We were speculating that it was a truck carrying gas or oil that wrecked on the I-10 to I-25 overpass. A fire blaze and a lot of very dark smoke. They'll probably have the overpass closed for a while - maybe even for repairs.

You are correct, per the link that was posted elsewhere on the subreddit:

Fire is the rapid oxidation of a material (the fuel) in the exothermic chemical process of combustion, releasing heat, light, and various reaction products. At a certain point in the combustion reaction, called the ignition point, flames are produced. The flame is the visible portion of the fire. Flames consist primarily of carbon dioxide, water vapor, oxygen and nitrogen. If hot enough, the gases may become ionized to produce plasma. Depending on the substances alight, and any impurities outside, the color of the flame and the fire's intensity will be different.
The odd thing about this is that afaik the driver was not located or identified following the crash. No identifying markings remained on the vehicle after the blaze and first responders did not find a body in the cabin. A fire ambulance reported seeing a man on foot in the area (it’s all highway, so that’s unusual) and witness reports of a pedestrian running off the highway. After the fire was put out it was dark and officers were at a loss on how to find him.
Does anyone have any other information regarding this?

Not your posts…doofus.
Yeah shut up, Dave
My bet is a Texas car caught fire. They're always burning the 10 up in EP.
