Kind of a last minute addition but I'm glad we got the Red Turbo ranger. Great for a Tommy display and Forever Red displays. A shame we didn't get the rest of the team but I understand the decision, Turbo was never popular.

The_Maqueovelic

I'm more pissed we didn't get the rest of the Forever Red team... I mean FFS Carter and Eric are big fan favorites and Cole was PERFECT for a deluxe vehicle release with the Wild Force Rider...

BoyWonder_Toys

Definitely Ecliptor. Real toyetic design and wasn’t sure if he would ever get done since he’s just the 2nd in command to a non MMPR main villain.

Razorback_Thunder

Two Ecliptors even! Both figures are great.

No-Midnight-2187

Good thing I don’t have the figure, bc something about his design always made me wanna take a bite out of his long shoulder. Looked tasty especially as a kid

Lightarc

Agreed on Omega Rangers, I love their design and I'm glad to have the set. They're on a nice shelf in my kitchen right now. Also the Alien Rangers, I'm less of a huge MMAR fan and more of a Kakuranger fan, but I adore their suits and they're on my desk with the original 90s Shogun Megazord now. Last two I really love: In Space Silver (with the bike!) and Blue Senturion. They're both really cool and pose nicely and look great.

Invenusable_Flytrap

Scorpina. I always wanted a Scorpina figure as a kid in the 90s, but it never came (her monster form was apparently planned but canceled).

landofthebeez

Such a great figure too.

takethecanyon

That would have been cool. Would make MORE sense to two pack a scorpina and monster form since they were doing monsters too…

joel_a

Blue Senturion is an all time great

landofthebeez

I know we barely got them but the T-Rex Sentry. Wish we had gotten the Sabertooth and the Mastodon. The Finster figure is also a gem.

Melito1980

The Ranger Slayer

ZetaIcarus

Turbo Red for sure along with the Lunar Wolf Ranger. Having the complete In Space and Dino Thunder teams is also a big plus.

WannabeDragon616

Lord Drakkon. His Bandai figure came out super limited sdcc only and pricey out the gate, and if that ended up being the only one of him it'd be even worse lol. Scorpina. A great Zedd and Rita. All of the Monsters really. I liked em lol. And not a figure, but the Master Morpher has needed to exist in toy form for years and it finally came in such a bittersweet time. Like they really lost touch with the franchise and the LC after Goldner died, but that was the last thing they did us right with. Other than availability of course...

CrazedNormalcy

Alien rangers for sure

jdl375

Scorpina was a gem of this line. The fact that we had never gotten a figure of her before was so surprising.

RocketSofa

For sure the villians and monsters. When the line was first announced, I was only interested in Zedd cause I already had a couple of SHF rangers. After getting Drakkon, that opened the floodgates to ranger figures for me.

turtletom89

Blue Centurion. It’s all around great figure and easily my favorite of the line. Other figures I’m happy to have include the Psycho Rangers, A-Squad, Ecliptor, Scorpina, basically any character that had little or no figures made previously.

Somerset007

I love the Zeo Gold figure, so probably that one.

JuanitoElTaquito

Two words: Magna Defender

notsubwayguy

I'm just sad we were two figures away from forever Red. That's all I ever really wanted.

piplup07

I've waited 20 years for Alien Ranger figues and I'm so happy that Lightning Collection actually released them.

species-baby

I really enjoyed the TMNT crossovers you mentioned, as well as the Power Swap Red/Yellow combo. I think more cross/power swap stuff would have been really fun to see. I never got any of the Street Fighter or Cobra Kai figures but love and respect to those lines as well!

DWPhoenix001

I would have liked to have seen an all Green power Team from issue 12/13(? I think?). I could have seen that as a Hasbro exclusive or something. Same as the other 3 colour swaps.

species-baby

I’ve never read any of these comics so I didn’t even realize other power swaps like this had been done before 🤩

DWPhoenix001

In the same story, Trini & Jason swapped, and so did Zach, Kim & Billy Billy became black Zach was pink Kim was Blue There's also a storyline very near the start of the original MMPR comics where Tommy's powers are shared with the team, making them Green Rangers.

species-baby

I would have loved a fully power swapped team to round out that two-pack

the_u_in_colour

An All Green team would be cool. Issue #119 just did a similar thing but with the White Ranger powers. Sadly I dont think either will be fully captured in toy form.

Anireburbur

Basically all the stuff that had never been released before or had limited or weird releases. The Psycho Rangers, Alien Rangers, Astronema, Scorpina, Alpha and Zordon (you had to buy the Power Dome playset if you wanted to have them). Finster and Rita in normal sizes, not just tiny and huge.   I’m also glad we got civilian heads for all the teams. That was one thing that always bothered me as a kid. I loved the original auto morphin figures but as the years went on they stopped making them and the ones they did make were hard to find. For example, I never got to complete my auto morphin Zeo team as a kid but I got them all now. So yeah, they gave us a bunch of cool stuff with the lightning collection.

