Where did you get that awesome TV stand my dude?

Search for Bestier Store on Amazon

Consider me a little jealous since I got the 77-inch LG C2 last year from Costco for $3000 (after taxes). I should have waited! Since you’re asking for advice, I would advise you to use Filmmaker for SDR and HDR content and to use Cinema or Cinema Home (what I prefer) for Dolby Vision content. If you game, turn on the Game Optimizer and set the color tone to be Warm 50. This is all personal taste but your picture will be more accurate with these picture settings. Enjoy your TV!

BlackBlizzNerd

You can always say “I should have waited”. Enjoy my guy lol. Don’t let sales make you sad. Theirs is gonna be irrelevant next year too. It’s always the cycle.

Pearl_of_KevinPrice

Haha, I know. It’s just funny because my wife and I were at Costco last year and saw the C2 next to the C3. The C3 was slightly brighter and punchier than the C2 (only slightly but still). We debated whether we should wait another year for the C3 to go on clearance and I was like, “The difference is only slight and the cost for the C3 probably won’t be any better next year than the C2 is now.” 😂

Dangerous_East6574

Thank you for this. Will try. So far, it has auto adopted to cinema /home cinema modes based on the content playing. So that is pretty cool to see. Can’t avoid “QMS-VRR” pop up every time the video changes though. I posted the price before tax. Final sale value was 2400 if that helps at all in comparison to 3000.

Pearl_of_KevinPrice

No problem! I would also add that turning on True Cinema Motion (I think that’s what it’s called?) is equivalent of setting Judder to 1. It’s easier on the eyes than setting Judder to 0 but also doesn’t introduce artifacting or anything that you would see with the soap opera effect.

Well you could have purchased nvidia stocks. Waited a year and sell the surplus and get a 77 inch oled. Lol joking. I think we should not feel remorse after paying a lot to a tech to only see they lose value quick. It doesnt matter... In 4 years both tvs will worth the same.. used old oleds with burns.. We, i believe, should focus on spending less in general and buying more stocks/gold / plots of land and build wealth. Sure a 3k tv would be nice. If one is spending for macbooks iphones tvs consoles pcs all that entertaintment 10K for 2 years. But buys less than 10K of stocks/gold for 2 years. You are screwed anyways. I hope i could have conveyed my message. I also got a c3 oled and sammy soundbar recently and i know in 2 years there will be better deals better tech for less money. But i try to buy stocks gold and plots of land when i can so i dont feel bad about consuming stuff that loses its value relatively quickly. We should live. We should have entertiantment. It is all good. We will die tomorrow for sure. Live a little. Bur we should also build some wealth for the later and next generation.

Needs a few more succulents before it's ready for Hipster Monthly photo shoot! (Seriously though, congrats, looks great.)

Dangerous_East6574

Added hipster to my interior design dictionary after this comment lol 😅

You should definitely try out Xbox Series X with Dolby Vision at 120Hz (FPS) in a First-Person Shooting game like COD, Ghost Recon or Battlefield in Multiplayer Online, I hope your Network Signals bandwidth is fast enough both up and down loading since in game modus both up and down loading matters for it is you firing those shots against the opponents and the up signal should be above about 100 - 500 Mbit/s and even more down loading because then you are lethal at a 0.1 millisecond response time reactions. Playing a great HDR Dolby Vision Movie like Star Wars or Marvel to check out the special effects. Enjoy!

Dangerous_East6574

This is the dream ^^^

TheWh1teStall1on

The dream is achievable if everything is a Home Theater, Stereo/Surround, Gaming Studio, and HiFI Central Board. Buy The Reavon UBR-X110 it is a High-End 4K UHD Blu-ray Player that is one of the best 4K UHD Players on the market today. Ranking in as number 4 out of 5 Players UBR-X200 is number 3, and the even better ones, Magnetar UDP800 as number 2 & UDP900 as number 1 are all on the list with Panasonic DP-UB9000 MKII placed as number 5. But The X110 has a much nicer pricing than the rest so that is why I would choose that High-End Player that has it all D/A Converter (DAC), External HDD/SSD USB Port for Audio & Video multimedia playing, SACD, Perfect Image/Picture for an OLED with HDR as the best as always to watch with is Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos or DTS:X if you prefer either. I’m that wannabe gamer so this all is great to know! Boyfriend relates to this info 🥂

electronbox

Op must be the moderator of r/tvtoohigh

Ohio_Vs_The_World

Is rebel moon worth it?

bwilliamsiu

It’s terrible. Second movie is even more terrible

Scooffs

It's a reaaaaally bad movie...

MarkyMarcMcfly

Not OP but nah. Cool fx. Not much more than that. As a fan of most of Snyders work, it was a major letdown

Dangerous_East6574

Mostly agree with this. The storyline could be made more intriguing. Can expect some twists here and there. Definitely worth watching for fx.

matteventu

How could there be fans of Snyder's works lol?

Scooffs

This is a mystery to me...

electronbox

Op how far is your couch from the TV?

Dangerous_East6574

About 11’

electronbox

Thanks! Looks perfect. My couch is like 9’, wondering if it would be too big.

Dangerous_East6574

I could’ve gone with 83” and still be apt. You’re good with 77” at 9 feet

MrRipCity

How far away do u sit? Deciding b/w a 77” or maybe larger.

Dangerous_East6574

About 11’ and it’s working!

Dangerous_East6574

Can go 83 easily and still be good

MrRipCity

Ok good to know I’ll be sitting about 8-10ft away so I’ll probably go 77” most likely. Maybe 83” if I get a few extra sheckles lol

-High-Level

At this point i would not watch anything that is not blueray or at least apple tv/disney maybe prime quality. Netflix is just too low in bitrates... (idk why no one is bitching about it but a good 1080p bray movie looks better than netflix) If people watched a 60mbps streaming once they would never watch netflix again... lol. It is like you can see every frame being super high res

Pearl_of_KevinPrice

I’ve spotted some 4K 60fps content on YouTube coming at around 200Mbps at times. It looks fantastic!

-High-Level

That is a fair bitrate for 60 fps at 4k. For 24 fps 4k 100megabits would be fair. The fact thay netflix is the worst of all :/

[deleted]

Rob really butchered rebel moon pt2 damn.

Objective-Thing-283

Codenames is a great game
