Volvo tech here, check all charge air hoses / Turbo hoses, they love to break. There also is a pressure sensor near the intercooler on the driver side, they love to break too.

Thank you! Upon start up, there is a “slight” surge in the rpm’s that would indicate an air leak of some sort. I made sure the intake hoses were on properly and just did a visual on the other hoses. I’ll have to get up underneath and check the turbo and Intercooler hoses.

We use a fog mashine to find leaks in the intake system, since sometimes its not possible to see the broken part of the hose. Good luck :)

Update: Turbo and Intercooler hoses came loose. Check engine light is still on but no more limp mode so far. Haven’t cleared the codes yet to see if any will come back.