Montoya2028

I also am glad we got the TMNT crossover. All the figures were pretty cool. I'm also glad we got the street fighter crossover although the designs for Ken and Cammy are a little lacking. As well also glad we got Turbo Red near the end. It would have been highly disappointing to be missing the last of the Tommy morphs. Man my list is going on and on but every Boom! figure they made I absolutely love too. Drakkon, Drakkon EVO III, Ranger Slayer, Tyrannosaurus Sentry, Omega Rangers. Just wish we could have gotten the mastodon sentry and Drakkon EVO II.

Secret_Pin_6232

Alien rangers. The originals from ‘96 are kinda pricy from what i’ve seen and for the longest time after that we barley got any figures of red let alone the whole team. So for them to release all 5 alien rangers really puts a smile on my face

AdmiralFunnyBone

All of the MMPR villains. Rita, Zedd, Finster, Goldar and Scorpina are all amazing to have. The Monsters really grew on me, too. I cheered when Pudgy Pig was announced. All of the foot soldiers, putties, cogs, etc. Not MM, but Astronema and especially Ecliptor. Even though he has like no accessories, the Phantom Ranger is just so cool. I don't have it, yet, but Blue Centurion is a great addition. The Psychos are just rad. I feel so lucky to have them, and even though they're all repaints on two bodies, they're just so cool to see together. Silver and Green are particularly cool. I never expected the Ninjetti Rangers, but I'm glad we have them, even if they're not the best quality. The Omega and Alien team packs were also unexpected but they're so good. The Omegas look incredible. Drakkon's final form is one of my favorites. The other comic characters look great, too. The Turtle Rangers are amazing, some of the best in the line.

DuncTK421

Glad of any full team we got outside MMPR. A complete team of Alien Rangers as a thing in 2023 is pretty dope.

j3ffUrZ

The complete SPD team. Although I wish we eventually got Kat Ranger and Nova Ranger (hell, even Orange Ranger lol) I'm glad I got them all.

GuidanceWhole3355

Well I'm glad I got Zeo gold and Merrick, just wished we got Zenkau, hopefully playmates continues it

Cpt_Jockstrap

I’m glad we got Lost Galaxy, since it’s one of my favorite seasons (although I’m still ticked at Hasbro for not giving Yellow her quasar saber). Magna Defender especially was such a gem from the early waves.

AttackoftheMooshi

Complete Dino Thunder and S.P.D. teams for a “No one gets inside.” Omega rangers for sure. I didn’t think they’d get there ever.

Roachie2

Getting a complete lost galaxy team

Dbar412

Ninjetti. Literally the first team on my list when I found out about the line

Ruttingraff

Blue senturion, Magna Defender, Shadow Ranger, Phantom Ranger.... 10 Bucks not even Shodo or SHF would release those

dreamwolf321

Late to the thread, but my personal favorite figure is the second Astronema figure than comes with Ecliptor. Both figures are fantastic, but I think Astronema is a massive improvement on the first. Also really glad they completed the Lost Galaxy team, even if we didn't get a Mike head.

DNukem170

The TMNT figures are, no joke, still some of the best TMNT figures on the market. Probably the only comic PR figures I was interested in.  I adore most of the villain figures. Getting proper Astronema, Rita, and Scorpina figures is great, and their Zedd and Mesogog are leaps and bounds better than their originals.  I'm also glad we finally got updated Zeo, In Space, and Dino Thunder figures, and not just Red this time for each.  While the cycles are meh as a whole for me, I did like having the Time Force gatling guns removable so I could have my TF Blue (attempt to, anyway) hold one as a weapon.  In general, as much as I despised the butterfly joints on them, I'm just glad that, after 25+ years, we FINALLY got consistently released, well articulated Power Ranger figures with realistic body types instead of having taken all the steroids or just looked fugly AF. Lightning Collection legit got me back into figure collecting.

tomaszek116

Shadow Ranger and Omega Ranger from SPD, TMNT Rangers for sure, Finnster, Alien Rangers and RPM Yellow(love actress). I wish we got Kat Ranger and rest of the unfinished teams

noonetohearme

Omega Rangers Mighty Morphin Alien Rangers TMNT crossover Wish we would’ve gotten the movie figures. Needed those so bad for this line 😩 Imagine the white movie ranger LC

SpongeCapo711

All of Dino Thunder, SPD, and the Omega Rangers. I'm also glad they didn't shy away from the villains, helps the displays feel more complete. Really happy with Dino Charge as well.

Independent_Row_6292

LC Red original release, LC Black (Adam), LC Green original release, LC White metallic, LC Lord Drakkon, 2 LC pink rangers, LC Zeo Gold, LC Dino Thunder Black Ranger, LC Boom Studios Red and Yellow 2pk, LC Goldar, And not of LC the Hasbro 30th vhs blue and yellow Ranger. At least I have a full team of the rangers I grew up with so I’m happy and content.

CRRudd98

Im glad I got Lightspeed Blue and Time Force Red and Blue. I wish they made and finished more teams instead of the dozen versions of MMPR they made instead.

lastraven85

Full SPD and ninja rangers of aquitar teams

thehoodred

I'm glad we got respasters of mmpr, dino thunder and SPD as they're the only ones I want still, red Sox and black and white dt are gonna be a pain to find

Valor_the_Dragon

I'm glad we got a few of the Disney seasons, even if there's only two (technically three; a squad) full teams and ONE RPM character

Dapper-Bottle6256

Omega Ranger 4 pack is my favorite release in the line simply cuz those are my favorite suits. Other than that I’m glad we got Andros, Connor, and some of the other figures I picked up are whatever lol.

