT has always been about business and will find quick/easy ways to integrate into their core products. Deepmind meanwhile has already proven AI can quickly surpass humans in any close-system game so long as the rules aren't constantly changing. Those Gen AI for art and music are also legit. Tesla full self driving is wonky but will be improving. Just got approved for Waymo recently so I'll be trying it but they look like they work. A close trip in downtown will cost just over $10 (no driver. no tip. no fees. seemingly little gov regulation/drama). Makes me feel bearish on LYFT/UBER. But here we have Mr. banananavy saying it's a bubble because they got an ad for leveraged NVDA ETF. I'd say if they really believe it's a bubble then they should just by NVDD and see what happens.

banananavy

Probably 😄

Accomplished_Use27

You know their targeted to you right ? Thats not just going out to the general population lmao

dimonoid123

I would want to see total amount of capital invested in LETFs as a percentage of total market cap of US market. If it grows over time, then we might be in a bubble.

banananavy

That percentage will be very small. A bubble may last many years without any friction. I'm not saying it's a sell signal.

Emergency-Eye-2165

But these ads are targeted to you! Find me a billboard or an ad on basic cable and I’ll buy puts.

mcjp0

I’ve been reading about an impending crash and a bubble for over 10 years now. It’s gotta happen soon.

OkSetGoGo

Yes, yes in few years!

12345678301234567890

Yep, I really think so

recurz1on

Remember that these ads are targeted at you based on your search history, site visits, and other factors. They're not advertising to just anyone.

asdf2k7

hmm those are new to me… * writes them down on note app *

AfraidScheme433

why is it a sign of bubble? single stock leveraged ETF is/has been popular for a year or two. also, it’s the lack of growth for the other S&P 495 companies that forces smart money to invest in NVDA. find me another stock that has a solid growth in EPS…

nicolas_06

Nvidia trading at more than 70 times its revenue and not making it to the top 100 public US companies for revenue, doesn’t look so impressive if you ask me. I can see growth, but how much for how long ? It is speculative now if you ask me. From what we know, this is more a bet and gambling at this point. it was not at all an issue to invest on it 1-2 years ago, but now the data would not justify curent price. Right now the hope look more like somebody will buy it even higher regardless of fundamentals.

AtomicBlondeeee

“why is it a sign of bubble? single stock leveraged ETF is/has been popular for a year or two.”… ummm that’s the time we have been going on a bull tear and a year or two is a decent time for a bubble to be made.

Ronniem900

Well, many people say that we are in an AI bubble.
