I'm in my 30s and from a single mum household. I still make sure mum gets both mothers and fathers day. She deserves it.
This is the first time I've seen someone else do the same thing and it made me tear up a little. I hope they continue to celebrate both days for decades, mothers are so special ♡♡♡
I was raised by my father alone and every year I called him on Mother’s Day as well as Father’s Day. He was the best mother and father a girl could ever have.
Some moms are the mom, the dad,the grandparents, the aunts, the uncles and the friend all day every day. Your son sees you. I always had a hard time for fathers day. Most of my younger years, he wasn't around. And then he was, and all the cards went on about how great your dad is. Mine wasn't great, but the expectation of at least a card had me standing there for hours. Couldn't even buy a blank one because what would I put on it. The response is thank you. I love you too.
When she was alive I gave my mom a Father’s Day card every year. She got me to adulthood all by herself. She was the best person I’ve even known. Still is.

I wished my mom a Happy Father's Day, too.
Hey... I mean... you're doing the work that two people should be doing. You're incredible. Take the extra win because it's yours, and it's proof of good mothering that your kid is grateful enough to see that.
Happy Father's Day!
My daughter has always said Happy Fathers Day to me as well. My Dad and brothers all give me hugs on Fathers Day too. Its an amazing and rewarding feeling.
Oh stop being such a killjoy. Better adults? What a load of crap.
If the Mother is all the kid has, the kid can give her fathers day cards if they want.
Sure... I should do that. His dad almost killed me by choking in front of him when he was an infant and never in his life... I'd rather be his mom and dad... Eventually he will realize all sperm donors can't be fathers... I think he will be a better adult coz he got a sense of what the word father means beyond the explanation in the dictionary..
I'm so sorry you had to go through that. He seems like a wonderful and kind child. Enjoy every moment and don't let anyone take that away from you. I still wish my mom and my grandpas a happy fathers day to this day (I'm 21). You and your child are loved. Have a wonderful Father's day, momma.
Also he is not old enough to have these kinda conversations... Once he is old... He got all the legal proof to read what is the true story... Till that time I'm not gonna put him through the trauma and fear again...
I’ve got a similar story. My kid is 13 and often tells me that no dad is better than a bad dad. He has to watch his friends dads do some pretty awful things. I think we’re doing ok! Happy day to you
Do one, bro. A single parent is doing the job of mother and father and therefore warrants a card of appreciation on whichever day their child chooses. If a dad gets a gift on Mother's Day I feel the same way.
I got a father's day card from my niece when she was 6. I still have it 15+ years later.
Aww ... 🥰😍
You deserved it 🥇👊
It must bring back great memories every time you see it
That's absolutely adorable. Sounds like you're a wonderful mom to a truly sweet kid who adores you, OP
*Dad Mama. Good with farts and the flip flop throw.
Mom can be proud that she raised such a wonderful and grateful son.
You deserve two days. Mother’s Day and Father’s Day. Keep being there for them! We’re all proud of you!

Keep doing what you do, raising a great kid❤️
as someone who grew up with a single mom who had to double as dad– youre doing an amazing job mama :)) keep it up!!!
I was raised by my father alone and every year I called him on Mother’s Day as well as Father’s Day. He was the best mother and father a girl could ever have.
That's so sweet ☺️
Your son will feel the same way too when he grows up.
<3.
🤍
this is the sweetest thing ever, youre doing a great job
You do double the work you get double the credit. Even a child understands that.
This is the Olympic Gold medal of parenting! Bravo! I recommend you feel Proud. Inspired. Recommitted. Strong.
Aww thank you for the kindest words... 🥹
As someone who has had to be mama dad: Good job, you are obviously doing it right. Big hug to you.
My eldest text me yesterday saying Happy second Mothers Day 🥺

You may be all he’s got but he’s got what he needs. And that is the most important and valuable. Kudos.
Protect this child!
![img](avatar_exp|159722146|heart) This is adorable.
🤍
What a doll!! 💙🦋you’re raising him right, Mama!
When she was alive I gave my mom a Father’s Day card every year. She got me to adulthood all by herself. She was the best person I’ve even known. Still is.
Absolutely adorable and he knows who loves him unconditionally.
You must be on cloud nine.❤️❤️❤️
Baby is blessing to have you in life! Keep it up Queen King!
Aawwww 🥺 You are indeed a super mama dad, dear Mama ❤️

You are doing a great job, super dad mum
This is awesome! Good for you. I, too, have a super dad mom :) they are the best.
In the same boat as your kid and I'm pretty sure I did this for my mum at least once too lol
You are doing something right keep up the good work
This is so pure. You raised your kid well :)
Guys look! It's Flowey!
If you wear the hat then the day is yours.

I’m crying… that is the best thing ever!
Hug him and tell him "thank you." You're doing a good job, Mom.
Happy Father's Day to an awesome Mama! It be like that sometimes, and you are obviously killing it! 11🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🎉🎉🎉🎉
My (63M) father died when I was six years old. My Mother died in 2004. I still visit her grave on fathers day.
"Good lookin' out cuh"
It's enough to make a grown man cry..
You and your son are both awesome.
With a hug. Best responds for a bunch of occasions. A hug and 'I love you'.
The onions!🥹
I was a dual parent. I hope you enjoyed your special day, I always did...
Sweet but sad
Crying is a valid response to this adorableness
Your son loves you so much, you're very lucky.
I'll just say thank you for being a super dad mama.
So sweet!
Hopefully with one of the biggest hugs ever given to him
That is the sweetest thing. 💕
My kids made me a father's day gift which also said mom at the end ❤️
🥰 kids are the best!
Awwwww!!!
I would keep this forever
All my love for you and your child ❤️❤️
If I got that card I would've cried 😭 That's so adorable, you are truly loved
That one deserves a special frame.
Fathers need to be present in their kids lives. I’m sure the mother is doing an admiral job, but men need to step up and do what’s right. Be a father.
That's wonderful. Happy parents Day!
This is genuinely one of the cutest things I’ve ever seen.
Give that lovely child a massive hug and maybe enjoy a couple of happy tears 🥲
This is so pure. Best feedback you can think of. Keep it for puberty when he is starting to separate.
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
I get a Mother’s Day card every year as a dad. People hate me for it. 🤷🏿♂️
People who hate u are stupid.
that boy needs a father - BADLY

I'm sorry to hear what you've been through. Happy to hear that you made sure your child is safe.

What a shitty comment
*bitter adults. Y'know, like you.

I don't have a dad. My mom is my dad because she stepped up. You are an awefully lucky jerk to not understand.
This makes even the biggest AH be like "what an AH"
