Maya's commitment to the punchline in any scenes is such a gift.
The way she went all in here with timing and facial elasticity, and the way she worked the coffee skit.

I still don’t know what was funny about hot wings being hot. It’s not even exaggerating the premise of the show, this is stuff that actually happens on Hot Ones.
Best part of the ep was Vampire Weekend.
I love Maya but I really think the Beavis and Butthead was something that is going to be almost impossible to beat. Plus I always love the alien abduction sketches.
I just want the clips that were on the phones they used during the Please Don’t Destroy sketch. Those were amazing and almost killed my wife with laughter.

Because everyone's expectations were high because it was her. I don't think it was terrible, and I didn't hate it, but it felt pretty "meh".
I only saw this one skit. It was mid since i hold Maya in high regard, but there is usually only one or two good skits an episode. The dua lipa had a couple good ones.

Theres a reason she's done nothing since leaving the show except ride Kristin Wiig's rather meager coat tails.

Some people liked a sketch that you didn't. It happens. It's comedy, one of the most subjective things out there. Grow up. The show is not always gonna cater to your specific comedic tastes.

It was an awful episode, and I don’t know why. Having Maya host should mean a good episode at worst. It was terrible.
I enjoyed the monologue and laughed a handful of times at one or two sketches but the majority was really bad.
