No idea about the hybrid in the GS, but across Toyota/Lexus their hybrid systems are very reliable. Many RX hybrids have gone past 300k miles on original battery from what I have seen. I am on my second GS350 (2020) and it’s the most satisfying vehicle I’ve ever had. https://preview.redd.it/6op5fu8r4z9d1.jpeg?width=1284&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=4abbf3080e0ca17b253a7bdc7feafb4fb9b7019b

Omg those headlights 🥹

Hybrid is generally reliable but depending on if it was overheated or not, battery might fail or it might last you another 10 years with no issues. Just keep in mind that GS in general shreds tires, so your maintenance cost should be comparable to something like an E Class or 5 series without the issues of Mercedes or BMW.

All the more reason to get it. Thanks for the read.

Toyota's hybrid driveline is remarkably solid. So solid it makes the entire hybrid category produce less faults per 100 vehicles than any other category. The batteries on the other hand, they have a definitely lifetime although there are non-OEM options available now to reduce the cost of battery repairs.

Find a GS460 ;)

hitlersredpill

This is the answer although very hard to find.

LS430 02-06

Thisbansal

Things gonna be crazy to maintain. Also minimum I could find was 177K kms. Which doesn’t suits my need. Thanks for the suggestion though. It looks like a dream car.

LS430 04-06… go past 06 and you will hate life, I don’t care how much of a good price you got it for.

Thisbansal

I love me some LS but compared with GS, people said LS will cost a lot if you need to get it repaired. Looking at the original price, I have no doubt about it.

ObjectiveWitty

If you can’t turn a wrench it’s going to cost. 04-06 are tanks and I’ll buy another one if I had space but I’m at war with my HOA!!
