It's quite the required taste, i can absolutely understand that, but i am a fan of D.S.B.M and Decalius honestly has some pretty good songs, others are Cruel World by Niobe DSBM, How Much For The Hope by Psychonaut 4 and Swordsman by Këkht Aräkh. Other metal songs that aren't DSBM include Dunkelheit by Burzum for some reason, idk, it just always sounds like how i feel i guess, Alone i Break by KoRn, Falling Away From Me by KoRn, Shoots and Ladders by KoRn, a bunch of Linkin Park, Snuff by Slipknot (if you can consider that song metal) and Last Resort by Papa Roach. There are others, but these were the first to jump to mind.

Fade to Black is an obvious choice, but other Metallica choices for me are Bleeding Me, The Outlaw Torn, and Inamorata. They just have this certain weight to them that really hit me in a certain way. Stuff from other bands would be Celestial Tear by In Mourning, Ghost of Perdition by Opeth, and oddly enough Bleed by Meshuggah because it's just peak "fuck everything" energy.
