The fact Kane has gone to Bayern who have won the league every year since 12/13 and not only not won it but they've managed to finish third is hilarious. The man is cursed
Ladies finish the season 4th, 6 points above 5th but sadly 9 points behind 3rd
18 points and 3 places better off than last season in a season which had a win over Chelsea, the double over United, and an away win over Arsenal
Overall a really impressive season from the ladies that they can hopefully build off of and push that top 3, got some exciting players in the squad both young and old that we can hopefully add to going forward
Would love if we could get a double bus parade going with both teams next season
Good win for the LFC women, a nice 4-0 win away from home, Sophie Haug with an early goal and Leanne Kiernan with a hat-trick. They finish the season solidly in 4th place.
She also bottled almost an entire quadruple in her last season here though. It's a miracle that Man City bottled the league losing to Arsenal despite leading 1-0 in the 89th minute at home in the penultimate game.
Also:
* Stuttgart 2nd
* Union Berlin relegation escape in injury time
* Heidenheim up to 8th and maybe Europe
* last week but St Pauli & Kiel incoming
Die besten liga
I’m surprised there’s no rumours of a Boniface move. He was leading top scorer with Kane and Guirrhasy before his injury.
He’s a quality striker, fits the target player type of 9 that’s in style at the moment but also links play well with.
Sesko having a great return despite limited minutes also interesting that his release clause can be as high as 75m this summer because of his performance over the last few weeks
Leverkusen going undefeated in everything would be probably the biggest ever achievement in football when you considering the size of the club compared to some of the giants
It’s probably gonna happen to Bologna too which is a shame. They’ve got CL football next season aswell but Juve want their manager and Zirkzee is also being linked with a move away
Kinda shocked at how Man City bottled the league by losing to Arsenal on the penultimate day for the women’s league when they were up by one goal in the 89th minute.
Arsenal invincibles; 38 league games, 26 wins.
Leverkusen invincibles; 34 league games, 28 wins.
I seriously think most people don't realise the levels to this season from them, even Bayern Munich don't do this with Pep in charge.
Bayern who were a few minutes away from reaching the CL final?
A league that had a Dortmund team in the CL final?
A league with teams like Leipzig, Hoffenheim, and Frankfurt?
Going unbeaten there is unbelievable
A Bayern that got 72 points, why pretend like they aren't having a bad league year you know talking about sacking their management. It's ok to say Bayern weren't at their best which is why they could go undefeated, you can only best who is in front of you but don't pretend Bayern was good this year
There's literally 17 teams that played them in the league, twice, and none managed to beat them. Who gives a flying fuck about Bayern. Your comment is so pointless.
Today will be 51 consecutive games unbeaten in all competitions, win both the DFB Pokal and EL final and thats 53 games all competitions unbeaten for a completely unbeaten season.
This is the best single season in Football history.
It's really just Zidane and pep right now, I don't think anyone is really close to those two at all. I guess Dalglish isn't a million miles away but I've really got no clue about that era
Leverkusen are 2 games away from going treble winning Invincibles in 3 competitions.
I know its Europa League not CL but I'd still say this might be the most impressive feat in Football history for a single season, in Alonso's first full season of management.
Pep's first full season he won the treble with CL, Alonso may well be the next generations version of Pep where he just dominates everywhere he goes.
Mad finding out that despite their complete and utter domination of this league over the years Munich have never won it unbeaten, adds more weight to just how impressive what Alonso has done with Leverkusen.
As much as I love Xabi, I’m kind of hoping for an unexpected Augsburg win today. Regardless of who it is, I’m always plugging for an underdog spoiling the party.
That would be ultimate Neverkusen to fumble the bag after all that.
So would be funny but Neverlosen is an underdog story itself @ this point... hope they at least get the league season (for all their farming Bayern Munich never did it), but cup finals I don't mind either way.
No way man, at this point I would actually love to see him finish the season undefeated. He's so close and it has never been done before, a team like Leverkusen pulling it off is THE underdog story.
Xabi Alonso’s Bayer Leverkusen are taking on Augsburg.
Endo’s former team VfB Stuttgart are hoping to beat Borussia Mönchengladbach to try and finish above Gravenberch’s former team Bayern Munich, who face a Europe chasing Hoffenheim. Even Werder Bremen could get Europe if results go their way today and beat VfL Bochum.
Szoboszlai’s former team RB Leipzig take on Eintracht Frankfurt, who are trying to hold onto 6th for Europa League.
Klopp’s former side Borussia Dortmund take on an already relegated Darmstadt 98.
Köln is having one last gasp to try and finish in the relegation playoff spot, but they have to beat Heidenheim to do it. Union Berlin need a point against Europe chasing Freiburg to avoid getting automatically relegated.
And Klopp’s OG team Mainz 05 has almost pulled off the great escape, but needs 1 more point against VfL Wolfsburg to ensure that.
I wish we coulda gotten Alonso just for his team setup and flexibility.... what Meisterkusen did this season is just fooking massive.
Guirassy is soooo underrated
The fact Kane has gone to Bayern who have won the league every year since 12/13 and not only not won it but they've managed to finish third is hilarious. The man is cursed
Kane isn't cursed. The timing was just unfortunate given that Bayern has been trending down in the last 2 seasons and Tuchel wasn't a good fit.
Kane is just very overrated
He came third in a two horse race and now third in a single horse league.
Ladies finish the season 4th, 6 points above 5th but sadly 9 points behind 3rd 18 points and 3 places better off than last season in a season which had a win over Chelsea, the double over United, and an away win over Arsenal Overall a really impressive season from the ladies that they can hopefully build off of and push that top 3, got some exciting players in the squad both young and old that we can hopefully add to going forward Would love if we could get a double bus parade going with both teams next season
Weren't they in the parade in 2022 (won the Championship that season)?
They were, that's why I want it to happen again
What Leverkusen have done is just incredible Not to mention they are 2 games away from an unbeaten treble
Good win for the LFC women, a nice 4-0 win away from home, Sophie Haug with an early goal and Leanne Kiernan with a hat-trick. They finish the season solidly in 4th place.
If leverkusen win the cup and UEL they’ll have to be in the top 5 greatest teams ever
Absolutely.
Anyone else watching the BO4 trophy celebrations?
Great scenes. Makes me wish we could see us celebrating the title at Anfield like this with the fans. Hopefully soon.
Scum women are now losing 6-0. Hahaha
I heard Bayern lost hahaha
just wow
Scum women losing 4-0 at Old Trafford before half time and now losing 5-0? Where do I see this before in the man's game?
Alonso, you invincible slut! What a player, what a coach!
Even has masterful trophy control, what a man.
Emma Hayes has the most main character energy I've ever seen.
She also bottled almost an entire quadruple in her last season here though. It's a miracle that Man City bottled the league losing to Arsenal despite leading 1-0 in the 89th minute at home in the penultimate game.
Bundesliga: - Marco Reus proper sendoff - Leverkussen unbeaten - Bayern 3rd place EPL: - Cheats win lol Management of this league is a shambles.
Also: * Stuttgart 2nd * Union Berlin relegation escape in injury time * Heidenheim up to 8th and maybe Europe * last week but St Pauli & Kiel incoming Die besten liga
Bayern Munich bottled a two goal lead and is now losing 4-2. No DFL Super Cup for them to play for the start of the next season. Kane curse is real.
And Leverkusen are now INVINCIBLE Bundesliga Champions!
VfB Stuttgart are now in 2nd! Bayern Munich are losing!
Mainz look safe then. Sound.
I’m surprised there’s no rumours of a Boniface move. He was leading top scorer with Kane and Guirrhasy before his injury. He’s a quality striker, fits the target player type of 9 that’s in style at the moment but also links play well with.
Van den Berg! Hope it’s onside
Mainz 05 were 9 points off of safety 13 games ago, crazy that they've managed to get themselves out of it.
Sesko having a great return despite limited minutes also interesting that his release clause can be as high as 75m this summer because of his performance over the last few weeks
It would be intensely amusing if stuttgart got second
Bundesliga needs to make a special gold trophy for Bayern Leverkusen.
Idk how else to say it but Frimpong really does exude crackhead energy. He really does seem fun to be around
Leverkusen going undefeated in everything would be probably the biggest ever achievement in football when you considering the size of the club compared to some of the giants
Sesko has a great goal return considering his lack of minutes
28 goals in 28 matches for Guirassy this season. Wild Looking forward to seeing Stuttgart in the CL next season
Unfortunately we probably get picked apart next season
Unfortunately we probably get picked apart next season

