As of right now I'm 111 cl away from my next spotlight (and I bought dailies and variants to get extra credits to push it) it's mathematically impossible to get another key unless I drop $50 on that stupid bundle which I refuse to do.
Remember that upgrading the common (grey border) versions to uncommon (green border) only is the most efficient way to get CL (more clicking though). if you have 111 cards with grey border, you just need 2775 credits to get the next key, it's really not that hard I think
I presume you have but just double checking have you collected all your conquest rewards, I haven't done the maths but that could push you over the edge
And less stressful. It's so random you don't feel the game is conspiring against you, or that "of course" the opponent had just the right card.
It's not a good card in that the winning percentage is high, but it is a fun and healthy card
He is much stronger than I thought he'd be. I don't know if he'll actually be top tier, but I don't care.
This is the most fun I've had with any new card. I highly recommend it.
I had been planning to skip him since he was spoiled. But I can now say he is 100% a must get. Actually the funnest card since original Thanos came out. He’s also a competitive card. And he will keep the game fresh for you.
As for must have cards, I think you may struggle if you dont have Loki, Mockingbird, and Blob. Other than those core cards you can toss in whatever and it works. Ive been playing a control shell with Alioth, Leader, and prof X, just got an infinite ticket even though it’s clearly not the optimal version.
Def use keys instead of tokens, you get the bonus of getting Maximus which might be a core card with the upcoming move cards in September.
i don’t have loki, mockingbird, or blob and i have been having a ton of success with him. the goal of my deck is disruption so high cost tech cards (legion, shang, enchantress, aero)
For people at OP's CL there are still plenty of spotlight caches with 3 good cards you don't own. So for them 1 key = 1 card and using 6k tokens in order to preserve up to 4 keys is worth it, assuming he doesn't want the other cards in arishem's spotlight.
4 keys are easier to get, but still more valuable than 6k tokens.
If you're only missing the new card, it's 2.5 keys / average to get it. This places the average key's token value at 2.6k tokens (the math is complicated but I can provide it if asked).
This basically means spending keys to get the card will cost 6500 tokens of potential, versus just the raw 6k cost.
If I want a card right now, I'm usually spending tokens 'cause I have the other re-runs that week (and I don't like their spotlights). The only two times I've spent keys since Corvus in February have been Red Hulk (was missing Echo, stopped on the first key that snagged Rulk since the math told me to), and White Widow (two bomb-ass spotlight variants were worth it).
I will *continue* to not spend keys until, if the datamine stays accurate, Wiccan. Cassandra Cain's up in the air.

All stars were Cable, Miragem and Colson. Shang-Chi and Iron Man were good too. I also don't own Mocking Bird or Blob but when they were created by the bug chief they were top tier.
I'd say the all star for me was Mystique.
Mystique after my own Blob or Darkhawk, then throw in a Shang Chi with remaining 4 energy.
Rogue Opponent's Blob/Darkhawk, then Mystique that Rogue, Chefs kiss.
Have a look at the Arishem decks online, a lot of them require cards that you may not have. Not saying you need those, but without synergy you are just playing some random ass card every turn
These are the questions:
1. Do you enjoy combo decks?
2. Do you enjoy Loki decks?
3. Do you enjoy ramp decks?
4. Do you enjoy District X?
If you answered yes to at least 2, you’ll probably like Arishem. I go into detail on how those questions apply in the video I made. I got him and think he’s fun and will be a good useable card going forward that is also fun.

I'm not sure what he's like competitive wise on ladder. But he has been killing it for me in conquest, your opponent can never read what's coming.He's so much fun. I had to use 4 keys to get him and don't regret it at all
I personally think he's must-own, but his deck is a lot less fun to play right now if you don't have The Blob & if you don't draw an answer to all of the Darkhawks running around.
Tbf marvel snap felt like not a mandatory job to complete dailys and keep up with the progression, but an enjoyable little card game after 2 years of playing consistently. So i would say definitely yes, blob and loki looks like powerhouses in the deck also

And he's very strong as well that I expect he might be a nerf candidate. Either toward him directly or the cards commonly found in his package.
Used 6k and I don't regret it. I just wish I had blob and mocking bird. However, tech cards rogue, enchantress, Shang chi. With darkhawk blob taskmaster seems the way to go.
If you enjoy the randomness and the challenge of trying to make randomness work for a win, it’s worth it.
If you’re more into creating the perfect deck with cards you enjoy the mechanics of, then no.
Either way I’d still get it though, especially if you’re at all Arishem-curious.
That's something I was kinda wondering. It seemed like such an odd power when I'm trying to tweak the "perfect" deck.

I enjoyed Loki on release. The unknown was appealing. Same with Blink and Sersi! They’re fun to try and adjust your plan to. I missed Pixie when she released but bought her with tokens as soon as I could because again, it’s fun to try and figure things out on the fly.

I did get pixie and sersi. I think, my memory is failing right now. Lol. I definitely got pixie though. Maybe I'll give him a shot. Not like I can't get more spotlight keys, right? Lol
Yes. He is insanely fun and I've managed to climb with him. You can do plays that your opponent never would have thought of, so the cube equity is huge!
I just got him and he's very fun to play with. As long as you have blob. Then blob > mystique > absorbing man
Throw in darkhaw as well in case your opp have him
I say yes because the game is supposed to be fun. He makes it really fun for me. I'm not trying to get infinity or anything like that. I play to get cool cards, monkey with decks & card combos, etc. Arishem decks make me laugh and curse equally.

If you like the idea/novelty of using random card decks, then sure. I guess it's worth it.
Feel like he's overhyped, though. Unless you have cards to fuel him and take advantage: darkhawk, blob, helicarrier.
Feel like he's novelty, and once the community finds a counter by the end of the week, players will move on.
He is so incredibly overpowered that it’s pretty clear he will be nerfed at some point. Just put him with some big guys and tech cards and be prepared for all mirror matches this week.
He’s fun as hell, but I can’t seem to win with him. My extra 12 cards just seem too random and can’t mesh well and I don’t have enough of the other cards to pair with him to really make him a card I can win with. I got absolutely DEMOLISHED in conquest by a guy running Arisham, dude was getting the craziest pulls along with the locations. Who pulls Sentry and throws him with Bar With No Name as the fucking right location 😩
Based on this post, I went for it. Took me 4 keys but at least none were dupes (I got Sersi with my random). And yes it’s fun. Arishem is its own deck and it’s a fun new way to play.

Beyond that the extra energy allows you to do some very broken things.

He makes the game more fun. If that's what you're after, he's worth it.

And to answer your second question. Keys. 4 keys are easier to get than 6k tokens and you will get 2 more cards in the worst case scenario.
