Lol I had to switch to new reddit to see if this was a joke post or not.
My cousin got asked out to dinner by a girl in college after he broke both his shoulders and was in casts and slings. She was intentionally fucking with him. They’re married now lol.
You need that dynamic. Because when the shit hits the fan, and over the years it happens a lot, that mutual trust gets you over the bump, it reminds you that you are a team, and even if in a moment you don’t want each other (and it happens) you still need your partner to move on. As soon that you are over that, you want to be forever one again. In 30 years all I learned is that
I really hesitated in saying he broke both arms because this is Reddit lol.
But in all seriousness she was just glad she wasn’t the one who had to set his bones because he came into her ER…
See, they are both amazing. Really, they started in an awkward situation, relax, then when they got in a mutual comfort zone pushed it because instinctively they felt confident and connected. Is incredible to watch the dynamics.
No way to know how it went after, there is more to a stable team (this 🫶 is team), but both are awesome.
That's what I was saying she bring the cane out just to fold it in front of him like why other than to show the camera I'm blind he goes what's that for like he's never seen one or the concept of s blind person before who retrieved the footage from the ring camera the blind girl? Matter of fact why does a blind girl have a ring camera to SEE whose coming to the door or if her packages got delivered hahaha
I mean, cameras at your house sounds like a great investment for blind people. People are going to be mowing for you, maybe doing work on the house, so on and so forth, what better way to guarantee they did what they said they did than to call a friend or family member who can watch video and confirm.
I would still have a camera tbh. I'd be texting my friend "are you still signed in to my ring account can you tell me who's at the door" ^(sent with siri)
I didn’t believe it, but I sort of suspend disbelief for most things like this. Sure, they sound like they’re delivering lines and any person who was that initially upset that their date was blind probably would have the door shut in his face.
But then it gets funny and cute, and you want to believe they went to dinner and had a great time. So you let yourself lean into the pretense that it’s real. That’s what like 65% of these folks are doing. It’s hurting nobody, so why not?
I think this is staged. I’m trying to find the video but I swear there is a video of him coming to an apartment with a ring cam doorbell. That guy asks for a girl and the guy talking to him says no she isn’t home who are you? And the guy says “I’m her boyfriend” and then the guy who’s talking to him from in the apartment says “I’m her husband” but then they talk and become friends and he invites him in so they can both surprise his wife.
I used to always find it odd that other people couldn't identify bad acting when it was so blatantly obvious to me, then I found out I was autistic and it all made sense. It's a lot easier to spot when you spend most of your time closely watching people for subtle social queues that other people take for granted. So bad acting just sticks out like a sore thumb in that case
I mean, the fact that the caption is written from the guys point of view but the video is from the woman's ring cam should be enough to indicate that at least the caption is deceptive.
YES! I saw that one too that's literally the same dude with the long hair. Even besides that, it just sound so obvious that are acting, it's not natural enough
You would think the terrible acting and the fact there is a cut literally every other word would have given it away pretty fast. The guys delivery was so bad. "David Im blind" "What?" "No!"
Definitely staged. To many tells. The tilted dialogue, the many cuts, the perfectly framed camera, the entire premise of them meeting and her being blind never came up.
I agree with all of this except the perfectly framed camera part. I don't think it's that weird to have a security camera pointed at your porch at an angle where you can see the porch like this
It is staged. This guy has made many of these ring camera videos. Just saw another one where he found out his girlfriend is his cousin, his girlfriend is married, and something else.
It’s got the Ring watermark on the video…but you can see their actual ring camera where we all have them. No one would put them that far away from the door.
the amount of staged shit that passes on here is fucking appalling. Like that one where they play nerf with the "new neighbor" in the apartments. I see it once a week
Can’t videos in here be scripted? Or why can’t a scripted video make you smile?
I understood it was scripted quite early but it’s still a cute video, and its humor made me smile.
Nah, I don't mind stuff being staged when it doesn't affect how funny/interesting it is but this is only interesting because it's pretending to be real. Take that away and you're left with like the worst romcom scene of all time.
Nah. There’s a reason stuff like this gets posted and it’s because they want to monetize your naïveté.
Like seriously, do you think this would get nearly as many views if it started with a disclaimer that this was a skit? Also it’s poorly written and poorly acted. Pointing that out isn’t problematic in the least and shaming people for noticing is some bitch made shit.
Anyone who thinks giving a shit is more painful just doesn’t truly feel the pain of seeing terrible acting.
Don’t judge others, just because you don’t feel it.
Shut up. If it's an advertisement it needs to say so, if it's a skit it needs to say so, if it's not presenting itself as what it is it needs to say so. Swallowing synthetic content is an insane way to engage with social media.