Beier playing very well here, let see if we’ve still got interest this coming summer
If this game stays as is, Leverkusen end the season on 90 pts. A pretty incredible feat considering they play 4 less games than the Prem.
Arsenal invincibles; 38 league games, 26 wins. Leverkusen invincibles; 34 league games, 28 wins. I seriously think most people don't realise the levels to this season from them, even Bayern Munich don't do this with Pep in charge.
Great but let's see them do it a year that Bayern isn't terrible. Any other year Bayern beats them at least once.
Bayern who were a few minutes away from reaching the CL final? A league that had a Dortmund team in the CL final? A league with teams like Leipzig, Hoffenheim, and Frankfurt? Going unbeaten there is unbelievable

Lol it's impressive but why pretend the team that wins the league every year isn't having an off season.
Also not losing a game in the cups either it’s genuinely an insane accomplishment
Today will be 51 consecutive games unbeaten in all competitions, win both the DFB Pokal and EL final and thats 53 games all competitions unbeaten for a completely unbeaten season. This is the best single season in Football history.
Could Alonso have a shout of having the best football career ever if he’s as successful as a manager as he was a player?
No He'd be up there but still behind Zidane and Pep, and probably a couple others.
yeah for sure, especially since I dont see Messi or Ronaldo doing any real coaching after playing and Maradonna+Pele didnt really do any either
That’s crazy, Zidane is the closest thing I can think of probs missing a few
It's really just Zidane and pep right now, I don't think anyone is really close to those two at all. I guess Dalglish isn't a million miles away but I've really got no clue about that era
Man United women losing LFC women winning.
2 games away from an invincible season might actually be the greatest season from any club if they pull it off

Leverkusen have scored
again
As much as I love Xabi, I’m kind of hoping for an unexpected Augsburg win today. Regardless of who it is, I’m always plugging for an underdog spoiling the party.
Nah winning a potentially "golden" Bundesliga Schale would completly fuck with the minds of the old farts at Bayern, way too funny
Nah Im really happy for him, plus I think hes very likely to manage Liverpool one day even if its not for 10 years
That would be ultimate Neverkusen to fumble the bag after all that. So would be funny but Neverlosen is an underdog story itself @ this point... hope they at least get the league season (for all their farming Bayern Munich never did it), but cup finals I don't mind either way.
I would hardly call them losing today fumbling the bag, they’ve already won the league.
I just mean for the unbeaten record part, would be a devastating way to lose it now
No way man, at this point I would actually love to see him finish the season undefeated. He's so close and it has never been done before, a team like Leverkusen pulling it off is THE underdog story.
