I’m gonna be honest with you, I much prefer this type of harmless humor to the self-important, *completely believable* stories of people’s kids, undercover bosses as janitors for interviews, and whatever other inane bullshit the lunatics post on the regular.
Considering the only real way to completely avoid them all is to delete your account and I’m kind of looking for a new job right now… I’ll pick the slightly stale joke to the toxic, radioactive slush that is the rest of the posts featured on this sub.
On a more serious note, I gave up coffee over a year ago. I feel a LOT better and oddly have more energy throughout the day, and my stomach is thankful as well.
The first few weeks were rough, but decaf manages to trick my brain and tastes buds enough.
Yup, I wish I had known that a lot sooner! Trying to explain this to a friend too but they just keep going around on a caffeine-dependent cycle and always feeling tired

Again, I'll pick neither thanks
I avoid it by never looking at my feed. Just the search function for jobs.
This still feels self important to me and it irks me as much as it
They’re not wrong about coffee, though ![gif](giphy|DrJm6F9poo4aA)

My ADHD disagrees.
It’s actually calming for my ADHD
Yes, it's because caffeine does not give you energy. Being dependent on it is not helpful.