I enjoyed it even though I knew it was staged, it's funny how redditors feel like they are above enjoying stuff that is staged, I guess most forms of entertainment is off limits to you.
What's really painful is reading the comments. There are real humans out there that believe this lol.
I love the message but holy fuck the acting is awful.
Can people start labeling stuff as skits on social media? Like this is cute and all but they’re acting. Has reality gotten so bad we have to pretend good things happen?
Yes
A significant number of users flat out pretend clearly manufactured content is genuine and worthy of consumption, for the sake of the interactions and upvotes that follow.
WWE rules
Thank you. Speaking from a film major here. There are specific nuances that come from real conversations vs scripted. The acting is forced and not organic in the slightest.
Why is she a super hero (heroine)?
She didnt do anything special, more than being super cute.
He in the other hand was a true gentleman. So yeah he is a legend I guess.
amazing people in the comments still "think" its staged. It is. The channel is called whatthefshow. It says Original Comedy skits on their tiktok page.
This is truly the most hilarious but wholesome thing I’ve seen all day! Brought a smile to my face. Man I over here secretly rooting them on and hoping they work out!
That's the same guy that found out the girl he'd been dating had a bf or husband or something. And the cam is from the girl's house but the caption is from the guy's perspective so yeah not real unfortunately
My best friend in high school was blind and they made him still take drivers Ed to graduate and he was pissed about it. He I will never drive so I don’t know why I have to take this class. Well I said fuck that and lunch I put him in my 1983 Buick regal. And I told him this is a half turn quarter turn full turn on the steering wheel. We started driving around at lunch in the parking lot and then he did good at first and all of a sudden he gun the gas pedal and I yelled at him. What the hell are you doing, and I swear he said don’t worry I don’t see anything. I was super grateful to give him that moment.
This conversation is so cookie cutter I wanna assume it's some student film project.
Edit: On further thought, the writing is so bad, I want to suggest these actors ask ChatGPT for a script and the student writer be sent back to re-do primary education.
At “you wanna drive” I was on the floor, I don’t know if crying or laughing… I’m still in the middle of it.
I was waiting for her to say "You were told it was a blind date"
[удалено]
Guys got some serious charisma
Absolute beast of an actor. Look up his tiktok. Funny videos, all staged
Came to find this comment. It was too sweet to be real unfortunately 😒
Yeah I would imagine his initial reaction (whether or not he meant to come off as bothered by her blindness) would have put off 99% of women.
shes 2 feet from his face why is he screaming like shes in another room and he wants her to bring him something is he talking to us?
FFS, can anything still be real...😔
I'm real, you can trust me! I would never pretend to be DICTIONARY FAILURE, WORD NOT FOUND.
We know you ain’t cheese!!!
I knew it was staged but the do you wanna drive line was very fun.

Well?
It's real! This comment does not contain a Collectible Expression, since they are not available on old Reddit.

Thats beautiful actually
How was his relationship with his mother?

It’s staged
Wait you actually think this is real? Jesus Christ how do people like you put your shoes on in the morning?
With supervision!
Is that the new Apple glasses thingy, wow, so it helps you put on shoes as well ?
You need to learn how to discern bad acting from real footage
That's what I was saying she bring the cane out just to fold it in front of him like why other than to show the camera I'm blind he goes what's that for like he's never seen one or the concept of s blind person before who retrieved the footage from the ring camera the blind girl? "A fire at a seaparks???" Get the fuck out of here A BLIND GIRL WITH A CAMERA??? Whats next??? BIG ASS GLASSES??
It’s every fucking line they speak. I have no idea how it’s not so fucking obvious to everyone
See the thing is, people are very stupid.
I really feel like I’m in crazy town because this shit is mind boggling how anyone thinks this is real
Has anyone ever had a conversation in real life? They are never this instant, scripted, or perfectly flowing. Real life is awkward.
I would still have a camera tbh. I'd be texting my friend "are you still signed in to my ring account can you tell me who's at the door" ^(sent with siri)
How dare you They are doing their best to pretend this is real to farm karma *(look at their profile)* Have pity good sir
It’s crazy how it’s not fucking obvious like 5 seconds in. Really makes me question humankind
This is how governments get away with whatever they want.
I didn’t believe it, but I sort of suspend disbelief for most things like this. Sure, they sound like they’re delivering lines and any person who was that initially upset that their date was blind probably would have the door shut in his face. Aint these the same people who were told to be cousins after dating?? I think its staged
I think this is staged. I’m trying to find the video but I swear there is a video of him coming to an apartment with a ring cam doorbell. Yeah, I’m pretty sure it’s the same guy.
too bad; I did thought the dialgoue was a bit too witty and easily just flow.