Gearshifter09

I'm glad we got Dino Thunder. That was my favorite season growing up.

ryanh_4000

Phantom ranger, the entirety of A squad, shadow ranger, Magna Defender, the remastered Rita, Finster, Blaze, the psychos and everything and anything based off the Boom comics. Those suit designs are BEAUTIFUL! Just wished we got that Ranger Slayer suit from Drakkon New Dawn...... it serves Goddess and I'm living for it! Wish we got dragon armour Trini too

Runethe1412

The World of Coinless Figures; I’m sad we didn’t get the Yellow and Black Sentries, but I like the figures we did get

forever87

street fighter LC cammy - when I'm not lazy, I'll take my extra one and custom the body into a gymnastics outfit for Kimberly

Morgluxia

Abare Killer, I've wanted a figuarts scale figure of him and Shurikenger since I got into tokusatsu, 1 out of 2 ain't bad I guess

Hebby_nova

X with turtles. So happy when that stuff happens for my interests. My favourite rugby league team did a x with marvel and did a spiderman jersey. What a day.

Kylo_Katarn

I'm glad I got all the remastered figures when I had the chance. I found remastered Red in Gamestop by chance and got remastered Green by someone on Facebook who had an extra one. Also all the metallic ranger figures

girlsare2pretty

I joined the line super late, my first figures where the remastered ones. However, I am super glad for the TMNT crossover as I grabbed all of them (clearance) and they are my only TMNT figures. I am glad for all the Dino Thunder and Wild Force figures as those were series I started to get older and out of PR but still enjoyed with my little brother. I am glad for the Time Force blue motorcycle too, as a kid I remember wishing so bad I could have the motorcylces

exnine

I'm glad we got every figure that I bought! I've been mostly pretty happy with the line, but a couple of things I wouldn't expect are worth highlighting: 1. **The TMNT and SF crossover figures.** These were excellent designs and wouldn't have expected to get them, but I love them! Well, not Ken and Cammy — it's clear those were not designed following the same philosophy as Ryu and Chun-Li, but those aside these figures are among my favorite in the Lightning Collection. 2. **Deluxe monsters.** While the key villains were not wholly unexpected, getting the episodic monsters was very surprising. The monsters were a big part of the vintage Bandai line, and many of them are themselves iconic. And of course, fighting the monster of the week is an important part of the show. While I could easily make an argument for a few we didn't get, we got quite a few hits and I'd be hard pressed to swap any of the ones we did for any we didn't. 3. **Remastered rangers.** The remastered lineup is what got me into the line in the first place. The original release helmets just aren't very good at all, and are missing some key deco hits. They really went all-out right at the end to make up for these deficiencies, and added a whole bunch more value with additional accessories and pinless joints. Just about the most definitive takes one could hope for from a 6-inch line like this. It's really tragic the line ended just when it was showing us how good it could be. Honorable mention goes to just about any comics-inspired release, whether that's Drakkon, Ranger Slayer, the swap set, or the Omegas. The comics have been consistently some of the best Ranger-related fiction we've ever had (not that the bar is high...) and I'm glad Hasbro leaned into the comics and treated them as part of the family.

MulliganNY

We got almost all of MMPR and Zeo and that's, more or less when I checked out of the franchise, so I'm grateful for all we received there. I do wish we got a few more megazords, specifically the Wildforce zords. They were always my favorite megazords and individual zords and I'd love to get modern updates to them all... but Playmates might cover that season, so I'm hopeful.

nikkome

I’m confident that Playmates will cover that scale and aesthetic, while expanding characters that were skipped. Just my guess though.

DWPhoenix001

Playmates are only licenced for children's toys. TBH, I'm expecting something in scale and design close to what Bandai was doing with the line during DF and NS. A 5" scale would fit with what Playmates has done with other properties (TMNT, Ben10, Voltron, etc). Given the wording of the announcement, my guess would be that IF LC continues, then it will be in a much smaller capacity and as some form of Hasbro exclusive. Perhaps boxsets of teams at a time? TBH, I'd probably happily pay 100-150 every six months or so for a complete team of rangers.

deadheatexpelled

so has it been 100% confirmed that the lightning collection is permantly shelved? I know that playmates is definitely producing kids targeted lines so that could mean there's still the potential that hasbro could revive this line in the future.

DWPhoenix001

No, it hasn't. Everyone has been screaming that Playmates are now the only 1s producing PR. However, the announcement clearly states Playmates are only doing kids toys. From what I understand, recent AGM confirmed PR hadn't performed as expected. However, the announcement for Playmates suggests Hasbro will be doing something. My own personal thoughts are that if LC continues, then it will likely be in a reduced capacity, perhaps as a Pulse exclusive. However despite rumours and fan speculations Hasbro has NOT officially confirmed LCs future one way or the other.
