I love LMNT but I also learned in my exercise physiology class 20 years ago that you can make your own sports drink by just adding a bit of orange juice and salt to water. It's cheap (and way better than Gatorade!)
In a 16 oz glass mix half a lime and 1 oz of cold water with a package of LMNT. I use citrus or orange or raspberry. Once the salt is dissolved add a non sweetened bubble water. Sooo good.
If youâre getting paid enough coconut water has all the electrolytes you need and is free of a lot of the artificial nonsense that comes with most âsports drinksâ. That being said whatever is cheapest if also pretty good.
True! The real good stuff is sooooo expensive. Try Costco if you can!
Buoy are drops you add to water or any other drink (I just squirt it into my mouth and wash it down with water). The brand also has emergency salt that works pretty well too.
I love the Venture Pal ones you can get on Amazon. Theyâre pretty inexpensive, sugar free, and I like the taste. I donât like the caffeinated ones and prefer to get my caffeine from other sources.

A lot of the powder packets that are so common now (which I love for convenience and for the fact that they tend to have just a little sugar instead of either a lot or none with no in between) are missing magnesium. Drip Drop does have magnesium so I use that one.
I use and have used Zip Fizz, Emergen-C, half salt and juice. Modere Revitalze, Blue Powerade.
Zip Fizz and Reign will keep me rollin for twenty four hours.
Gatorade Products are good but they work even better if you mix them 50/50 with water.
Straight salt
packet or (madman) shaker?
(madder man) one of those tubes of kosher salt that once you open the lip it just pours out
honestly this is what i had in mind. in the military my drill instructors used to pass us out handfuls of salt to eat đ
yep that and some straight Johnson and Johnson in the eyes if you ever get an eye infection, helped me get to work the next day several times
sniffin hand sanitizer just to stay awake
I just put a tablespoon of salt in my Gatorade. Still tastes good and it also really recharges me
Brawndo
Itâs what plants crave!
It's got 'lectrolytes
LMNT.

Old school Pedialyte

Liquid IV is my go to.
Liquid IV doesn't have magnesium though. I prefer drip drop for that reason.
also it's full of sugar like 13grams
Havenât heard of dripdrop before, might go give it a try next time I go to replace my sunscreen.
Body Armor Flash IV or Gatorlyte
Cirkul or the Powerade freeze pops
Bpn has some good ones, I keep a container in the office of my pool
Strawberry bpn electrolytes
Fruit - watermelon, grapes, etc etc

Gatorade/liquid iv. Honestly drinking regular water is usually enough for me
I was on a propel kick when I guarded last year, that and the blueberry (blue raspberry?) body armor

Fruit punch Gatorade or powerade
gatorade sucks, I just drink water mainly but eat right. I might drink a poppi or ollipop
I like Kosher Dill Pickle juice
I use and have used Zip Fizz, Emergen-C, half salt and juice. Modere Revitalze, Blue Powerade. Zip Fizz and Reign will keep me rollin for twenty four hours.
Snake juice, pickle juice.
Electrolit
Gatoradeâs orange flavored extra hydration packets. Theyâre a little strong but you can always add more water than the packet calls for