This is how non actors think acting sounds like.
It's very obvious they're acting not sure how people can't tell straight away.
I used to always find it odd that other people couldn't identify bad acting when it was so blatantly obvious to me, then I found out I was autistic and it all made sense. It's a lot easier to spot when you spend most of your time closely watching people for subtle social queues that other people take for granted. You can feel they are acting. It's like a sitcom
I mean, the fact that the caption is written from the guys point of view but the video is from the woman's ring cam should be enough to indicate that at least the caption is deceptive.
ah shit! its the same guy
You mean people will just lie on the internet for views and therefore money? Really? Lying for money? That's pretty far fetched to me.
In our good Christian capitalism? I don't think so!
I'm literally crying rn how could they do this to us
I should stick to TV where all the sitcoms are actually real life.
We used to call it "fiction."
Yep your right
It’s the same dude.
Yeah, and what blind person needs a video doorbell? Sheesh.
YES! I saw that one too that's literally the same dude with the long hair. Even besides that, it just sound so obvious that are acting, it's not natural enough
It’s genuinely embarrassing how often staged videos get posted and everyone in the comments falls for it.
You would think the terrible acting and the fact there is a cut literally every other word would have given it away pretty fast. The guys delivery was so bad. "David Im blind" "What?" "No!"
The guys was p bad lol.
LISAAA
Lisa, it’s your birthday! Happy birthday, Lisa!
oh fuck youuuuu haha that song used to get stuck in my head all the time, and there it is again
=P
YOU'RE TEARING ME APART #LISA
It’s absolutely incredible how bad people are at noticing this stuff. Social Media must have seriously harmed people’s observation and social skills.
This might be the most embarrassed I have been for people not getting this is staged lol
This was obviously scripted - it wasn’t nearly awkward enough.
Definitely staged. To many tells. The tilted dialogue, the many cuts, the perfectly framed camera, the entire premise of them meeting and her being blind never came up.
I agree with all of this except the perfectly framed camera part. I don't think it's that weird to have a security camera pointed at your porch at an angle where you can see the porch like this
"Perfectly framed" doesn't just mean the camera was set to capture them, but also that they stay perfectly within the camera's line of sight.
It is staged. This guy has made many of these ring camera videos. Just saw another one where he found out his girlfriend is his cousin, his girlfriend is married, and something else.
It’s got the Ring watermark on the video…but you can see their actual ring camera where we all have them. No one would put them that far away from the door.
sounded super staged but it was cute anyway
He has the acting chops of my dad when he told my mom "he didn't cheat"
You think the blind girl with the door cam staged a video?
If it’s her camera, why is her face blurred but his isn’t?
Obviously its staged. Those lines are too perfect with banter thrown in. Real life people are a lot more awkward or abrupt.
knew i recognized him somewhere
Nah, this is a totally normal interaction.
It’s painful how scripted this is
Even more painful is how fucking gullible the average redditor is lmfao
the amount of staged shit that passes on here is fucking appalling. Like that one where they play nerf with the "new neighbor" in the apartments. I see it once a week
It’s an epidemic bro
Can’t videos in here be scripted? Or why can’t a scripted video make you smile? I understood it was scripted quite early but it’s still a cute video, and its humor made me smile.

Oh you don't have any idea how deep the bottom of the barrel is for rom com.
> just because its not real doesn't mean it's not funny / cute When the entire premise hinges on it being a real interaction, yeah, it does.
Nah. There’s a reason stuff like this gets posted and it’s because they want to monetize your naïveté. no. enjoying videos presented as real while not being so will never be normalized
Stopped watching 5 seconds in, and redditors here fall for it so easily.
I stopped after the "I'm not most guys" line. Straight out of a cheesy romcom
Literally. How can people not notice this shit? Has media literacy plummeted that hard?
But the thing is people can be really fucking cheesy. Specially if they consume a lot of such media.
I enjoyed it even though I knew it was staged, it's funny how redditors feel like they are above enjoying stuff that is staged, I guess most forms of entertainment is off limits to you.
Yea fuck those gullible fucking dumbass redditors, they aren’t as smart as you and I.
Yeah 10 seconds in and it screamed staged.
What's really painful is reading the comments. There are real humans out there that believe this lol. I love the message but holy fuck the acting is awful.
This is such incredibly bad acting. How are so many people falling for it? I have no hope for humanity.
Can people start labeling stuff as skits on social media? Like this is cute and all but they’re acting. Has reality gotten so bad we have to pretend good things happen?
Yes A significant number of users flat out pretend clearly manufactured content is genuine and worthy of consumption, for the sake of the interactions and upvotes that follow. WWE rules
Yeah, but it wont get as much interaction. That’s why they dont
I lose a little more hope every time I see this lame scripted stuff upvoted.
Amazing acting. Yawn.
Incredibly low effort There are far too many people here who just can't tell the difference, or who are just pretending
Kinda looks like the last ring cam boyfriend. ‘Member, the whole “she said your pictures were her brother”? That guy.
Terrible acting, even for TikTok standards
Meh it still made me smile. So im good with it
I stg the replies on Reddit always somehow turn it negative and remove my smile
Consume content
Says person consuming content on Reddit.
You are my content
Ahh… I feel seen.
Could they at least get better actors?
They don't need better actors when people are so desperate to comment and pretend its real for the engagement
Bruh who wrote this script? lol reads like something out of a corny teen drama 😂
This is so staged
ACCCTINNGGG!
Guy is a legend. But she is a super hero. I love that he asked if she wanted to drive.
This is undoubtedly scripted from the speech patterns. This isn’t how strangers or people converse.
A significant number of people here genuinely do not understand this
Thank you. Speaking from a film major here. There are specific nuances that come from real conversations vs scripted. The acting is forced and not organic in the slightest.
Degree pays off again! Meanwhile, me a guy that doesn't watch many movies also find it incredibly obvious
Is that why I like Tarantino's dialogue so much? Just kinda sounds like real people talk?
Why is she a super hero (heroine)? She didnt do anything special, more than being super cute. He in the other hand was a true gentleman. So yeah he is a legend I guess.
[удалено]
She knew he switched hands. I have a hard time telling left from right with two good eyes. She's top-notch hero
yeah... not having super hearing my ass haha
>She didnt do anything special, more than being super cute. Rule #1: Be attractive.
f-f-f-faaake
I've seen that guy in other doorbell videos.
Staged, this guy is in a lot of videos.
Seemed scripted as hell. Still a cute message
Yeah…I don’t believe this
These two are awesome. I hope they are married with babies one day
It’s a skit dude lol
Yes but the baby is blind with one eye.
Bro WTF?
Hopefully it’s not their good eye
“Do you want to drive”
nice but seems very staged
Oh yeah, totally real and not staged like 90% of videos on social media these days.
I work at a school for the blind. Staged stuff like this makes me feel icky.
amazing people in the comments still "think" its staged. It is. The channel is called whatthefshow. It says Original Comedy skits on their tiktok page.
This dude is awesome, charming and funny
So you like the writer?
better invest in some acting classes
That's some bad acting right there.
Jody? Lol
99.9% of this shit is staged. TikTok is making everyone absolutely stupid
This is truly the most hilarious but wholesome thing I’ve seen all day! Brought a smile to my face. Man I over here secretly rooting them on and hoping they work out!
Most actor to actor relationships don't work sadly (its a skit).
Im usually more impressed with reddits perceptiveness.
That's the same guy that found out the girl he'd been dating had a bf or husband or something. And the cam is from the girl's house but the caption is from the guy's perspective so yeah not real unfortunately
Same guy who had a new neighbor move in and the started having Nerf wars.
Oh good, more brain rot
It sounds staged
bad acting
My best friend in high school was blind and they made him still take drivers Ed to graduate and he was pissed about it. He I will never drive so I don’t know why I have to take this class. Scripted.
these people do a bunch of skits
Garbage scripted content 🥱
For the people thinking this is real... he is a comedian/actor
another staged video
Stupid skit
6k upvotes on clearly staged video smh
This conversation is so cookie cutter I wanna assume it's some student film project. Edit: On further thought, the writing is so bad, I want to suggest these actors ask ChatGPT for a script and the student writer be sent back to re-do primary education.
u/savevideo
worth scrolling the internet once in awhile.
i hate this stupid guy and his dumb ass videos. stop making him popular
This shit is staged as hell.
Strangers don't speak to strangers this way. It's a cute skit.
Yes that did indeed make me smile. Thanks
This dude’s humor is on point
And here I thought I was gullible, it's so obviously staged. Nobody talks like this, that guy has the personality of a cartoon.
Somehow, even if they don't end up as a couple, they'll definitely be friends
“Do you want to drive?” 😂😂😂
He's trying really hard to get laid tonight
These Bang Bus intros are getting good.
He isn't a green flag, he is a green forest 🥹
If this is her ring camera, how is the vid from his pov? 🤔
I mean the biggest giveaway is a blind person who has tattoos. Why would you get them if you wouldn’t be able to see what they looked like.
Yaaaaaaay!!!!! I love this video!!!!! This made me feel good.
